>Do a pretty good job at it being a knight
>One day, while in battle, everything goes to shit when the enemy gets surprise reinforcements
>Get forced back into the keep, stopping every ten feet to defend myself and my comrades
>Losing men one by one
>Last one alive
>Get chased into the dining hall
>Countless foes behind me, barricade myself in the kitchen to buy myself time to steel myself, and pray to God for protection
>Suddenly shouting from the other side of the door
>Lots of shouting
>I'm pretty sure you hear a couple people yelling "DEMON!" and "BEAST!" out there
>Gradually it becomes less shouting and more screams of terror over the din of metal, bones, and the wooden furniture of the dining hall being crunched and crushed
>Eventually the screams go still and the dining hall beyond the barricaded door go silent
>Then footsteps. Heavy footsteps, approaching the door.
>I ready my blade; no doubt whatever is on the other side slaughtered my pursuers. It is likely not satisfied with such an act.
>The heavy door shatters with terrifying ease, chunks of wood flying into the room before a very bored and even tired looking...beast walks into the room.

>She the size of a man and a half, and has just as much muscle as even the strongest warriors I've ever seen. Blood soaks her hands, up to the elbow on one of her arms even.
>Once I've recovered from the shock of her sheer size, I was assaulted by her unholy form.
>She looks at me, her body bare save for the occasional jeweled trinket adorning her limbs.
>Praying to my lord to protect me from her unholy temptations, no doubt caused by some wicked spell, I ready myself for what comes next.
>"You...you're no witch. Or at least, you're fairly armored for one. Where is the witch named Gwyndil?"
>Her words somehow hover in the air, hazy sounding and slow creeping into my ears. It takes an uncomfortable amount of time to parse her odd voice before I understand what she has said.
>I'm racking my brain for a Gwyndil, and all that comes to mind is my soft speaking grandmother, who had long past when I was a child. Surely, she was no witch. The paladins would have detected her back when father was knighted himself, as they were mere feet from our family during the ceremony.
>"Speak, human. I seek the witch Gwyndil. Does she still live?" Once again, her clouded words fill the air, hanging as my ears as I struggle to brush away the haze of her voice.
>Finding my own voice, I become keenly aware of how dry my throat as become. "Gwyndil Rackor died many years ago," I finally speak up. Realizing that if I stop here, I may falter, so I take a step forward, pointing the tip of my blade at the demon, "And she was no witch, demon! In the name of the Lord and for sullying my family name, fall by my blade!"
>I rush the blood covered she-demon, only for her to almost casually slap at my sword. Rather than simply redirect the attack, she shatters my weapon, rendering it useless in my hand. Before I can adjust, her soaked palm comes forward, and as the air in my lungs leave me, my back finds the stone wall behind me.
>>
Cute
>>
>>9755968
>While I'm keeled over stunned, I can see the demon's hand perched at her chin as she considers whatever dark thoughts go through the mind of such a beast.
>Grabbing my broken weapon, I manage to pull myself up slightly, still coughing as I use my free hand to push myself off of ground. When I look back up to the demon, she's stepping towards me. I can't read the expression on her cursed face.
>Still, I try to get into a fighting stance. Doing my best to stand up straight, she ignores it as once again I feel a heavy palm on my chest. Instead of slamming me back, she's lifting me up.
>Back to the wall once more, but this time she's holding me there. It gives me a chance to find my legs again, at least.
>I have to look up. Both to avert my gaze from her naked chest, and to make eye contact with her pointed face. There is a grin on her face, and her lips open to speak, "Who is Gwyndil the witch to you, knight?"
>"I have nothing to say to abominations. Kill me and be done with it!" It sounded full of bravado in my head, but I can hear the shaking in my voice. She reeks of sulfur and the metallic tinge of blood.
>"You have the witch's hair, knight. Are you her child, perhaps?" She pays no mind to what I've said, but relents her grip. Despite standing on my own again, I'm still trapped against the wall.
>The kitchen oven blocks me to one side, and the beast's arm is propped against the wall on the other. She's waiting for an answer, but I'm not sure what to tell her. I expected death, and she only asks questions.
>"Gwyndil Rackor is my grandmother. What of it?" It's hard to breath with her looming over me, and only slightly easier to speak. I try not to inhale through my nose, but she's so close her tainted scent creeps in regardless.
>My question goes ignored as she leans back, once again thinking to herself as she stares into the stone wall above me, as if looking past it.
(Sorry for delay, got distracted a bit. Gonna finish this and turn in)
>>
>>9756292
>"The witch's first born. How did they die, knight?" Her attention snaps back to me, red eyes intense as she stares. It was if the answer to her question was written on my skin with how focused she was on me.
>Parsing her words takes even longer this time, as I'm trying to listen for noise of the continuing battle. If our forces rallied, then surely someone would come rescue me. Otherwise, if we were routed, it would only be a matter of time before another group of men would find this demon and I in the middle of their looting. That also means I'm the last of our battalion still inside the keep.
>Either fate would no doubt end in bloodshed; this demon casually cut her way through at least two dozen men, and looked none the worse for wear. I doubt her interest in me would extend to anyone who found us here.
>There is a crunch next to my ear before the dull clattering of stone hitting the floor. Looking to my side, her claws have dug into the wall, and when I look to her face I can see her growing impatient from the time I wasted thinking.
>"My father...my father died of disease three years ago. The illness took him in his sleep." Once I've said my piece, I become tight lipped. Once again she looks away, deep in her own thoughts while idly keeping me trapped.
>It's hard to keep track of time. Between how her voice distorts itself in my ears, and the lack of any candles or ways to see the open skies, I'm having trouble telling how long she has been silent.
>"So," the demon finally speaks up, "The witch passed peacefully, and so does her child." I grit my teeth as she once again accuses my grandmother of witchcraft, but swallow my pointless anger instead. I am at her complete mercy. To struggle and fight would only ensure a pointless death.
>>
>>9756544
>Crimson eyes find mine once again. There is a smirk on her lips. "First born of a first born," she speaks, and somehow her voice is different. It's not hazy, and it's almost as if her words as passing my ears and stepping directly into my mind. Yet I can see her jagged teeth as her lips move with each syllable.
>"Descendant of the witch Gwyndil." Not once have I ever referred to myself or been referred to as my grandmother's descendant, but as she speaks it, it feels as if she is using a title that could only describe me.
>"By the pact sown with your ancestor's deeds, I have been summoned in your hour of need. With Hell's fire, your enemies shall suffer. With Hell's fury, they shall be broken. With Hell's might, they will fall." There is no cloudiness in her words as they ring into my head. It's hard to tell, and it might just be the ache in my skull playing with my vision, but her lips aren't moving in sync with the words she is speaking.
>The whole of my body shakes. Deep within, I feel what can only be my soul shudder. My stomach turns, and I need to vomit. Yet my mouth is dry, and I can't summon even a drop of spit to change that.
>Within moments I feel hot, worse than day's hard labor in the sun. It's inescapable, and under my armor. Even if I stripped, I wouldn't find relief. It's under my skin, and in my lungs. I can't breath, and my body is tensing up. I fall forward as a bloody hand catches me, my shattered sword falls to the floor with a clatter.
>I passed out. I know I did. It's the same sensation as when I took a heavy blow to the head during swordfighting instruction. That tangible, if momentary, blink of lost time.
>I'm on the floor of the kitchen, clawing and crawling like a child as I try to find my coordination. The warmth is still in my chest; nowhere near as bad as what felt like mere moments ago, but too hot to ever ignore. "You awaken." The demon. Still very much real as she looms in the broken door.

