I'm working in Toronto for the summer before finishing grad school in the states. My roommates here are pleasant enough, but they have their own lives going, so I don't have a ton of interaction with them.
How does /trv/ go about meeting people in a new city? Meet-up websites? Online dating?

Forgot to answer your question: I honestly just go out. My friends are all working 9 to 5s and not that wild so sometimes I'll ditch them and just go downtown by myself. You end up meeting a bunch of people by the end of the night. I've done that a couple of times since I got back from traveling and I sort of like it to be honest. When I'm with my friends theyre always ready to pass out by 2am tops and I always want to keep going so it really just makes sense.
I've been meaning to check out one of the only few hostels with a bar in Toronto too once summer is in full swing.
I think it's such an easy city to meet people in but the relationships are very superficial (which is generally the case in North America).
