Going to visit Oslo in few weeks.
Got any hints on some places to visit? Maybe good restaurants or some cultural places?

Are you sure your wallet is prepared for it?

Yeah, I've got tickets, got place to live and got few grands to spend.
Try to avoid the city centre including Karl Johans Gate (the main shopping street). Avoid shit like TGI Fridays and Egon, and never ever give anything to the gypsies. Oslo is divided into an affluent part, the west side, and an working class part, the east side. It's pretty fun to walk from Frogner to Grunerlokka, ie west to east. There's tonnes of good restaurants in Oslo. Le Benjamin is a good bistro, Pjoltergeist is a lot of fun and so is Publiko and Happolati. Fuglen and Himkok are good cocktail bars.
Download the app called Ruter and buy a day or weeks pass for the buss/tram/subway. Or just walk if the weather's good. It's a small City.

Thank you. Please do.
More interested in awesome places, like trolltunga, is it overrated? Or maybe preikestolen?
Would appreciate any details on those, including how to reach them, etc.
Do I have to get local currency or my credit card will do just fine?

They're both far off from Oslo. We're taking 6-10 hours by car.
No one but immigrants and old people use cash. Card's fine

Well, at least can I expect on some bus to get there? Or some regular tourist routes?

I've heard great things about the Norway in a nutshell tour, you should check it out
I'm going to Bergen in a few weeks. Any recommendations there?

Edvard Grieg's house. Also, eat a whale steak at the fish market, it will cost you about 80 eur.
