I'm bored of my bag and want to buy a new one, but I can't find any real justification because my current one is pretty GOAT. Perfect size for carry on, barely fits in overhead but fits. Carries all my shit. 45L. Help convince me mine is shit and suggest a new one?

No, you've got a great bag that works well for your needs. Hang on to that shit.

How can you be bored of a great backpack? I'm proud of my seven year old backpack because it's still in good condition even after following me around the world
I have one of these, an Osprey Waypoint 65 - 45L backpack and 20L daypack. Awful when combined like in the pic, but amazing when separated with the 20L worn in front.
It's discontinued and hard to find now, because Osprey is pushing their shittier Farpoint series. But I ended up finding one in a random shop in Thailand and have been traveling with it for 15 months now.
Has a suspension system like a regular backpacking backpack, the sides of it are partially rigid so you can keep it open like a suitcase easily, and the daypack is pretty amazing for lots of reasons.
A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush. Keep the one you have. You even said it's great, and the replacement might be really mediocre.
