I think their relation, like Remmy's relation with basically everyone in the Pack, is a good foundation but not much else. Despite how long the story's been going just getting up to this point it feels like the real drama might only be getting started.

From here, the tension and stresses involved in the aftermath of the Bellwether arrest could pull Remmy apart or bring him closer together with anyone, and a lot of people seem to like imagining Betty looking after and protecting Remmy which is a good fit for a situation where an angry mob is hunting for him.

I think Betty generally cares for everyone but when it comes to Remmy, it depends on how you interpret certain scenes. She does have a habit of getting his attention when she is sitting outside and she sees him like catcalling him or asking where he is going. Where Judy learns of something different that has her questioning her very design, Nick helps her along with it. Expect some somewhat dark things (don't worry, there's no abloo's or shit like that) in it, but also are great deal of eroticism.

(Also, just read the other chapters also. The dude's writing is pretty great.)

The only other story that I can remember. Has a chapter in this one fic, where Judy ate shrimp that was meant for Nick and it had her freaking out. Questioning her humanity and how wrong it is, but she accepts it in the end. Sadly I don't remember the name of the fic but it has been surely abandoned, so there's really no point.

But besides that? There's more and more fic's recently that has Judy eating meat one way or another, but it's not really focused on. Just as more of a through away line(s), or just something different to show her changing. Either by Nick being a "bad" influence on her or story's that have her pregnant with Nick's child and getting hit with craving's.

Zootopia has so many different species, it must be genuinely difficult for them to keep breeding enough to keep their numbers stable unless the particularly multicultural areas we see in Zootopia are the exceptions and most of the world is racial homelands like Bunnyburrow.

man the self-loathing really came through strong in that charlie one-shot. remmy's got a lot of problems but he doesn't seem to hate himself, he just beats himself up for mistakes sometimes. charlie thinks real poorly of herself and likes dressing up to pretend to be someone who's not worthless. even trans people usually see who they're transitioning to as who they really are but charlie seems to accept her 'real' self is when she feels ugly and unloveable.

It really is a nice read, even if the characters are vastly different than our usual fox/bunny duo. Tobur, while just as much as a smart mouth as Nick if not more, has much more self confidence and doesn't resent the world around him, even if he does seem to have some loathing for himself. Yes, use the energy for something positive, rather than just parodies of the shit fics but in reverse with Judy on the receiving end.

You know, the thing that bothers me more than those stories, is people defending them. Looked at the reviews and it ranges from "AHHH I LOVE THIS STORY" to "Wow, your critics are harsh! The story is called 'Immoral' for a reason!", as if that last one is enough justification on its own.

Blueberry Pie and Carrot Cake (At some point, after two weeks of Nick being busy with training, Judy gets 'needy', makes out with Jack and gets caught by Nick. Judy goes to apologize, and Nick just forgives her almost immediately because he still loves her)

I'd only recently found Beastars, then yesterday found Forrest Tails.
Obviously inspired by Zootopia, but diverged to their own themes almost immediately.
The constant I found in the two, is the almost fatalistic acceptance that a prey animal could be eaten at any moment.
This is explained in Forrest Tails almost as the 'Circle of Life' type thing, but in Beastars it's a little more confusing, almost like a third world belief that life is basically worthless, well for prey anyway.
In both cases when the respective rabbits are threatened, the both seem to accept their impending fate and just ask that it is quick and painless.
Both interesting reads.

As far as Forest Tails goes, it was actually conveniences that the stories both features a fox/bunny duo, as the comic came out a bit before Zootopia came out in theaters. Zootopia has probably influenced it a little bit afterward, but it is still very much its own beast.