>>
>>9756771
>Another thing that is real is the fresh stench of blood. Looking over her again, her hands have a brighter coat of red, droplets dancing off her fingertips and landing on the floor.
>The new addition is what look like crossbow bolts adoring her back, shoulders and chest. She doesn't seem to be bleeding though, and just appears to be stuck like like a horned pin cushion.
>A second party must have arrived, and then was promptly cut down. Whether they were my allies or not isn't something I tell from the floor of the kitchen. With a grunt, I find my hands and arms before working out how to push myself up to a seated position.
>"Honestly, I thought you were lost. You faded in and out a few times. But you stuck through it. Good; it would have been boring if you died from the bonding ceremony." Her voice still has a hiss to it, but the haziness and surreal delay that made it difficult to listen to is gone. In fact, her words came through crystal clear.
>"What, what did you do?" I pant, exhausted just from getting off of the ground. I lean back against the wall, and the smell of damp stone reminds me that this lingering scent of sulfur isn't normal.
>"I initiated the bond between us, pact holder." She says it so matter-of-factly, as if I should understand the workings of demon. I roll my head to the side, staring at the broken pieces of my weapon before back at her.
>My exhaustion and confusion must be painted on my face, as I could swear I saw the she-beast roll her eyes in annoyance. "The witch Gwyndil made a pact with the burning depths for protection. In case of danger and her life was threatened, I would be summoned to aid and protect her, before bonding to complete the ritual. Why, I do not know, and she has taken the reason to the grave."
>>
>>9756934
>I'm honestly too drained to argue about the idea of my quiet grandmother working with dark forces. It didn't help at the moment it seemed like this demon had a better idea of what was going on than I did. "So why ask of my father?"
>"The pact Gwyndil made was thorough. If she didn't use it, someone else would. So the ownership was passed to her first born when she died." She taps her chin with a bloody finger, crossing her arms slightly while paying no mind to the crossbow bolts decorating her body. I could swear I was detecting feelings of disappoint, but I'm certain it's just the...pain or whatever this ache is in my chest.
>"Except her first born died in a way that my assistance would have helped. He was in no danger, so the pact did not call for me in his last moments." I suppose she is right; father was an instructor in the last years of his life. He lived rather safely, even if succumbing to his illness was tragic.
>"So..." As I speak up, she looks down at me almost expectantly, "Since I'm my father's first born, I get the pact. And...earlier, I was running for my life from certain death. Which means..." There is a grin on her fanged face as she steps down into the kitchen, closer to me.
>"I have been called. Through me, Hell's strength is yours." She coolly explains, as if that had been obvious from the start. Every foot step brings her closer, and the hair on the back of my neck is standing up. My body screams its desire to move, but it lacks the ability to do so.
>Anxiously swallowing as she closes in, I kick my feet and press back against the wall in some pointless attempt to create space. "If I have Hell's strength, then the paladins will kill me. And they'll purify my family." Two days ago, I thought nothing of purifying the families of heretics and cultists. Now, I am filled with terror at the thought of my mother's screams filling the dungeons of a church.
>>
>>9757010
>As if sensing my worry, she bends down to look me in the eyes, face to face. A crimson stained finger is pressed under my chin to keep my attention, "Then we shall kill the paladins. And when more enemies rise against you, we will crush them as well. Such is our might."
>Her eyes drilled into me, but I could tell she wasn't attempting to deceive. If the paladins did come after me, then we could cut them down. Wait, where is this 'we' coming from? Why is she acting as if we were a pair?
>"What do you mean, 'our' might? You're the demon, not me. I'm just a man." She huffed in my face, the side of her lips turning to a grin. At the same time, the heat in my chest intensified, causing me to cough in some vain attempt to breath and let out the heat.
>"Pactbearer, we are connected. To say my strength is yours is no exaggeration. My magic can be cast by your own hand, my might wielded by your own fist." Her finger drags down under my chin, painting it with a line of blood before drawing it back up.
>She went tight lipped, and as she continued, I realized she wasn't actually speaking. "Our minds will forever know the other. With your call, I will appear. With my vigilance, none shall surprise us." Like with earlier, she was talking directly to me.
>In that instant, I immediately felt an odd ache in the back of my head, like a formless weight was pushed into my skull that made it difficult to look around. "My eyes are yours, and yours, mine to see with." She continued, but not before standing up just slightly enough to put her chest in my face.
>>
>>9757134
>I had seen the breasts of whores, and they could not compare to this demon. If they were on a human woman, then he could see the sisters of fertility inducting such a person with haste. Massive, yet when on a frame as large as hers, they merely seemed to fit. If she was scaled down, I would call them average. Yet she was anything but average as she displayed herself.
>There was a multitude of thoughts in my head, none of them holy except the reflex to immediately pray for purity in the face of such a lewd showing. Muttering to myself in whispers, I heard a laugh. Not from above me, but in my mind. Why was I amused? This isn't funny. This is Hell's sweetest temptation.
>"Our hearts are one. What you feel, so shall I. What I burn for will ache within you." Then she knew of the lurid emotions that were testing me, that she forced upon me. "Pactbearer, none shall know you as I know you. We are strangers no longer, but of one soul."
>Reaching down, her hand grabbed the chest piece of my armor, and I was effortlessly brought up to my feet. The weight of her in my mind eased, and she once again stood with crossed arms in front of me, as if giving me one last look over.
>"I am your blade. Through me, armies will fall at your hand. You are my wings. Through you, I travel this realm. My name is Sha'var'o the Insatiable. I am your demon, Pactbearer. And you, you are my human."

My experience so far with the game does not make me feel like it is SJW. There might be parts that an SJW would like, like the fact the main character is bi, and she has two gay friends, but it does not really feel preachy in the sense you would expect an SJW game to be. The gay characters aren't really treated as anything special, just a couple that happens to be two guys. No one makes a big deal about it. The characters are treated as being flawed. It's clear that mae doesn't really have her shit together and can be insensitive. Gregg (the gay guy) is reckless, and Mae actually follows along with his terrible ideas, which ends up with her being fried by electricity. The straight (as far as I can tell) Bea actually calls Mae out on some of the shit that she does.

I can see some parts that an SJW would like, but the game itself is good in my opinion. The fanbase can be crap at times, but most fanbases are. Perhaps check out a short walkthrough, and see what you think.

Glad people like it. I really had only meant to do a maybe two post green on it, but it kind of grew a life of its own.

I was halfway into another chapter of Femme Fatale, saw the picture and decided, "Ha, I'll throw a quick post together about a knight who's stuck with a demon."

And then yeah.

J-jesus christ.. How come I haven't realized this before. ..to think that canine anthros were already my favourite.
Bloody hell, I'll never be able to not think about this now
>>
>>9764167
Okay fine.
Dogs like sniffing the area that has the greatest concentration of an individual's scent which happens to be their butt.
Or you could just say dogs like sniffing butts.
>>
>>9764167
Of course it's where their scent glands are located with each having their own individual scent emitting from them. They also uses them to mark their territory which is why dogs rub their butts on everything. Would anthro canines even have anal scent glands if other anthros keep their scent glands (like the ones on their face) and if so would they get descented?
>>
>>9764024
>>9764871
>>9764887
My logic there was dogs have to clean themselves orally, so would vestigal instincts to that end crop up in anthro canines? Physically, they aren't capable of contorting to that degree, but they still feel a base cumpulsion to lick and clean that spot, which, combined with what you guys have pointed out, could manifest as a fetishistic desire to orally clean their partner's anus. Doubly so with human partners as they get to bury their nose in their lovers genitals and drown in their scent.

Quick, what's a quirk of humans that an anthro would find interesting? Something that wouldn't be found in most anthros and would be referred as 'that weird thing that makes humans act funny.'

Perhaps humans have things backwards. Maybe it's like an inside joke for humans. Maybe we are happiest when threatening people. A lot of possible interpretations.

How many kissing species are out there? I don't imagine in a world of muzzles the act of making out isn't the norm, meanwhile humans consider it a basic part of affection. Plus, human lips are some of the more sensitive areas to touch.
>>
>>9765548
Horses and giraffes have even more dexterous lips and can be quite human-like aside from size. Licking the inside of another's mouth is a thing in some species and usually a younger/lower pack member trying to get food/affection. Wolves actually lick the front teeth of pack members has a sort of greeting/bonding.

Prairie dogs are a species that kisses each other as a greeting. Thinking about it wonder if anthros would lick each other as an interment greeting rather than kissing.
>>
>>9765681
>>9765608
Hmm, then maybe humans are a bit more touch sensitive/inclined than anthros, perhaps? I'm just trying to think of something that gossip magazines would recommend doing for fun with their human partner.

Something actually fun though, not Cosmo tier "Cup his balls and then shake wildly like you were panning for fucking gold"
>>
>>9765681
>go over to anthro prairie dog friend's house
>every new member of their family you meet grabs your head and kisses you
>from dad, mom, sisters, brothers, etc
>remember prairie dogs have large families

Seriously though, sometimes Cosmo releases tips "to spice up the bedroom and your love life" that can basically be summarized as "torture his junk with good intentions."

Cuddling would be the main thing since we have no fur and every single human likes the feel of fur. Humans would come off has really sensitive to touch compared to anthros and we are a very tactile species. The sort of extra fun/kinky tricks an anthro could do for their human partner would be species specific stuff. Species with long tongues using them in various ways, prehensile tail shenanigans, water fun with aquatic/semi-aquatic species, purring while cuddling/blowjobs, etc.

Humans really don't have that much hair except on their heads, crotches, and arm pits. Does that count?

Here is an interesting human fact. Humans are actually considered one of the smelliest animals in the world and unlike other animals that only emit their scent from their anal glands and any other scent gland on their body humans emit their scent from all over the bare skin of their body. There are even some theories that suggested our ancestors smelling terribly is what keep us from being eaten by predators. Sure you may not notice it now a days but that's because we use so many hygiene products to remove or mask the smell and if you go a day or two without bathing or using them the stench will come back. While with most animals it will take a week or to for their stench to come back. Anyway hope this helps you.

Dogs are rather weird due to just how much we changed them. They run to humans when scared, they stare us in the eyes/we stare them in the eyes with with little issue, and many other instincts pretty much breed into them by humans.
>>
>>9767255
Must be repeating behavior he has seen from you. The grand majority of dogs only bare their teeth when angry.

