Serious question. How do I become a Buddhist monk in Nepal? Specifically in Nepal though.

True, but there is a huge Buddhist minority there, mostly of Tibetan descent. There's also been a small resurgence of Newari Buddhists, and an even smaller Theravadin missionary movement.
To OP, the Kopan (Tibetan) monastery outside of Kathmandu gives courses to foreign students. Quite a lot of practitioners cluster around Lumbhini, too, the purported birthplace of Siddhartha Gotama. But to actually ordain as a monk you should already be a pretty serious student of Tibetan Buddhism. Go, take some courses, see how well it works for you. If it seems like your calling, opportunities will present themselves through the sangha. But no monastery that isn't taking your money for a meditation course is going to take a casual Western newbie very seriously. You must already have demonstrated a commitment.

Nepali here, lots of Hindus adopt Buddhist practices and are pretty much half "buddhist". My parents are the same. Some Buddhist identify as Hindu first, some hindus identify as Buddhist. It's kinda weird and cool at the same time.
