Don't go London my homeboy, everything's too cutthroat and expensive, luckily Brighton is honestly one of the best places to be if you're a young, carefree dude from another country, it's chill as fuck, cool party scene and just a nice looking place, the south of England is the best part (Kent bro checking in), so maybe try spareroom.com, youll struggle to just come over without being able to pay rent and bills and food and stuff, so make sure you got some P before you come over as you might not be able to get a job that quick unless you have specific skills and education at degree level.

Nah mate London is a tiny city with around 10 million people working in it, around 7million of those live there, commuting is a nightmare, in some cases food/drink/everything costs over double than elsewhere in the country, rent is ridiculous, again almost double than in places like Brighton, plus I personally found London to be far less accommodating and more of a business only type deal.

Come to the south, love the south, the south will love you, just ignore anybody wearing Lonsdale.

From Brighton you can travel to London easily, so you can see the historical sights, museums etc on weekends. Plus you can have a night out in London & stay in a hostel (works quite well), and get back no problems.