>>

I've only seen my dog do that twice, and she'd only do it with my grandpa around. He was always freaked out by it.
She'd bare her teath at me in anger all the time but never do that.

The idea of a furry tail rubbing against my urethra makes me hella uncomfortable.

>>

Makes sense actually, anyone ever encounter someone who didn't put deodorant on or hasn't had a bath/shower in a while and whenever they raise their arms or stand up their BO permeates the entire room. Sometimes if it's bad enough they don't even have to move around or lift their arms to spread the smell. So I guess anthros not having sweat glands all over their body like humans would be a good thing although would they still have the scent glands in the armpits like humans?

Can you actually get your dick licked/sucked too long? Would it get raw or anything?
>>
>>9770070
Men have a soft-cap of amount of orgasms within a certain amount of time (as in, after a certain point, every orgasm after that gets progressively more and more difficult to reach), and after a certain amount of back to back orgasms with little to no rest, each orgasm onward from that point WILL be painful for a variety of reasons. Plus erect is not the natural state for the tissue that make up a dick, and after a point it can become sore/strained like any other muscle.

So, technically, you could get your dick sucked for two hours. However, you will wish you no longer had a dick at that point. You can jog, sprint, walk, however you want to get off. Just don't run back to back marathons. Give yourself a break, your dick will thank you.

kinda counts?
>>
>You usually hate red lights. You tend to like to to get to point B, then to point C, and repeat until it was time to head home.
>Now, you’re grateful for every one that you hit. It’s time to think about your next move, like whether or not you should just pawn off your valuables, stuff your backpack full of clothes, and go on craigslist to see if someone would be willing to trade a decent motorcycle for your beater before sundown.
>A new life as a bike riding vagabond sounds like a safer option that becoming your landlord’s boyfriend. Even if it was only until after that one party, you’re not sure you’ll survive the cumulative trauma up to that point.
>Plus, she said it was fashion to be in a mixed species relationship with a human. How long to fads last? You’re not exactly a good judge on longevity.
>What if she takes a proper liking to you, despite your discomfort? She might find you cute and want to keep you around.
>For a moment you consider having to pick up Ari for a dinner date, the feline dress in some slinky dress sliding into your shitbox of a car. You’re off to some high end restaurant in the shitty suit you got for your aunt’s wedding. All the while an army of her ‘nephews’ see her off with those unimpressed faces of theirs.
>A glimpse into an unending hell of fear, shame, and embarrassment.
>>
>>9772100
>The thought distracts you so long you almost miss a green light. Thankfully, the car behind you reminds you by laying on its horn. With that bit of motivation, you focus on the drive.
>Once in the parking lot of the local grocers, you go over your mental shopping list while snatching a stray shopping cart that was lost in the sea of pavement.
>Same as always: rice, cheap ground beef, half a gallon of milk, beans, a new flavor of hot sauce if there is one you haven’t tried. A jug of orange juice to stave off scurvy in the twenty first century. You think your bag of generic o-shaped cereal is running low, so you’ll consider re-upping on that if budget allows. Bread and lunch meat so you don’t starve at work.
>You drift back to the thought of having to take Ari to dinner. Would she be willing to help you out? She knows you’re broke, thus the courtship by threat of eviction.
>Probably not. She only is bothering with you for the sake of appearances. You half expect her to simply drop of a pile of papers with bullet points to remember this evening, and expect you to study it every night until it was time for the party.
>Moseying through the aisles, you give your driving thoughts a bit more depth. Why you? There has to be a couple dozen single, human guys among all of her tenants. You can’t possibly be the only one having trouble with rent.
>Ari mentioned she was specifically looking for someone middle of the road, but she could definitely do better. You’re like a 7.5 at best when really cleaned up. That’s barely a middling grade on your best day.
>While grabbing a handful of instant ramen to refill your stockpile, you think about what else you can do to delay the inevitable return to your apartment.
>>
>>9772114
>Perhaps visit the library? The idea strikes you while passing the magazine rack near the check out stands. Your eyes roll over what’s on display. Nothing really is sticking out, since it’s the standard grocery store set up of interest magazines.
>Well, there is the small blue pamphlet tucked almost ashamedly in the corner of the rack. Hardly beefier than a tour guide or road map, really. Out of curiosity, you pluck it off the shelf and look it over.
>’Fur & Skin: Cliffnotes Edition - Fun Quirks of Your New Partner.’ Oh, you’ve heard of this series. The go-to guide for anthro and human relations, or so the commercials go whenever your adblocker misses a pre-roll ad on Youtube.
>You’re about to put it back when you realize that you are, in fact, in that boat now. Might as well skim through the pamphlet real quick, just to see what sticks out.
>Skipping over the things that are irrelevant to you, such as the section on avian and canine anthros, you stop at the human section for a moment to see what ‘fun quirks’ you have that are worth mentioning.
>The first thing that is advertised is an insistence on cuddling, and the values of fur on skin contact. It even has a cute tag line: “The more time that is spent with your arms wrapped around your human, the sooner they start shopping for a thinner blanket.”
>After that is a suggestion to keep the hands of a human lover busy, or deny them completely. The last suggestion could be innocuous but this one is downright lurid. “Human hands need to be either playing with something, or wishing they could. Let them explore your body, and maybe invest in some play hand cuffs, pink fuzz optional.”
>Time stood still for a moment as the mental image of Ari standing over you with a gleaming pair of handcuffs in her hand painted itself in your mind. That one eyed stare and smirk as she leans in closer only makes you shudder and gives you goose bumps out of fear.
>>
>>9772140
>Hopefully she wasn’t the kind of person to read these things. The last thing you needed was your terrifying landlord turned girlfriend looking to spice things up in the bedroom.
>You pause for a moment to think about that. Is sex even on the menu in this situation? You’re probably over thinking this; all Ari wants is some mediocre looking arm candy to impress her fellow socialites.
>She didn’t seem hesitant to become intimate though. You unconsciously bring a couple fingers to your lower lip, rubbing on where her teeth were grinding. If only cats weren’t so goddamn difficult to read.
>Well, you’re already here, so you keep flipping through pages to the feline section. The first tip is something you already knew; cats like to be scratched and tended to, but just above the tail will get a real reaction.
>What was next had you making faces at the little blue pamphlet. “Cat spanking?” There is a diagram of a anthro feline, with colored ‘hot spots’ that get the best reaction out of the ridiculous act.
>No. Absolutely not. Never. This is total bullshit, and if it isn’t, Ari would probably have your hands on the chopping block within minutes if you tried. So this is just going to be filed under ‘Completely pointless: not not open.’
>Shaking your head, you put the booklet back onto the magazine rack before pushing your cart towards the checkout lines. It was a nice distraction, but you honestly have nothing else to do today but grocery shopping. Had Ari not sprung her trap on you, all that you planned to do was lounge about, catching up on your shows.
>>
>>9772159
>Instead you’re dreading your own apartment. For a moment you mind pauses, expecting something, but it seems you’ve lost the ability to sigh in despair and exhaustion. Some would call this adapting, others would label it as accepting fate.
>As you pay for your groceries, you wonder what will happen. The beep of your phone’s banking app alerts you of your wheezing bank account, but that’s just background noise at this point. A bigger concern is just how far into this ‘pretend boyfriend’ role you’ll have to go.
>It’s just a pendulum swinging over you at this point. The blade swings back and forth, and you know it’s going to reach you eventually. You just wonder if you’ll get a nick across the neck, or will it drop down and lop off your head when the time comes.
>If it’s just a matter of acting, that’s one thing. You can recite memorized facts and try to stay low key during the party, and maybe you’ll get off easy. One awkward party later, and you and Ari will never speak of the matter again.
>On the other hand, what if she wants to try and foster some sort of genuine relationship? The idea is absurd, since you have a hard time believing a relationship that one party was forced into will work out in anyone’s favor.
>Your mind wanders back to how easily she pulled herself onto you. It was as if she had her sights set on you before she even had a reason, but that’s a ridiculous notion. You’ve seen her, from a distance anyways, over the last three years. The woman didn't take suitors, and she definitely didn't do any courting of her own.
>>
>>9772200
>That ever present smile might as well be painted onto her face, because it does nothing to tell you what she’s thinking. You’ve seen her evict whole families with that smile on her face. Hell, you even heard a rumor that she was smiling like that at her husband’s funeral
>Which is what makes that moment of intimacy so surreal, and why you keep coming back to it. It was an actual show of emotion and affection, not her near unshakable poker face. That went against everything you knew and thought about her.
>You fight over what all this means and whether or not it warrants worrying about it as you pack your groceries into your car. This is happening one way or another. The only thing you don’t know is how Ari intends to accomplish her goal of turning you into a believable boyfriend in time for the party.
>If the clock of your car radio is correct, you have a couple hours of daylight before the sky turns orange. A couple of hours before you sit at the poker table of fate and see how badly the deck is stacked against you.
>You consider your options as you turn out of the parking lot and into the street. This definitely wasn’t the mood to be enjoying any of your hobbies, and you wouldn’t be able to focus on whatever you decide to watch. You need to calm down, and get out of this flustered state of mind.
>By the time you roll into the apartment parking lot, you’ve decided; it was time to take a nap. Sleep away the stress, and even be a little recharged when Ari came over to let you know the score.
>Shouldering the grocery bags like the man who was raised in a one-trip only family you are, you make your way up the stairs. Fumbling to bring your keys up to the lock, you look back and to the side to see if Ari is sneaking up on you while you’re still in the vicinity of the stairs.
>>
>>9772236
>Your head doesn’t even turn all the way before noticing something amiss. Your front window was not open when you left earlier. You distinctly remember this because you’re desperately attempting to keep heat in.
>There is a distinct, almost sweet, earthy smell in the air, but there is a acrid tinge that ends the scent after you inhale. It’s some sort of smoke, alright.
>You pause, loaded down with groceries as you wonder what’s behind door number one. Even if you already have a pretty damn good idea what’s waiting for you, you really wish it wasn’t so. You could have used some time to prepare yourself for this.
>You don’t even unlock the door, and instead just turn the knob. As expected, the knob gives without resistance, unlocked by someone else as you push the door in. Stepping inside your home, there is a golden haired feline waiting for you, good eye watching you lumber into the living room.
>Ari doesn’t say a word, that smirk on her face static as you stare back at her. In her hands is the source of the smell that is filling your apartment; a lit cigar, burning away as she casually kept it pinched between two of her fingers. Thankfully she brought her own ash tray, a bowl made of some wood looking material sitting next to your laptop.
>If this woman was just about anyone else, you would be losing your shit right now. There is so much going on in this moment, like your exhaustion, and you fear for her, that you don’t have the energy to even provide a reaction. You really needed that nap, but it doesn’t look like you’ll be getting it.
>>
>>9772258
>Instead, all you do is frown before turning away and walking over to the kitchen to put away your groceries. Ari speaks first from behind you, “I’m impressed, Anon. I don’t think anyone would be able to keep things running in a situation like this, and here you are, just chugging along.”
>There is a beat of silence as you push the orange juice into the back of the fridge. She’s expecting a response, but you don’t have one for her. At best you look back her direction before grabbing the carton of milk and sliding it next to the juice.
>The quiet beat becomes awkward silence as it hangs in the air. You can feel she wants to have a conversation, but she’s also aware that she holds all the cards. You’re just waiting for her to tell you what’s going to happen. Out of the corner of your eye while putting the cereal into a cabinet, you see her lift the cigar to her mouth.
>A restrained ‘ffuuuuuah’ matches the cloud she exhales, and the scent of cigar becomes a touch stronger. You run out of groceries to put away eventually, and you’re left standing in the kitchen, dragging your feet to the inevitable.
>”Anon. Come, sit.” She commands, switching the hand she’s holding the cigar in to pat at the space next to her on the futon. On the side of her good eye, of course. Wordlessly, you flop down onto the seat, and look over at her. Her blue gaze is already looking into yours, and silence settles into the apartment once again.
>>
>>9772290
>Ari puffs at her cigar again, surprising you when she turns away to vent the smoke towards the empty air of the room instead of right at your face. “You weren’t this exhausted looking an hour ago. Hell, you look like you’re waiting for the hangman.” You suppose that’s just about how you feel.
>You shrug, “I’m tired, Ari. I was going to take a nap until later.” That was the plan, anyways. Then it was interrupted by her using your apartment as her personal smoke room. It’s not like she’s oblivious though, and for a moment the ends of her feline lips curl downwards before bouncing back to the neutral grin that usual sits on her face.
>She leans over to the coffee table to slip the cigar onto the ash tray, before sighing as she sits back into the futon in a more comfortable position. “I’m sorry, hun. I finished my chores a bit earlier than expected, and decided to smoke for a bit to unwind before heading back to my office. You just happened to catch me before I left.”
>You open your mouth to say something, most likely about her casually entering your home. You’re pretty sure renter’s rights protects you from something like this. Instead, you just close your mouth and sink into the futon.
>>
>>9772325
>Ari nods her head to something, closing her eye in thought. She takes a deep breath, and it actually startles you. The feline was the one in control her, so what was she bracing herself for. “Anon…before we talk about the things you’ll have to do for me, I have to know something.”
>You raise an eyebrow, shifting in your seat a couple times before settling again. By that time, you notice she’s waiting for you to speak once more. She hasn’t opened her eye again, still closed tight while she listens for your response. “Fire away, Ari.”
>The moment her name leaves your lips her eyelid jumps open, and her blue eye is cutting through you. She didn’t look at you like this earlier today, nor while you were putting away your groceries.
>”Anon. Do I frighten you?”

