The Denver Center for the Performing Arts (DCPA) is pretty rad if you're into theater or classical music. The Denver art museum has a decent variety and isn't too expensive. Tattered Cover is a sizable bookstore worth checking out.

That's all I've got anon. I live south of Denver and don't spend too much time in the city.

If you don't mind driving about 2 hours both ways, Rocky Mountain National Park is amazing. Also there is awesome hiking, rafting, horse back riding, etc. into the mountains. Denver is right before the mountains. Just be careful with altitude sickness! If you do too much physical activity, you can get really nasty sick on the first few days.

Also, weed is legal here, but you gotta get a "420 friendly" hotel or you can't smoke there. But you can still get in trouble with weed on National Parks for having weed because it's still Federally illegal.
