Has anyone here been to Azerbaijan? What's worth seeing? Any recommendations?

They have some very lifelike pinatas.
Technically I've been there (Nagorno-Karabakh)
Agdam Mosque was cool because it's probably the most weird thing I've done while travelling

:^)
Why was it weird? How was it?

Not him and I've never been there, but an abandoned mosque that's filled with pigs and cows does seem like a strange thing to experience.

I have a fascination for abandoned/remote architecture and the whole set-up is quite unique. Agdam is a ruined city crossed by a war front (not very active at the moment) so that means the mosque itself is not far away from the frontline and is one of the few buildings still standing.
I also tried to find the persian cemetery nearby but neither me nor the taxi driver could find shit. One of those things you'll never forget...

that's not the case anymore. I went there 2015 and the main door is closed even though you can access it by the same way you get to the minarets

Ah alright, I just googled for pictures.