Infinite number of dimensions. Also, we don't need something to be real to make anthros out of them. Dragons, for example. Just make humans some kind of mythological creature.

On how it would be different, well, Humans didn't originally exist in this other dimension. They stand out somewhat. Vampires these days look like regular humans, but with a bit of mystery and lore, they have high sex appeal.

I think all domesticated animal anthros would be naturally submissive towards humans while non-domesticated anthros would be resistant towards humans.
>>
>>9785494
Some wouldn't even exist given they were breed by humans. Dogs are not a natural species and a lot of cat breeds are also man made.

It's shit
>>
>>9785518
Why do them being bred by humans mean they wouldn't exist?
>>
>>9785579
Because we literally made those breeds with very selective breeding. Wolves if left alone for countless generations will not suddenly become german shepherd, pugs, corgis, etc. Those literally only exist because of humans.
>>
>>9785613
And?
Why does that mean domesticated animal anthros wouldn't exist?

>Acting like we wouldn't be amazing at finding the perfect spot to rub domesticated anthros, putting them into euphoria

We would certainly be the best at making them become more submissive.
>>
>>9785637
For fuck's sake, there wouldn't be same incisive for ancient humans to breed the original animal into those new man made breeds. Them being sapient has us would mean we wouldn't have to breed certain traits into them and since they'd be more like another tribe/country/faction humans worked with for mutual gain. Also their longer human-like lifespans means we couldn't make those breeds due to just how long it'd take compared to how short it is to breed regular animals since their generations are much shorter and new ones come quicker. The entire dynamic gets changed with anthros.
>>
>>9785613
Look, one of the best stories here is about a Doberman girl. Sometimes we just need to say "they exist", we don't need everything to be realistic. The chances of more than one species on the same planet becoming sapient is, in itself, highly unlikely. It's called "suspension of disbelief".
>>
>>9785711
>Them being sapient has us would mean we wouldn't have to breed certain traits into them
Why?
>they'd be more like another tribe/country/faction
Well except for all the massive physical differences between humans and anthros.
>Also their longer human-like lifespans means we couldn't make those breeds due to just how long it'd take
It's not their lifespan that determines how fast you could selectively breed different traits but how long their generational period is.
>The entire dynamic gets changed with anthros
Again does that mean domesticated animals can't exist?
I don't understand why your suspension of disbelief breaks at domestication when the very fact to get an anthro setting you need all animals evolve into a sapient species at same time which is far more unrealistic then domestication of anthros.
This only even applies to settings where anthro's evolved naturally and not for example a sci-fi setting where humans genetically engineered anthros or fantasy settings where you just say they were magically altered or god made them that way or something.
Stop pretending your preferred setting is the only way to do it.
>>
This is why I don't like discussions revolving around realism.
People tend to be completely blind to their own unrealistic elements while being very harsh against other peoples.

>>
>>9785637
Not that guy but: Because that would imply that we somehow domesticated an entire collection of sapient species and raised them up with us into the modern day. Which is a lot of mental gymnastics involved and brings up a lot of questions when you could just drop the whole 'these types of animals specifically are domesticated' bit and still use said species just fine. Saying 'these species are domesticated' immediately brings up 'so why are some anthros domesticated and others are not if everyone lives in the same society?' Which is a good question to ask regarding a major detail of a setting.

>>9785717
Hey man, I wasn't thinkin' that hard about it (also I don't know how to feel about my story being considered one of the best, whew).

Let the realism folks do their thing, if they care that much. I just think it's a lot of legwork to make that line of thinking seaworthy and not just irrelevant setting dressing. Which isn't a knock against the realism/in-depth settings/their tastes, and more just the rules of story telling and my thoughts on that would warrant a post in and of itself. This isn't the writefaggotry thread so I'll just leave it be, unless people actually want to hear such nonsense.
>>
>>9787167
I think you're confused about what I meant when I said domesticated animals anthros.
I did not mean anthros who are domesticated but anthros who are anthropomorphizations of domesticated animals.
Unless you think no one should use and/or take inspiration from domesticated animals when making anthros?
>>
>>9787674
I won't even act like I have the right to dictate what other people do. It's just that in any situation where you say 'All <x>s are <y> manner,' one of the first responses is "But why?" Or, in this case, someone stating that, with no explanation, <x>'s being <y> make no sense (See: >>9785518 , >>9785613).

