I can't remember the name (Exactly, that is.) of either of them, but there has been two stories that I know of that have a pretty solid Gideon in them.

One I think was "The Redemption of Gideon Grey" As the name implies Gideon is a major player in it, I heard it was quite good but i never completely read it.

Basic plot was: Nick/Judy went to BB and got wrapped up in a massive plot for something that was going down, and Gideon was a key player in it. (Not that he was a villain, that is.) WildeHopps still happened in the end and I believe Gideon was the one to help Nick out or something. It's been finished for quite some time.

Another one was an AU, where Nick was Judy's landlord at a better apartment complex she went to. (I think Nighthhowler case never happened? I can't remember.) WildeHopps happened at the start of it, and they went to BB so Judy could show off Nick to everyone. (And to lay the smack down on a major asshole of a buck that wanted to still get with Judy.)

Gideon was secretly seeing one of Judy's sisters, and after a certain event happened, Nick/Judy saw how close Gideon and her sister was. Which help but into perspective that maybe they could be that close one day (and for them to see that whatever they have, is going to be final.)

It's still on going, but it's moving at a snails pace with how rare updates are.
