I'm in Maui. What do? Kipahulu Falls and Haleakala Crater, Road to Hana--check. What do, /trv/?

The road to Hana in Maui is beautiful, but the driver gets gipped since they have to focus on the road.

Would backpacking in molokai or lanai be a bad idea? I guess I'm most worried about running into locals in the middle of the forest and getting my ass kicked.

Op here leaving maui now there is very nice views on road 380 but it is has alot of switchbacks, also a few trails and a hidden black sand beach

Op here again a also recommend getting a boat to go whale watch or snorkeling saw about 5 whales and a group of bottlenose dolphins, also got to swim with some sea turtles
