Hello everyone.

I am about to start a McDonalds world tour.
I am going to eat the full money of McDonalds in the following countries for the next 2 months.

Australia
Indonesia
Singapore
Malaysia
Philippines
Japan
China
Thailand
India
SriLanka
Israel
Turkey
Greece
Croatia
Italy
Germany
France
UK
Ireland
Spain

Before I head home to USA.
Is there anything you could advise me of beforehand?
Is McDonalds vaguely similar between all countries?

I am starting in Australia and will take photos and post here of every restaurant I eat at over the next 2 months.
>>
>Before I head home to USA.
What a surprise

Oh shut up, McDonalds is the worlds most expansive restaurant chain for a reason.
>>
food threads are good

like that australian that flew to go to an indian buffet for a dish

M8.

I support the OP. I'd be interested in seeing this. When I went to Singapore they had this spicy chicken sandwich that was the best thing I've ever had at McDonalds. I'm glad it's not available here because I'd get it all the time. Thailand also had some rice dishes if I recall correctly which seemed dope and they deliver too.
>>
>>1186852
>Is there anything you could advise me of beforehand?

There are cheaper ways to kill yourself.
>>
>>1186852

The beef tastes different, as its sourced from Australia, I believe.

I've eaten at a lot of asian ones the quality is good, for a quick bite.
>>
>>1186863

Hmmm...I'm an American that flew to Aus 3x to eat a big brekkie at Una's in King's Cross, Sydney (and for VB, lol)
>>
Rice with fried chicken and chili sauce is common at the McDonalds in Indonesia. The food is all halal too.
>>
>>1186852
I ate some sort of pork patty on a burger in Thailand at McDonald's

For me, it is the McChicken, the best fast food sandwich.
>>
In India they have no beef burgers. Only chicken and fish.

americans are the world's most expansive people
>>
>>1187021
The beef tastes different here because we have very strict laws against water-logging meats. That's when they inject water into the patties to make them heavier; because they're sold by weight.

I had a really hard time eating stuff like McDonald's and other fast foods in America because everything seemed vaguely.. Slimy. Wendy's was the only place with decent chicken.

>I also bought airport sushi that had a threadworm on it.
>>
>>1188228

They don't inject water in the states either. I believe its because a lot of us beef is corn fed versus grass grazed beef. It has nothing to do with water.
>>
>>1188228
Besides if the water was injected into the pattie, wouldn't it be cooked out during cooking?

Turkish guy here, so here is some info:
>no pork (you can get it but not in mcdonalds)
>it's expensive here (big mac is 3 USD more or less)
>try specials (some stuff is based on turkish recipes)
>it's hard to find english speakers in those restaurants (uneducated people work there)
Ask more if you want.

It is very good m8

>>1186852
Just went to Malta, they had a cheeseburger with peppery sauce for 1.50 euro however can't find any info on it.
>>
I think you can still get the McSpaghetti in the Philippines.
>>
>>1189234
>It is very good m8

How?

You're just placing an affront to edible materials that is inexplicably called food between two buns of bread.
>>
>>1189239
The first bite is a journey into the unknown. Is it bun? What's this crust? Do I even like the feeling of this?
Then you continue by thrusting your teeth through this unknown combination of structures and a creamy goodness comes out and fills your mouth. The first bite might be too hot, but together with the delightful sauce it just tastes good.
Like a child sucking his moms tit for the first time, you just want to taste the new flavour again and you proceed by eating the whole burger.

After eaten it you may still not really know what you experienced, but unconsciously you want more of it.
>>
>>1188735
Did you clean up that turd I grunted out into the hand washing basin?
>>
>>1189189

Germany will probably have the Big Rösti again this January, the best German seasonal burger (other countries might have them now too)

Otherwise there is currently a thread on /ck/ about regional MC Donald's menus

Don't expect portions to be anywhere near the size as USA well UK and Ireland I know for sure.

>>

I've had real rösti. It's great. Why the fuck don't they offer that in the states?
>>
>>1186852
>travels
>eats at mc Donalds

It's usually my "safe" joker, I only eat there when I'm unsure about the rest and cannot afford to be sick the day after. But eating there more than necessary is just stupid.

This anon knows what's up. It's safe, it's cheap. That's the only time I bother, especially when I'm somewhere I could be trying something new.

Fairly optimistic the McDonalds will do that itself anon

they used to have the McOz that was great (A McFeast with picked beetroot). Now they have Angus burgers I think which are juicer than the standard
>Singapore
spicy chicken burger
>Philippines
DON'T TRY THE MCDO
>China
they have rice porridge I'll never try. The burgers are stale
>India
Maharaja Burger yes!
>SriLanka
I didn't see a McDolans there but I only spent a day in Columbo

no cheeseburger because religion

>Israel

In Tel Aviv we do have cheeseburgers..

I can only speak for my country, go to a non kosher McDonald's, it will be better, though McDonald's does suck here, especially the ''big america'' burger.
>>
>>1186852
Way ahead of you

I've had mcdonald's in 13 of your listed countries
>>
I'm taking the bait
>Italy
>McCafe near Trevino fountain
>looks like a tiny cafe, but you have to go to the back and up a small walkway
>you'll come upon a huge McDonald's
>touch screen order
>beer tastes like shit
I don't know why I expected better
>all fries are thin fries and extra thin fries
Pretty terrible fries
>Big Mac
Not special
>pay at the line and eat at a table
>lots of nicely dressed thieves at McDonald's
Idk why, be careful
>>
>>1190848
The McDo is garbage. The spaghetti is bland but tolerable. Shake shake fries are where it's at in the Philippines.
>>
i've been to mcdonalds in ukraine and holy shit is it a sight to see

you would expect to see fat people, but it's a bunch of skinny hot girls, i didn't see any fat people and the food was better than in america imo, plus it's considered a luxury there i think fucking slavs
>>
>>1186852
Cool idea. I myself plan on eating a big mac in each of the 50 states.

I haven't started yet because I'm figuring out what the best way to document it will be.

OP you are what is wrong with tourists
>>
Traveling around the world to eat in McD is still less retarded and more entertaining than travelling to "find yourself" and such.
>>
Thailand has triple cheeseburgers and Singapore has sweet potato fries, both incredible
>>
>>1191373
>In Tel Aviv we do have cheeseburgers..
I must have been at a kosher one then. Who visits the non-kosher one though? Heathens?

german here, are you going to Berlin? Would be fun to meet up
>>

Leave him alone, its a great holiday. Travel is meant to be fun, and he's obviously into it, so good on him.