Let me just flat out state that I don't give two shits about using domesticated species or not. For me, anthros have just been there all along and no one is wondering who the fuck bred anthro corgis into existence.

What is likely his problem is that the line was drawn between domesticated species and 'wild' species, and he was wondering "Well, who made drew this line? Who brought all these domesticated breeds of dog into existence when anthros are actually people and not real life dogs? Who decides who is domesticated and who is not? This is dumb, and wouldn't work." It's most likely because it's a line that relies on out of world/reader knowledge, because bringing up who is a domesticated species or not in the written setting would just be bizarre. Imagine a sparrow calling a chicken domesticated as an insult, and it opens up the tangled matter of "Wait, why and how do they know who is domesticated or not?" It creates this bizarre scenario where nobody is actually, really domesticated but people are still aware somehow, in setting, aware that some species are 'wild' and others are not.

To which any setting creator could just say "It's like that because I said so and don't actually care about the why" and the reader would most likely call that retarded, but that's just how it would be. Again, it's just rules of story telling. If you have a major detail in a setting, you have to explain why the detail is so vital or how it came to be, because 'it just is that way' tends to upset people.

Granted, just going 'because my fetish demands it' in smut writing tends to a good enough hand wave, but it still can upset people. Obviously.

Actually dogs aren't the ancestor of wolves but a split from a common ancestor thousands of years ago according to discoveries a few years ago. Wonder what dogs looked like back then cause unlike wolves they were more of a scavenger species.
>>
>>9789031
Speaking of, cats are even weirder since we never really domesticated them, but they more or less domesticated themselves. They just figured out humans/areas humans live equals food, pets, and nice places to sleep.
>>
>>9789031
>dogs aren't the ancestor of wolves
Thanks we already knew it was the other way around.
>split from a common ancestor
Yes but the way you phrase it makes it sound like the last common ancestor of wolves and dogs was not a wolf but we know they are.
The study you're referring to only disproved the connection to gray wolves but the last common ancestor between them and dogs was still a wolf.
>>
>>9789085
Thats not really how it happened.

>>
>>9786066
I wouldn't necessarily say that. Talking about how animals would evolve into anthros and such seems to be interesting along with and if anthros stop and mammals or go beyond that. My only real problem is that no one here seems to want to talk about anthro anatomy and the like since it would be interesting to figure out which human traits an anthro would gain and which animals traits they lose from their base animal. Shame no one wants to talk about it.
>>
>>9788581
Well going by the original post the difference between a domesticated and wild species would be that domesticated species are submissive to human whereas wild species aren't.
You understand why this might be a notable trait among anthros yes?
If you still have a problem with it then why isn't the physical differences between wild and domesticated animals such a huge problem?
Why would the defining mental trait of domesticated animals be this huge deal while their physical forms need no explanation?
>>
>>9787674
Then why would >>9785494 bring up domestic species being submissive to humans and those not resistant. Why would this effect their interactions with humans if they are a sapient species not domesticated by humans?
>>
>>9789589
I just addressed this here >>9789568

I ask again, why are taking the physical traits from domesticated animals perfectly fine while taking mental traits from those same animals is such a big deal despite the fact neither would exist without human intervention?
No one bats an eye when you suggest chickens lay loads of eggs but when you say chickens would be submissive towards humans suddenly it's a problem.
Seems like a double standard to me.
>>
>>9789675
Not them not existing because of them being domesticated by humans but them being submissive to humans. Why would they be submissive to only humans cause in a world where all animals are sapient humans aren't that special.

I'mma break it down for you real simple

If domestication was literally never a thing in this setting, why would 'domesticated' be a label to put on someone? There would be another term to describe this submissive tendency, surely. Imagine two dude bros having a conversation about what kind of women to get. "Oh man, you gotta lose your girl and get an anthro. One of the domesticated kind, like a sheep or somethin.'"

This doesn't make sense, because domestication is not a thing that happened. No one would refer to a sheep as domesticated, since in-universe, it wouldn't make sense as a term for anyone to use. Not unless you also have non-anthro animals that are domesticated around to compare them to, which opens up a whole 'nother, particularly ethical, can of worms just to justify things in-universe. You could literally just write it as 'some anthros are just more submissive,' and these anthros just HAPPEN to be domesticated species in reality and be done with it.

If at any time you have to write "And because she was a cow, she obeyed his commands" or anything equally direct, you TOLD the reader instead of simply SHOWING the reader through repeated interactions that the anthros they know as domesticated species tend to be submissive. That's just bad writing.

I've got no problem with your 'some anthros are just submissive' business, that's your bag, whatever. I don't care. It's that the manner that you're going about it is hamfisted as hell. Nobody is attacking you for wanting realism, you fragile pansy.
>>
>>9789183
True although the ancestors of dogs were more scavengers than pack hunters like wolves and there for more easy for humans to maintain and control. There is also this one semi-domestic dog whose name I can't remember that didn't originate from the same place as other dogs but was eventually exterminated by the aboriginals who raise it because once farming became a thing for them the dogs became to dangerous to the livestock.

You could literally just write it as 'some anthros are just more submissive,' and these anthros just HAPPEN to be domesticated species in reality and be done with it.

Now this is something I was thinking about for a while since to have meat in your setting you also have to have feral animals for that be they livestock or hunted down wild animals. The next thing I was thinking about is if everything anthro has an animal counterpart how would humans fit in. My first thought when coming across this concept was to create a new animal called a hu (basically it was a fantasy setting where races were referred to as wolfman, lizardman, birdmen, ect) that would be a human's base animal, hard to think of what how to design a feral human like creature.

Why does that require explanation but their physical traits don't?
>>9789997
>There would be another term to describe this submissive tendency, surely
Why?
It's not even that hard to come up with a reason.
Just make up some etymology from a made up language in your setting.
>Not unless you also have non-anthro animals
So wait.
You have a problem domestic anthros so your solution is too remove all nonanthropomorphic animals?
That opens up a way bigger can of worms than what I'm suggesting.
Where does everyone get their food, specifically carnivores?
Where did all these anthros come from if not lower life forms?
This is a way bigger deal than submissive anthros.
>Nobody is attacking you for wanting realism
Okay now I got you arguing I'm being dogmatically realistic while I got the guy above arguing I'm being unrealistic.
So which is it guys?
Just to be perfectly clear I'm not trying to be realistic in the slightest.

True though creating the hus were far more interesting cause it was making an entire new species also since everyones race for that setting was just the name of the animal they were based on then man then I needed a reason for humans to have hu in front of the man. It's a very old setting that haven't done anything with and have created far more interesting and creative settings since then (though most of them are more Monster Girl related then anthro).
>>
>>9789997
>why would 'domesticated' be a label to put on someone?
Let me answer this question with a question.
How many legs does a dog have if you call it's tail a leg?
>>
>>9790811
You don't have an answer so you use shitty troll logic. You make no sense anon and now I am starting to think you are a troll.
>>
>>9790925
I'm sorry you couldn't come up with an answer but you don't have to go around calling people trolls just because the problem is too hard for you. Also I'm not the guy you were arguing with i just popped into this conversation, stop assuming things.
>>
>>9790377
>Why?
Because domestication wouldn't be a thing. There wouldn't 'house cats.' They would just be cats, albeit ranging from small to huge. The divide between who's a 'wild' species and who is 'domesticated' wouldn't, in this kind of setting, be made by literally anyone because they're all people in the same society.

>You have a problem domestic anthros so your solution is too remove all nonanthropomorphic animals?
No, my solution is to not call to the fact that some anthro animals are wild in the real world and some we raised to have specific traits through generations and centuries of careful breeding.
And that 'way bigger can of worms' you're describing is literally what I meant. By adding normal animals to a setting JUST to use domesticated as an adjective, now shit is all awkward and requires way more thought put into it than just hand waving who's eating what.

You know what, fuck it, I'll do your goddamn homework for you.
In this wondrous hypothetical setting, 'domestic' refers to species of anthros who easily integrated with other species back in the early centuries and formed societies and cities. 'Wild' refers to species that resisted 'standard' civilization akin to the steppe nomads of Asia and the xenophobic tribes of South America and Africa.

Done. You now have a backed up, defined reason to use the specific term 'domesticated' if you're so anal about it. Now it's not awkward writing that relies on out of universe knowledge instead of being explained in text, with the bonus of actually making the setting interesting and giving it history.

