It's being worked on, the only solid facts are that she can't speak, but she isn't really a dumb beast. She can communicate if she puts her mind to it, and she has decent problem solving skills.

I'm debating on weather or not she's an antagonistic monster who's essentially someone else's servant, or if she's a gentle giant who's too big and loud to mingle with the smaller monsters on her island.

What I decide on also determines weather or not she was always like this or if she was made this way by someone else.

If Stories is anything to go by, everything comes in an egg. Though I'd take that with a grain of salt, it's still more credible than the monster ecology articles on the Wikia, which are almost if not all fan-fiction. Very artistic) If I were you, I'd do away with some of the guide-shapes in favour of "chancing" more bold lines directly. Linework depends heavily on practicing in quantity, so this will help out in that regard (as well as helping your mind make the shortcut from rough guide-shape to final contour/line. ..with fewer and fewer intermediate steps as you get better).

Difficulty certainly (especially where believable weight is concerned), but more so than that I think is the shear absurdity of man hours even for the most professional of animators it takes to get just seconds of footage that never gets truly appreciated. Not that its a secret or anything, but when it takes a week+ straight for a particularly annoying shot to only get 2 seconds done at the end of it, it's amazing there's any sort of business around it at all.

I think I spent most of the day trying to figure out what I was doing wrong when it came to drawing raptors, and then I spent probably around six hours just trying to make the one I had uploaded earlier look a little bit presentable, but I am somewhat content with the end result, but I think if I keep using anatomy with my raptors they should improve more over time.
