What historical sites would you recommend visiting. Battlefields/museums that kind of stuff. Preferably in Europe.
Also places like Pompeii, the Coleseum and the Pyramids are kinda obvious

The medivial cathedrals in Germany and Francy are always rather impressive, especially those where you can climp up their towers like the famous Sacre Coeur in Paris.
Speaking of Paris: The Catacombs.

I actually had the chance to climb it a few years ago on a school trip. We were dropped off at it and given an hour to do what we want and I assumed we'd come back and climb it as a group. Never happened. Still mad with myself
Definitely wanna see the catacombs tho
Shameless bump

Hadrian's Wall. It's not impressive to look at, but if you think about what it meant to represent, how fucking long ago it was, the logistics behind manning it, it's great.
The Vatican, of course.
WWI gravesites are impressive. If you are ever around Ieper, go on a tour of the battlesites. Fun fact: farmers are still rooting up junk from the War, and you're more than welcome to take it away.

In Europe:
Parts of the atlantic wall are more or less intact. It goes down from norway to france. Unfortunately most of them aren't really "marked" and you'll have to find them yourself. There is a museum for it in Oostende though.
Scapa Flow is worth a visit, especially if you're a diver.
Laboe has a accessible WW2 U-Boot.
Outside europe:
-Truk and Rabaul not only for their military history but also for wonderful diving destinations.
-Honiara. Actually all of the Solomons. Quite a few divable wrecks and you can just wander off into the jungles and find abandoned military equipment aswell.
Bikini Atoll for the most beautiful diving location in the world. Especially Nagato and Prinz Eugen.