We're done here, I fixed the hole in this idea myself and came out better for it. Might actually even use it, too.
>>
>>9790984
I'm calling it troll logic because that question has nothing to do with the conversation. The answer to that question is obvious.
>>
>>9790992
>defined reason to use the specific term 'domesticated' if you're so anal about it
I'm being anal about it?
Dude you were the one who wrote 4 angry replies to me for daring to use the term.
I never cared about the specific term domesticated, I only used the term because if I used something different nobody would know what I was talking about.
You can call it whatever you want but a house cat is still a house cat.
Also what setting are you talking about?
I never once proposed a concrete setting.
I certainly never proposed anything like what you wrote.
>>
>>9791090
Okay if the answer is obvious then what is it?
>>
>>9791137
I'm going with five, but I'm with that guy in that the question comes off like some loaded troll bait to set someone up for a "this is how retarded you are" punchline.
>>
>>9790992
I really don't want to ask because this conversation is really stupid but why can you hand wave sapient species eating each other but using the word domestic sends you into an autistic tizzy?
>>
>>9791137
It would be five if it would a feral and three if it were an anthro. The question is just stupid and doesn't fit in with the discussion at all unless the author thinks I can make any changes I want because he is changing a tail to mean a leg which is stupid. The needs to be reasons for things or else your setting becomes shit.
>>
>>9791154
>>9791191
You're both wrong, the answer is 4.
I'll gladly admit it was a trick question but I do have a point with posing it. It doesn't matter if you call a tail a leg, a tail is not a leg. Just like calling a domestic animal anything besides a domestic animal doesn't change the fact it's a domestic animal. You seem to believe that calling them something different or changing the definition of domestic will actually fix the problem you brought up but it does nothing of the sort. What you did is essentially tell a 3 legged dog that his tail is a leg and that he should just walk around on it. It doesn't work.

I find it kinda funny the second guy took the exact opposite point i was trying to make.
>>
>>9791158
Because what people eat can be glossed over in the same way no one ever brings up that with a multitude of species living together, buying clothes must be a real pain in the dick. And that being a tailor is actually a job that has a lot of demand. It's not something that comes is thought about until you stop and go "Wait a fucking minute..."

Domestic is harder to pass by because it's just a word to describe 'normal' animals. Assuming there is a world with sapient animal people along side humans, everyone is 'normal.' There would be a way better term to identify the species that came from, for example, a rain forest/jungle and those that are 'normal.' If such a need to identify this difference even came up, anyways.
>>
>>9791343
Did you really just put buying clothes on the same level as eating people?
I think you might be a psychopath.
>>
>>9791383
In that one green about the dude with the scary landlord cat, he mentioned that he needed to buy ground meat.
Did you honestly stop right then and there to ponder what kind of meat he was buying? Nope, you kept on reading without missing a beat. It's background noise, basically.

And the term you're looking for is sociopath, not psychopath.
>>
>>9791407
I just thought it was normal beef since they never said that feral animals don't exist like with what you're proposing.
Also I definitely meant psychopathy.

Lets say you can go out and buy a furry as a pet.
Which would be better a catgirl or a doggirl?
As far as i can see cats and dogs would have the following advantages/disadvantages.

Cat
>?+lithe and flexible
>+Very independent can take care of herself mostly
>+purring
>+probably tight as vice and she'd probably appreciate your dick not being covered in spikes though a humans size might take some getting used to
>+/- can't get pregnant without said spike dicks
>-Sandpaper tongue
>-Aloof and uncaring
>?-If furries have multinips in this universe then cats have less than dogs though some might consider that a plus

Dogs
>?+much more robust build than a cat
>+Very loving, affectionate and loyal
>+Normal soft tongue
>+Protective instincts and the brawn/bite to back it up
>?+Sexually very compatible to humans and doesn't have special problems though she might desire to simulate getting knotted by holding you inside her for as long as possible
>+/- will get pregnant if you have sex with her during heat without protection
>-Completely incapable of taking care of herself and needs you to do nearly everything for her
>-very needy when it comes to affection
>?-if furries have animal pussies in this universe then dog cunts are way different to human cunts than cat pussy is but some might like that

Except that doesn't mean that if an anthro is based off of a domesticated animal it's going to be submissive to humans. You are forgetting that since anthros despite being based on an animal aren't the same as the animal since they are sapient beings and would probably have different personalities between each individual. Besides if you have been in the fandom as long as I have the majority of anthro characters don't behave like their animal counterparts.
>>9792444
I always thought the joke of the series was that Johnny Bravo was suppose to be the guy that woman would be attracted to but aren't. I don't remember him being that much of a douche bag though. Just really desperate for a girlfriend.
>>
>>9793312
>Except that doesn't mean that if an anthro is based off of a domesticated animal it's going to be submissive to humans
It will if you take inspiration from the behavior of the animal it's based on.
>they are sapient beings
So if you're sapient that means your biology suddenly stops having any affect on your personality?
>have different personalities between each individual
But this already true with normal animals.
Have you never interacted with more than one dog in your life?
>majority of anthro characters don't behave like their animal counterparts
Thats because most anthro characters are fursonas aka virtual fursuits.
Of course they act the exact same as humans thats the point.
>>
>>9793386
The point is that an anthro house cat is not the same as an actual house cat and while it maybe based off a domestic animal there needs to be a reason why they are submissive to just humans in general. World building requires a reason for that and just because an animal may do that in nature doesn't mean it's anthro counterpart will also do that otherwise anthro society wouldn't function probably because there would be to many fights between anthros based on animals that don't get along with each other along with them eating each other because of predator prey relationships with the original animals.
>>
>>9793490
>there needs to be a reason why they are submissive to just humans
It's because they're anthropomorphic house cats.
>just because an animal may do that in nature doesn't mean it's anthro counterpart will also do that
It doesn't mean they won't do that either.
I don't know why you're so adamant that basing an anthros personality off the animals is wrong.
>there would be to many fights between anthros based on animals that don't get along with each other along with them eating each other because of predator prey relationships with the original animals
So you'd rather just sweep that under the rug and have them all act as humans instead of exploring how such a society would function and the struggles of the people who live in that society to understand the people around them?
You sound really boring.
Also thats pretty much the entire plot of zootopia so it's not even like these themes are unique or never been done before or even that hard to pull off.
>>
>>9791830
Sorry I went to bed sometime when that domestication argument started since I wasn't expecting a reply like with my previous comments bringing it up. Anyway I believe my first point I wanted to discuss was how anthros would be classified scientifically since humans are primates and such where would anthros fit on this animal classification tree. This would become even more difficult if they could interbreed with humans and each other because then they would need to be in the same genus or family as humans. Although thinking about it would a world with anthros even have the same life classification system as our world. So many questions although if this is to difficult to discuss I could move onto a different point like for example what traits would an anthro keep from it's base animal and was human traits will it gain from it's humanoid form.
>>
>>9793552
First off house cats aren't really that submissive to humans to begin with and secondly the point is why would relationships between different animals be the same as they would in anthros since unlike their animal counterparts they wouldn't have the same relationships with each other unless its a setting similar to Zootopia where the anthros were once all the animals they were based on and evolved from such they won't have the symbiotic relationships like their actual animal counterparts unless you express an reason they would have that like for example rodent anthros would be afraid of feline anthros because feline anthros in the past oppressed rodent anthros and used them as slaves, now there is a reason why a mouse anthro would be afraid of a cat anthro.
>>
>>9793553
You're starting off with 2 very broad questions which is not a good way to go about it.
As to the latter is depends on the species.
As for the former I don't really think real world classification systems would work at all with anthros even in a sci-fi setting were they're all the result of genetic engineering.
Anthros are crosses between 2 widely different animals and neither cladistics nor phylogenetics is really built to account for this sort of thing.
You'd need to come up with you're own classification system from scratch.
>>

>First off house cats aren't really that submissive to humans
You've never owned a cat before have you?
>why would relationships between different animals be the same as they would in anthros since unlike their animal counterparts they wouldn't have the same relationships with each other unless its a setting similar to Zootopia
Well there you go.
It doesn't actually have to be similar to zootopia at all.
You can come up with whatever reason you want.
>rodent anthros would be afraid of feline anthros because feline anthros in the past oppressed rodent anthros
You said earlier that breeding personality traits into anthros is impossible but here you are suggesting that anthro rats have a genetic fear of anthro cats bred into them.
So which is it?
Is breeding personality traits into anthros possible or impossible?
If it's possible then I don't see what the problem is.
Also please stop the massive run on sentences.
>>
>>9793638
>You're starting off with 2 very broad questions which is not a good way to go about it.

I know it's a broad question but I can't think of how one could narrow it down in a way to not generalize all settings. Guess to specify them more one would have to have an actual setting and not just talk about anthro settings in general.

>As to the latter is depends on the species.

Fair point, guess it would depends on the world settings where the anthro lives with what features they will keep and what ones they will gain, then there is the hybridization aspect if humans and anthros can breed with each other.

>As for the former I don't really think real world classification systems would work at all with anthros even in a sci-fi setting were they're all the result of genetic engineering.

That is correct which is one of the most difficult things when adding realism to your own setting is to figure out how basic biology would work.

>Anthros are crosses between 2 widely different animals and neither cladistics nor phylogenetics is really built to account for this sort of thing.

Exactly why anthros would be difficult to classify given them being a mixture of human and animal made even more complicated when you go outside of mammals.

>You'd need to come up with you're own classification system from scratch.

Guess that's the only way to get a system like that to work though before since you mentioned genetic hybrids I will have to check how they are classified in biology.

