Which one are you going to? General tips:
>pick the right day (if you can)
Use this: http://www.isitpacked.com/disneyland-crowd-forecast-predictor-calendar/
>utilize Fastpasses
They're free. Get Fastpasses on the most popular rides early in the day, like for Space Mountain. On crowded days they usually run out of Fastpasses by the midway through the day.
>buy souvenirs at end of day or ask them to hold it for you at the park exit
That way you can pick it up at end and not have to carry it around all day. The main street shops and downtown Disney (assuming you're in Anaheim) close an hour after park closing
>ask for ice water instead of buying bottled water
You can ask for it at any restaurant
>bring sunscreen and your own water/snacks
I dunno anon, what do you want to do at Disneyland? There's nothing to really avoid
I dont know why a single person would ever want to go there

Teach them corporate worship from an early age. Be sure to buy them lots of merch so they can sleep under a duvet cover of images engineered to stifle their own creative processes. Stifle them into a one-track, ethnocentric, family-friendly worldview. That's stellar parenting.

When I was living in Tokyo, I went atleast once every six months. I constantly had this thought in my head, (Im too old for this, etc) but my Japanese friends or a visiting friend always wanted to go.
Every single time I enjoyed myself and left the park thinking it was silly to think that beforehand
