I would go on my trip, but I would not be anywhere dense like a crowd, holiday, concert, the kind of thing there are more people than security. I would use hotel taxis, and not slum it too much, you know? If I was alone, I might consider going up a star or two in my hotel selections, or rent a car and stay outside city centers and away from other tourists (really places immigrants see opportunities/jobs).