I have a cat though thing never listens to me and always does what it wants compared to my dogs. Only comes out when it wants to be feed. Also not sure if your referring to another point or not but what I am saying is that in your world you should have a reason why anthros based on domesticated anthros are submissive to humans because of things from the past and not because the animal counterpart does in unless said anthros have evolved from the animal they are based on.

I did have an idea about a fantasy setting full of anthros where humans are sorta like the Rangers of the North from LOTR. Mysterious nomads with an ancient past, who patrol all of the dangerous wastelands and hellscapes of the world, hunting demons and the like. They only ever show up when trouble's brewing, and seeing a human at your doorstep is generally considered a bad omen.

The worst thing about me is that I have the urge to write stories, but at the same time can't carry them through. Greens are my drug.

>After the uplift, and what came after it, after the humans had made their apologies and their threats, and the new status quo was set up. After all that she had lived through, Charlette 206602 was sad.
>Not simply sad as one is over the death of a transient thing that has passed on, but a sadness that enleadened her bones and turned her muscles to rusty pistons.
>She had stopped giving milk. And her last child was far behind her.
>After having the pleasure of carrying a child literally bred into her bloodline, she simply could not get rid of the sheer rightness of carrying a child.
>Another thing the humans kept apologizing for.
>For whatever reason the bulls were not swept along in the uplift and remained quadrupedal beasts. And her body had changed too much for their semen to fertilize her.
>She had tried.
>Her last hope was entwined in that of a human. One who was willing to trespass the new taboos before they could be set. One who would fuck a calf into her vacant womb and let her feel whole again.

>She was a Nanny Goat with no kids of her own, nor of any others.
>She though this was how she would end her days. Menial chores around the village in exchange for bed and board until the day she could work no more and the people would throw her out.
>Until he came and whisked her away. Now she travels with him.
>In her darker moments she thinks of herself as naught but a pack-mule and accepts her state.
>When he lies down with her and whispers his love to her, as he slowly fucks her aged, worn body. When she wonders how this young, vital, man could ever find something redeeming in her.
>Those are the times she cannot imagine anything other than being with him forever and ever more.

>He strokes her horns and runs his hands through her fur. She tries not moan at the feeling.

>She tries to kiss like he does with his flat face and fails. He rubs his growing beard against her face and she rubs her cheek against his.

>He lets his fingers wander inside of her and cringes at how she does not appear to enjoy his ministrations. She holds his hand inside herself and gently instructs him where to let his hand stray and how.

>She locks her legs around his hips as she lies on her back, "Don't you even think of pulling out," she whispers. He looks shocked, then chuckles as she explains the trouble of rubbing seed out of her fur.

>~13 Mins.

Back, sorry for the long wait. Only problem though is that I don't really have a need for a generic anthro setting at the moment and the current one I thought up thanks to these threads isn't really one of those generic ones. Although didn't someone before mention that there this general should create its own world setting with the bases of anthros (female) and humans (male) having relationships with each other. The setting could even expand to our sister thread /hfoma/.

Slight retcon. Sha'var'o became simply Sha'var because the 'o at the end made her 80s super villain and her name looked more and more ridiculous every time I typed it. Still insatiable though.

>Sha’var left me alone in the kitchen to recover. Funny, since the worst of my injuries today were caused by her. Instead of watching me scratch pointlessly at my chest in some attempt to dull the ache, she left to wander the keep.
>Even as she left my sight I still somehow had a decent bead on where she was. I don’t think I would be able to describe the distance in actual terms of measurement, but I had a decent gist of where she was at any moment.
>There was what felt like a soft rumble in the back of my head. Seeing as I had never felt it before I ended up in this state, I assumed it had something to do with whatever that demon was up to. The only problem was that it wouldn’t leave or subside.
>It was tiresome, and dull. Not that it was painful, but I would have given anything to have relief from it. Nothing could be done, though; it’s not like the demon had told me how our connection worked. Instead I just had to put up with whatever was bouncing between us.
>Steadying myself, I finally pull myself off of the floor and kitchen wall. It was time to at least survey the carnage Sha’var had caused in her summoning and during my time unconscious. Even before I reached the door, I could smell the iron heavy tinge of blood in the air. Stepping over the pieces of shattered door, I braced myself for what I would see.
>It wasn’t enough. I could see bodies crumpled in unnatural ways, with cracks in the stone wall just above each corpse. Whether they were broken before or after the demon had thrown them, I couldn’t tell.
>However, in a way, the men who had met their end against unforgiving stone had some mercy; they were recognizable. Every other man laid in a mire of gore and shattered steel. It was hard to tell where one body began and another ended.
>>
>>9812687
>She had a distinct method of dispatching these men, I could see from a common wound among the dead. A hole in the middle of the chest. I had seen that kind of wound before, on poor souls caught on the receiving end of siege weaponry. Yet everyone here had met their end by the bare hands of a demon, rather than any weapon devised by mortals.
>Bodies were caught in several degrees of brokenness. Some simply had the signature hole, right through their armor. Others had broken or even removed limbs, Sha’var likely breaking their sword arms before going in for the kill. I shudder as I remember how casually she deflected my attack and slammed her palm into my chest. Had she put more effort and energy into her counter attack, I would be laying dead, shattered even, like the rest of these men.
>I covered my mouth as I suddenly felt the urge to retch, uncontrollably bending over as my other hand clutched at my stomach. “It’s like a butcher’s stall in here.” I thought, swallowing hard to keep the contents of my last meal inside me. While I fight the sucking sensation in my throat urging me to heave, I look around the room at the color and markings of the armor the dead have on them. None I recognize. We had been routed.
>”Don’t be foolish, Pactbearer.” The demon’s voice was in my head again, as if she heard me comment on her handiwork. No, of course she heard me. We were ‘one’ now, as she put it. If there was a way to hide my thoughts from her, I had no knowledge of it. “These men are not fit to eat. The muscle of warriors is tough to chew, and I do not have the patience to wait for the flesh to become tender in soup.”
>That did it. With her casual attitude to eating the slain soldiers here, and the roiling wave of what must have been disappoint from her, I couldn’t keep my stomach under control. Falling forward, my hands caught in the pools of blood staining the dining hall floor and I began to vomit.
>>
>>9812707
>I had seen the freshly dead before. I have even killed several men, mostly thugs and highwaymen, by my own hand. I was no stranger to death. It was a slaughter performed so thoroughly, and bodies left to lay so casually that was too much.
>She must have felt the pain of my heaving, as by the time I had managed to recover she was standing in the entry way to the dining hall. I couldn’t even bring myself to stand yet, so I could only look up at her while on all fours. “You’re a monster.” I panted, my head falling back down.
>My words hardly phased her. The dull rumbling of what I assume was boredom hardly changed as I stared at a pile of my own sick. “A monster is what Gwyndil desired. A monster her descendant was given.” She answered, with a matter-of-fact tone as if she was telling me the weather. ”Pactbearer, you shouldn’t dwell on the passing of mortals. There is business that we must attend to.”
> That got me to look up, shaking my head in disbelief. “What business? I’ve got a demon in my head, and my soul is beyond redemption!” I slam my hand down, too incensed to pay mind to the sound or the splash of blood being sent flying. “Do you already intend to conquer the four kingdoms, beast? Am I just your unwitting summoner?”
>There was laughter, both in my head and straight from her lips. “Conquer must wait, but it is good to hear that my Pactbearer has already set his sights on a prize. No, my human. I need to recuperate my lost energy.” She grinned, examining her hand and nails for a moment. A foggy haze sneaked into my head, but she straightened up her posture and it slipped away. I had a feeling I would be learning the exact nature of what that sensation meant sooner rather than later.
>>
>>9812717
>”Summoning takes a lot out of a demon. Something of a cost on our side to step over. I will need that energy to disguise myself if we are to travel beyond this place. Or do you believe the paladins you fear so much will let me walk right past city gates?” Despite my hesitation to do so normally, I finally let myself look over her towering figure properly. I had to examine her closer than merely labeling her entire form an abomination to avert my gaze from.
>Her body was covered in a purple fur, deep in color, yet short in length. Underneath I could spot black skin, that matched the flesh of her lips and...unmentionables. There were oddly placed scales on portions of her limbs, black as her skin but pushing out of the fur. In the evening hours, she could no doubt stalk a forest or even the back alleys of a city unseen.
>As my gaze ran over her chest and the teasing trace of black between her legs, her pose changed. Her hands wrapped under her chest to push her breasts out, and she widened her stance. I could feel a bubble of amusement in the back of my mind, confirming what she thought matched the fanged grin on her face. Even worse, the hazy sensation returned. She was planning something, I was certain of that much.
>Shaking my head in a mix of disgust and embarrassment, I took the chance to examine her face. It was the muzzle of an anthro for sure, but I couldn’t pin it down to once species. It vaguely reminded me of the strange hyena folk I had once seen, who were visiting our country to trade. Behind her fanged maw sat pointed ears, more prominently covered along the upper ridges in the same scales that dotted her body. Then, of course, the horns.
>>
>I remember hearing myths of demon horns, how they were made out of stone and as hard as steel. Yet, I could see they were no different than the horns of a ram. Some kind of bone for sure, as the gray colored protrusions stretching out and back from the top of her head were a stark contrast to the mane underneath and between them. A dark, almost dull brown wash of hair rested on her head. Cut short most definitely, with how suddenly and oddly the hair on the back of head stopped. It was relieving to see that demons at least understood the concept of grooming.
>Every time I look at something too long, I am reminded that Sha’var is connected to me. She runs a hand down the back of her head, and I feel a wave of emotion pass over me. I blink as I start to stand onto my feet, “You’re concerned about your hair, of all things?”
>”I like how it looks longer, but you only have to be grabbed by your hair once to decide it isn’t worth the risk.” She explains, ruffling the back of her head. I take a moment to imagine the purple demon with hair like those of the women back home. Dark brown hair down to her shoulders, dancing every time she turned her head. “No, Pactbearer, longer than that.” My imagination refuses to play along with this ridiculous idea further and I draw a blank.
>Walking over to the demon, and out of the pond of gore she made, I continue my assessment of her body. Blood still soaked her forearms, but it was drying, and her hands were mostly cleaned off. It seemed that in her absence she found time to wipe off her hands. Five fingers, just like most people. What was striking was her nails, no, claws. Of course someone’s who’s preferred method of killing was a strike right through the chest would have sharpened claws. Her were gray, similar to her horns, and easily over an inch long. She clicks them together, testing them as I look.

