Has somebody had experience with working with the cannabis harvest in California?
How is it for non-Americans?
Is it worthwhile?
I'm not so much after the money, it would be sufficient if the stay was self-sustaining
Depends on what you want to do. If you want to be a trimmer, you will start off around $12-15 an hour, which depending where you live, isn't much in California. It is a tedious job. People envision it's just sitting around all day 420blazin it but that's far from the truth. It's just like any other job. Would you like to work on a farm? Because that is what it is.

actually yeah, I would like that.
if it isn't like cotton picking in the south.
is it possible to work just as a tourist or do you need any special visa for that?

You have to have a medical card, or at least everywhere I know of, you have to have one.

what's that?
Due to the quasi-legality of cannabis, there is opportunity for you to do it under the table.

You pay a sleazy doctor to give you one basically so that you can legally buy and smoke weed. You go in and tell them your back hurts and they'll prescribe you pot. It is the dumbest system ever. It should just be legal
