Africa has a lack of jobs as it is and thus basically all of the lower kind of unskilled work is taken up by locals.

If you were in the military or had special skills you could maybe get a job in the security industry, but you would need to be pretty damn skilled as local workers are much cheaper to pay than some westerner, also a lot less to pay to the family if your wounded/killed.

You best chance is to maybe go with one of those volunteer companies that are everywhere online, although its mainly symbolic work and the choice of countries are very limited to the 'nicer' african countries.

If you have a job there you can expect local salaries.. like 50 to 100 dollar per month.

The best way is to have reliable connections there..

Also if you are white you can often forget about getting a job there. As they won´t hire outsiders or even people from outside their own tribe, let alone white foreigners.

furthermore why do think Africa is poor? As there are very little businesses and work. In some countries 50 % of the people are unemployed.

They often ask people for South Sudan in the oil industry... it pays very well but it´s more dangerous than Iraq there at the moment.. with bombings and shoot outs frequently occuring... not even talking about things like landmines and dangerous diseases roaming around.

What a weird map. The lack of South Sudan can be forgiven since that only happened less than a decade ago, but the two things I greentexted are mutually exclusive.
