Anyone here been to Kaunas? What did you think about it?

I'm thinking of going with a group of friends for an extended weekend due to cheap flight tickets.

Is it worth it?

Made a trip from Warsaw-Brest-Minsk-Vilius-Kaunas-Kaliningrad-Gdansk

Kaunas is rather small, but has some nice sites to offer. When I was there they started to rebuilt their central avenue, it is like a boulvard with a lot of parks and attractions. Must be lovely right now since it is finished and its sumemr time. Night life is - depending on your companions - chill. Couple of beers, live bands, youngters speak englsh
