I'm fitter than I was, and I've done a lot for my IRL work! I traveled a lot of places and read a ton of interesting books, and I can do a hand-stand push-up now! I've tried a lot of new things, and a lot of them have been a lot of fun, and some of them have been really enlightening-- and a lot of these things were things I never knew I would try in the first place!

Best of all, I found a bunch of wonderful, creative people and do lots of fun stuff with them! Every day is a new adventure with all of them, and I'm lucky to have them around.

You can say "this is in an AU where dogs exist" but that doesn't exactly write away that Judy struggled to get to where she is, yet there is this rabbit who could take down buffalos on his own and everyone still thinks "Nah, Judy can't be a cop". Big predator cats look pretty distinctly different. I'm not sure exactly what it is, or even if it's just one thing. The eyes, maybe, or the way the face slopes in general. For me, for now, it seems a little too edgy more than dark. Dark is different from being edgy.
Dark stories are possible without edge. You can have criminals, assassins, a constant sense of oppression and no chance of hope without doing the "too cool" evil character.
For now I've seen characters being evil just for the sake of being evil. You should work around that, give them dimensionality, reasons, multiple facets.