>As long as they are, eventually her legs taper down to ankles and feet. I was partially surprised with how the rest of her body was a mishmash of anthro parts, her legs were human-like. Straight down, only one joint rather than being digitigrade like just about every anthro I’ve ever known. She traces a finger along her thigh, skimming through her fur. I roll my eyes, and there is the expected tingle of amusement in my mind. I hadn’t yet seen the back side of her, but I didn’t need to in order to notice that flicking tail. It had thinner layer of fur than the rest of her up until it became naked at the end, making it appear like an even darker patch of purple fur until it ended with a pointed black spade.
>”Soon, Pactbearer, I will peel away that armor, and you will overjoyed rather than frightened.” The worst part about this situation, besides the horrifying mess behind us, is that whenever she laughs, I hear it in two places. Hopefully I will get used to this. “I will show you the pleasures you faith would deny you.” She insists, a clawed hand grasping at my back and pushing me into the halls of the keep.
>”Before going that far, however, we must find a place that makes us both comfortable.” My annoyance turns into hesitant, even worried, curiosity as she leads me down the halls. “I would have settled for that hall, but your qualms with the location would disrupt my attempts to gather my power.” I don’t doubt that; I could go my whole life without seeing another scene like that. But as we walk through the halls, there are the occasional signs of battle, and I fear the day that I become accustomed to this.

>Most look like what I’m used to, men slumped over or fallen as if their wounds had simply took away their will to fight. In scenes like this, I see some familiar faces, and I’m glad the path we’re taking is not the same route I had fled down earlier today. I’m not sure I would be able to take seeing the lifeless faces of my brothers in arms and faith while in the company of a denizen of Hell. If the demon can feel my guilt and remorse, she doesn’t show it.
>Occasionally we come across fresher corpses, some still not entirely devoid of the intangible warmth of life. These bodies are resemble their allies in the dining hall; shattered upon the nearest surface, torn apart, impaled, but in the end effortlessly slain despite the method.
>None of these men wore the colors or standards of those I trained, fought, and lived with. We lost the keep, but thanks to Sha’var’s sudden summoning, the raiders did not live to celebrate or make use of it. It is a bittersweet realization.
>I realize that along the path she is leading me through the halls of the keep, the bodies of soldiers were becoming less common. Instead, they were being replaced by cut down common folk, running into the depths of the keep for safety. Before the attack, we had a caravan of traders visiting to keep for business, one of home was of a noble family. Now, with death having swept through, there was no distinction.
>”Sha’var, have you come across anyone living that wasn’t a soldier of some sort?” I asked, stepping over one of the keep’s former servants. A buzz filled my head, and I look up to see her scratching under her chin. At least I’ll know when she’s actually thinking about something.

>”A few, Pactbearer, but only in their last moments. The warriors I found did not seem to be interested in taking prisoners. The bodies of the more defenseless mortals all were struck with killing blows, rather than any intent to injure.” I nod along, trying to make some sense of the attack. Too brash to be soldiers of another country, but too ruthless and organized to be mere bandits, either. “Hoping for survivors is a waste of energy, Pactbearer. Let us focus that energy instead on helping me recover.”
>Part of me wishes to point out how selfish that sounds, but I doubt she would care. And she likely already knows how I feel, more aware of how our shared link works than I. For a moment I consider asking for details on this, but I’m immediately distracted by a realization of where she had led me to. “This is the lord’s chambers, Sha’var. He was not a man of the magic arts. What purpose does bringing me here serve?”
>She pushed up the door to the no doubt deceased lord’s chambers, barging into his private study with a hand firmly planted onto my back as she dragged me with her. “Simple, Pactbearer. I need you to be comfortable.” The hazy sensation returned, and this time she wasn’t trying to be subtle about it as it made itself known in my mind.
>From my experience so far with how our connection worked, whatever her feelings and emotions where, they stayed put in the far back of my mind. An odd sensation, but not a true burden. This haze was different, creeping its way deeper into my thoughts like fog off of the sea shore. Once something had sunk into the haze, it was impossible to clearly think about it. Shaking my head in an attempt to clear my thoughts, I looked right up at the demon, “What’s going on?” I asked, half-confused and half-upset at her purposeful vagueness. She was after something, she had to be.

>Instead of explaining herself, she simply grinned, and I felt the increasingly familiar sensation of her amusement dance in the creeping haze. She pushed onto my back to urge me forward into the room, but I dug my heels in. In response, she simply picked me up off the ground. It was only now I noticed that the door to the lord’s bed chambers had been open before we walked in. She had been here earlier, in her exploration of the keep. I began to wriggle in her grasp, trying to free myself, “Demon! Beast! Hell’s whore! Release me!”
>It didn’t surprise me when she ignored my pleas, more desperate than furious at this point. Instead, she lifted me higher before turning me around, and we were face to face. Her other hand rose up to grasp at my chin, tilting it to the side. I squirmed further, fearful that she was going to snap my neck like a twig. But she wouldn’t, we were connected, right?
>Instead, she pulled me closer to her fanged maw. Instinctively I yelped, and she took that chance to lunge forward. I thought she was going to bite me, but instead when she opened her mouth she met her lips to mine at an angle. I hardly had time to process the fact that we were kissing when I suddenly felt her tongue slip past my lips.
>I had never paid attention to her tongue when she spoke earlier, it never being of concern to me. Now it was snaking around my own, only to unwind and taste the inside of my cheeks. No amount of scripture or paladin’s teachings on the traits of demons could have prepared me for this. It was smooth, and coated with some sort of substance that was unlike kind of spit I was aware of. It made my tongue and mouth alternate between gentle numbness and a surprisingly pleasant tingle.

>I wanted to fight this, and part of my mind screamed to. Yet another part didn’t mind, and the part of me I shared with Sha’var certainly wasn’t in the mood to stop. In a two to one vote, I closed my eyes submitted to the kiss. It wasn’t a poor kiss, either; her tongue was not spasming wildly, but seeking out spots she hadn’t yet gotten to. And every now and then, it would return to mine, wrestling and pushing against my tongue for a few seconds before wrapping itself around and tugging at it in playful dominance.
>When Sha’var broke the kiss, I was panting and out of breath. I had to recollect myself, and in that moment I put a name to the creeping cloud in my mind. Lust, plain and simple. She radiated it, and it was infectious across our link. I almost fell over when she put me down, unprepared and in another place mentally. Looking around, I noticed that she had carried me to the bed chamber, and the lord’s bed, still pristine despite the chaos in the rest of the keep, sat mere feet behind me.
>Looking back at Sha’var, my eyes ran over her body. She had her hands on her hip, and a triumphant look on her face. Black buds pressed out of her furred breasts in defiance, and as I looked down between her legs, I could see a glisten of moisture through the thinning fur line. Every knight is certain they’ll pass the test when confronted, but they usually imagine some great battle. I looked over the demon in front of me as I stepped back and sat at the edge of the bed.
>”I’m going to Hell for this.”
>Once again, two sources of laughter teased me, and Sha’var grinned as she stepped forward and pushed me flat onto my back, knees still over the side of the bed. Her fingers curled slightly, and I felt her claws hook through my tunic and into the chain mail underneath. “That isn’t such a bad thing, Pactbearer. You might learn to love it there.” All I could manage was the nervous grin on my face as she began tearing away at my armor.

3345 words. I really wanted to get to a proper sex scene but it was getting pretty long for a chapter and it's pretty late on my end. Hopefully y'all can be satisfied with a kiss so good it makes you forget about not!Christianity for awhile.

Hobo out.
