I am going to Seoul/Tokyo in a month for 2 weeks, should I worry about all of this Nork weapon testing shit? Or is it being over hyped by the media? I have been to some pretty sketch places before I am mostly concerned with there being some weird Military curfew in Seoul much like it was in Bangkok during the coup.
Yeah, Nork activities are at an unusual high. stay in Tokyo. It's a better city anyway.
I was in Seoul about two weeks ago and aside from the odd soldier there was really no way to tell anything was going on, at this point it's just not something that the locals spend much time thinking about.

Was there in december when all the protest where going on https://youtu.be/8g__bdejP0w
But even then, it concentrated mainly on some specific areas. You could go to all the touristic sites without problems
I recommend the royal palace https://youtu.be/Y3DwuEq9mRo
and the namsan park https://youtu.be/08-IwNShbfY
Plus: The tower was surprisingly not crowded https://youtu.be/IZVd-Bc-T4I

It's fine, man. Don't forget to sample the comfort women before leaving, it's an age-old Korean tradition that you can't pass up if you want to have an authentic experience.
