Burger here, about to go to Europe for the first time in a couple weeks. How do I plug in my electronics when everything is 220v (or is it 240v)? Do I need one of these little step down transformers or something if I want to plug in my laptop without it exploding?

Dude what? Of fucking course not, just get an outlet converter and you'll be fine

Modern electronics can handle varying voltages by themselves. Electrical appliances, like hair dryers, other objects without a computer in them, etc, no. But computers, phones, tablets, etc--no problem.
have a look on the plugs or device
most will say Input: 110-240V
so they take a range
some however will only be 100-110 and will blow up or pop a fuse if you use it in 240v
While you're in the mood of stepping down things lower your voice 30db whilst in Europe. Thanks.

Ahhahaha 'Welcome to Europe. We love you, but please keep your voice down.'

As someone said, check the voltage ob each plug/device. Don't assume all are good. An example, American Xbox Ones are only 120v. While doing the expat thing, the store for us all products were imported from the USA. More than a few people blew up their power adapters, despite them putting "120V only" on the boxes
