Dancer in Siem Reap. The various ruins around there were amazing, but I think this is a btter pictutre than any I took of "a ruin."

Here's me checking out the view in Kings Canyon, Australia
I've posted this picture on this board before... but an unnamed temple in the middle of rural Karnataka, India. We were probably the first white people to visit it, most of the villagers in the local area had never seen non-Indians before.
Creepily suggestive looking wall of conch shellsl in Turks and Caicos. Paging Mr. Giger...

Hey guys, ever thought of reducing the over the top unnecessarily large resolution/file sizes of your photos before posting?
>>1279478
It was really no more than a few brightly painted walls. A tiny central "courtyard" with a 7-8 foot male statue; I'm not sure what figure it was, probably a Hindu deity, but it was nude.
If you went to the back of the temple, you could look out over the landscape. It was a great view, but unfortunately I don't have any pictures of that.

Nope.

Yep -- I used to do that after somebodt like you complained -- it is not much trouble, so I didn;t mind helping out a fellow /trv/ler who had crappy connection.
But then somebody else complained I was posting pics that were too small "Why don't you post the originals for us?"
Learning anew that you can't please everybody, I just post them as they are. If it bothers you, there is, right to the right of the file name, the file size -- you can skip clicking any that are to large (or small) for you.

Iceland is one of my favorite places -- I was therein the early spring, still snowing every couple of days, lots of snow on the ground. I want to go back and see it in the summer, looks like a different sort of amazing place.
Idk why, but I just can't get enough of the lush jungle scenery that we saw in Laos

Going down there with family next week, we'll be 20 minutes or so SE of Jaco in a house -- if you were in that area, any reccomendations would be welcome.
