Housesteads (Vindolanda) is up to the north on Hadrian''s Wall, but get up there if you can.

Stuff at Bath is worth seeing but pretty "revised and extended" in later eras. Still, worth seeing.

Avebury, near Stonehenge is a larger monument without lintels, with several circles and long avenues -- the attraction there is that, unlike Stonehenge anymore, you can wander amongst the stones. A small village is built partially across the old monument, which is interesting if that sort of thing interests you -- you can see bits of some of the old standing stones built into some of the local architecture.

All of which you likely already know, if you are interested in this stuff at all.

There are tours you can take that allow you to go inside Stonehenge and touch the stones after hours. I did it about 8 years ago and it's definitely worth it if you're interested in history. It was in summer about 8pm and the sun was going down so it was very nice.

If you want to visit places like the stones just keep in mind most of the stuff you will have to bare the cold/rain

If this is still true, it would be worth doing. I was there too many years ago to think about, and on Thursdays they were letting people just walk in and around like they used to do WAY back when. It was a great day.
