I'm thinking about spending a week and a half or two weeks in Europe around March
The places I'd like to visit are Prague, Berlin, Amsterdam and maybe Switzerland if my friend who lives there will be free during that time

Now, I've been to Prague last year so I'm thinking spend just a day or two there since I've seen all the stuff I wanted to see last time
From there to Berlin for a few days (I don't know still how many, I'm pretty clueless about that place) and then Amsterdam (depends on how many days I've spend in Berlin and Prague)

So a few questions
Should I travel by bus or by rail? I'd like to catch some sleep if it's all possible durning that time
Is there any other place I should see? If there's a city around these cities that is intersting enough which I could do for a day that'd be nice
Any tips on Berlin in general?
>>
Rail is good
Depending on the time the ticket can be cheap or fucking expensive tho
But it's fast and you can sleep a little comfortably since you aren't usually cramped
Bus is ok but uncomfortable noisy and slower

Take a walking tour in Berlin. The tour guides are knowledgeable and you will do a lot of sightseeing for one day and learn a lot of history. I'm not much of a museum guy. Food in Berlin is cheaper than other EU countries I visited (also more basic). Enjoy yourself. I did. ;)

>Is there a recomended walking tour?

I don't know about that. I'm a local but I rarely do walk around my city just like that.

>And any hidden gems of food places?

Dozens, there's many places where you can get affordable and non pretentious street food.

Bus is more affordable and usually the better choice.

>Is there any other place I should see? If there's a city around these cities that is intersting enough which I could do for a day that'd be nice

If you are in Berlin checking out Potsdam might be worth it.
