Well, it would be closer to two days partying since I would work that Friday before leaving. I've been to Vegas before and coming from the East Coast with the time change and adrenaline of being there you kind of lose track of time, and walk out of a strip club at 8 a.m. thinking it's still midnight.

Are you sure it wouldn't work? When I checked stuff for a few hours before they didn't ask for any proof I was even staying at the hotel, so that's what gave me the idea. I mean dropping a few hundred on an extra night isn't the end of the world but that could be money spent towards a bottle Saturday or gambling rather than 5 hours of shitty sleep and would amplify the hype of the trip.

not that big a deal, casinos want you to spend your cash at their hotel, if you're dropping bags off you're gonna go there, walk around a while, and eventually come back for them, so they get two cracks at your money which is probably worth storing a box for a day

I left my bag at a hotel in Copenhagen for two weeks and fucked off to Germany lol. I only had a one night reservation there for when I returned. They were really helpful and even had a locked room.
The nicer the hotel the more likely they are to accommodate you. The shitty ones told me to fuck off basically.

You need one more day of hotel for this plan. The luggage hold is just to wait til your room is ready (oh like you got a redeye and it's 7AM and check-in isn't until 11AM, or it's for when you already did your checkout, plan to do a day tour and leave the hotel, but come back early evening to get you bags before your flight departs. You are supposed to get a room for when normal people are needing a room, 4PM to 8AM window, duh. I wouldn't ever consider it "safe" anyway, make sure your things are secured, maybe better than TSA locks, but when you are a paying guest of some clout, somewhere really decent that has a check room with 24/7 bellhops at it, it's run as smooth as a valet key check. Reported theft from employees when you were a real person there is just like stealing from your room. But, you'll find at a lot of hotels except the most large, they really don't want to watch your bags, or don't really have a totally secure way to do that since they leave their desk constantly, and it' sjust on the floor in their office behind the desk.

Your check-out at noon is what is considered late checkout, most places, so make sure you have that cleared in advance. It might be denied and unavailable for you to stay past 11:15 and that would be pushing it, might be an extra fee like even an extra day's charge. One way to get like another 45mins to an hour out of them is keep someone back in the room to let you back in, while you give up the keys and pay at the front desk (or do self-check out). But at any moment a maid can knock, you need to hustle.
