Unless you work is transferring you to sydney, I am not liking your chances of staying there. Melbourne or Brisbane are your best bet. Brisbane is a little rougher, good banter and is the only state that is still the real Australia. Melbourne is very modern and hip, if you like art and cafe culture go here.
