Splicing genes isn't guaranteed to produce any sensible results at least with our current understanding of what does what in genetics.
Using the same method that was used to grow human organs inside pigs to grow an animal that's human from the neck down seems tempting but differing skeletal structure will cause serious problems with that idea.
Taking a human embryo and altering the expression of their genes to create pseudo furries wouldn't be as difficult as splicing but would still require far more knowledge about genetics and also comes with whole host of ethical issues.
Taking and animal embryo as base and getting it to express more human characteristics could be even easier depending on how humanoid you want the end result to be and would carry less ethical issues (hell ownership might even be plausible there) but would of course produce a fairly unintelligent anthro, though for some that might be a good thing.

You're a bit inconsistent with capitals and punctuation. Keep an eye out for that.

Past that, my only tip is to never stop writing because you feel like the current chapter/update 'feels too long.' Write until you've drained every last drop out of the scene you're working on, sleep on it, then come back around and trim off the fat.

I like it so far, but I've always been a sucker for powerful and/or tough women.

If you want to make this a quick fapfic for a few, then rush it. ..I'd rather you didn't, though!
Take your time (as the other anon pointed out), and stretch things out, filling out the scenes. Stories like these benefit immensely from more fleshe-out and relatable descriptions and characterizations.

As far as plot-specific suggestions go, I suggest you give Anon a "strength" (not necessarily physical that makes him interesting. Maybe this strong side makes her resent him at first, or maybe it's something that makes him weirdly interesting to her (e.g. showing her that the modern world really is about a -whole- lot more than punching bags and the occasional contestant).

Or you could make Anon actively try playing hard to get (and succeeding like a grand master), and this leading to the wolfess growing more and more desperate.

No matter what, though, read through your own stuff before posting (sleeping/waiting before doing so is a great tool too, as the other anon mentioned). Then get a feel for the flow and tone of the story and see if you need to trim away or change some things.
