Are you a backpack or suitcase traveler? It's my first trip, I'll be traveling for a month and wondering what is best.
Backpack, I have a 35 lt, that expands into a 45lt.
I spend too much time on the move to lug a suitcase around..
backpack (not actually a backpack but a duffle bag) if the destination's within europe, or is some seedy area (egypt, india)
otherwise suitcase

Depends on what you're doing and where you go.
I'm a minimalistic cabin trolly + purse traveler. No matter if I go to places for a weekend or 3 months, I just wash my stuff or buy additional stuff as needed.
I just carry a set of change cloths, my phone, charger, powerbank, credit card and passport.

usually some kind of backpack or duffel bag. Many hotels have some kind of washing machine system, or you can google and use coin laundry. Vaccum bags are also a nice thing that can help you save a bit of space.

If this is your first trip, you'll have to give a few more details. Suitcases are good if you're staying in one or a couple of spots, while backpacks are better if you'll be moving around frequently. You'll be carrying less with a backpack unless it's a very large one, and you'll probably bring shit you didn't need to bring

Pretty much this, really depends on how long you are staying as well. If you don't mind using laundromats you can almost always nullify the need for a big suitcase. I'd just throw things in the wash, grab some food, come back when my clothes are done. You'd be surprised how much space you can save just by looking up some laundromats around where you are going.
