Where should I stay in Nashville to be close to the good stuff? I'm heading out there for a full week with my old college roommate, and in the last three days we're staying in a shared house for a friend's bachelor party weekend.
We're going to rent a car but would like to be close enough to great places to party without having to spend a lot on cabs and such.
What areas should I look at? I want somewhere decent but don't want to spend more than $200 a night if possible. Also, can't miss things to eat/see?

Broadway isn't my thing, it's where everyone from the south goes to smoke cigs and wear cowboy boots. I've heard there are good bars off broadway nearby Vandy though.
There is a kickass music scene off broadway though. You typically have to know people. I saw a great indie folk show in a guy's stuffed living room in Nashville. Must have had 60ish people in there.
Bump, slow board.
Also, where do I get the best Pokemon? Hah.
