Hello everyone!

I often see a lot of people wondering what they could do for TT. Because of this, I thought I'd share an exercise with you all!

Basically, you're going to come up with as many ideas as possible in five minutes!

Put five minutes on a clock and then, when the timer starts, start typing as fast as you can and don't stop! Come up with as many ideas as possible!

Remember, any time you're not typing and thinking too hard, any time you're correcting your spelling mistakes, any time you go "Umm" or "Uhh", is time you're not putting more ideas down, and the point is to get as many ideas as possible!

Then, the next day, try 5 more minutes! See if you can break your record!

I bet you in some of those ideas you come up with is an awesome one!

I've been doing some traveling lately and finally had time to actually read Pack Street start to finish rather than just seeing fan art and Weaver's doodles.

It's good, but I'm actually surprised how much of a genuine, serious story it is. From what gets posted around here I figured it was some kind of harem comedy thing but what actually goes down in the story has a lot more depth than some fan-fiction ship-fest. The racial commentary was actually pretty damn good and a fun extension of the source material's setting and themes. Weaver is Good As Fuck and I hope he's happy and well.

I also think it's a neat change of pace for that one chapter from Charlie's perspective. Her and Remmy both think very differently and have very strong character voices in their internal monologues, and it was really surprising both to see what was going on in Charlie's head and what Remmy looks like to others "from the outside" rather than his self-image. I hope there are more like that, either extending Charlie's story or showing us some of the other supporting cast, to see more of Weaver's range.

Yeah, and it's frankly amazing how well it fits with the original Zootopia. Like it definitely feels like it's taking place in the same universe (if a little harsher than a normal Disney setting) and it expands on both the themes brought up in the movie and the implications of the events. You can feel the distant aftershocks of Judy and Nick's actions on this everyday neighbourhood in a way that hangs together really naturally.

Also going to add that it's funny just how *dense* Remmy is. After reading all the Pack Street stories, there is actually quite a lot of depth to them, and just enough ambiguity to allow unexpected twists to occur.
I'm assuming Pack Street (PS) will actually run for a while as each of the residents' personalities and interrelationships are expanded, maybe even moving out to non residents, T-Rex, Dora, etc.
On a side note, if you've read all of Weaver's stories, many other authors are using PS to base their own stories, some good, some bad.
Try searching for Pack Street in AO3 (Archive of Our Own) to start with.

Yeah, that was a dark chapter. Charlie sounded at risk of self-harm, I was leery about Remmy leaving her on her own rather than at least making sure someone like Marty was around first (I saw the comic Weaver did about that).

I don't know how much longer Weaver intends to continue the story, it might be that after covering the aftermath of the movie's events he'll reach a natural conclusion (in a broad arc of Remmy and the Pack slowly gaining each others' trust leading to them sticking up for him with the whole sheep conspiracy fallout). He certainly has the material to take it as far as he likes, especially if he's willing to move around to different characters and parts of the timeline.

I think I might like to see what happens when Pandora's cured and how hard it is for her to reintegrate with the community. I don't remember reading what the exact outcome of her "going savage" was, others were injured but was anyone killed? She might have a hard time rebuilding her life and the gang are all naturally inclined to helping her through it.

I'm also curious if her specific case of going savage will be used against Remmy, since they hung out a few times and spoke briefly before her incident. It's enough that even some within the Pack might suspect him, Avo and Charlie in particular. I can't decide if Marty will decide this is proof Remmy really IS part of a secret sheep society or if their prior incident convinced him he's innocent.

You seem to go for a realistic approach toward tubedudes, with a bottom-heavy body. So I suggest you look at pic related by Rose, since she is similar to you in that style.
Mongooses have not much that can be modified to make them "unique" (e.g. for mine it is the fur of the cheeks and the tuft of fur at the top of his head), so the shape is pretty standard and easy.

Sure, Nick and Judy were suppose to represent pro-life and pro-choice respectively, but both sides were so heavy-handed that they would make any sensible person groan.
