It's one of those cases where I'm trying to think of an entire family, plus Grandma, being OK with gaining weight, and not coming uo with much. So I figured it'd be better to invent one wholesale than try and force it.

So, any preferences there, let me know. Basic concept I've got so far is Granny comes in to help when the family gets the flu, and her "home remedy" is basically beer mixed with lard. Plus being a big proponent of "feed a fever, feed a cold, starve never".
Any ideas for the family, mom, dad, teen sis, son, etc., would be appreciated.

I'm thinking the family is primed for gluttony already, and the grandmother's actions basically upon the already flimsy floodgates.

Son is impulsive, so he has the potential to pig out within him.

The teenage daughter isn't particularly active, resulting in weight gain from simply being sedentary.

The mom is wondering if she would look better with a fuller figure. She's become disillusioned with her rail-thin shape.

The dad is outwardly a health-nut, but secretly prefers junk food.

Different motivations but all lead to the same outcome once Granny starts overfeeding them.

Michael Hale-Father. Formerly fat, now a strict health nut carefully monitoring his family's intake. Was bullied as a kid for being fat which made him both fatphobic and also a slight kick for a humilation and bullying fetish.
Kevin Hale-Son.Hyperactive, poor impulse control, feels stifled by dad. loves superheroes, has a crush on several heroines.
Lucy Hale- Daughter. Anime and vidya lover, kinda of a shut-in. Cosplayer. Loves yaoi.
Maggie Hale- Mother. Successful, work from home. More laid back than father, sneaks kids treats sometimes. Enjoys getting her husband flustered.
Grandma Hale- Mike's mother. A sassy, plump silver fox who takes the opportunity of the family being sick to bring in some joy and food back into the house.

Story beats
-Grandma moves in to nurse the family back to health- stuffing session.
-Grandma's medicine, the sickness, and their overstuffed bellies give the family "fever dreams" of them being fat- most of them kinda love it.

She was intrigued by Mrs. Monarch's offer to join the guild, could have her call the number she got from Mrs. M and get an interview with the guild, they place her as a henchgirl/ Number 2 with any villain you can find an excuse to add a weight gain plot in (Mad Scientist>experiments on her, Animal themed beast master villain>mixes her DNA with an animal such as pig or cow, She becomes Fat-Chance's number 2>gains a lot of sympathy weight/he feeds her like he feed's himself) Pretty open ended possibilities for her to get turned into a fat ass because of super villain dickery

I recall a writing.com interactive they took a similar yet opposite approach, story had her become a born again christian and joined a holier than thou style guild that treated magic users like villains and saw themselves as the OSI equivalent to stopping them. Kim ends up in an angel themed costume assigned to "nemesis" Triana who was marked as a witch. Basically setting her up to have Triana cast any number of spells on her in their fights that could have led to her being fattened, but sadly that story never went anywhere past the setup.

Another idea might be Toph's family in Avatar LoK, Toph decides she's unhappy with the legacy she's leaving behind and want's the Beifong name to be known for raw power. So she pops up in Zaofu planning to turn her daughter's clan into the strongest metal benders in the world, literally. She has no trouble bullying her family into overeating and glutting themselves to bulk up but it's a bit harder to make them more physically active when they all have the power to bend her trials away with ease, paving the way to more and more shirking of responsibility and lazy gluttony. Suyin also starts abusing her power as leader to make new allowances for her family that make it easier for them to laze about and eat as she starts to sink into her own selfish greed.
Toph doesn't let up on her attempts to raise her family's weight limits, doubling down on the food and challenges in the face of her failure to get them working out. But as she struggles to make them properly "swole", they just continue to swell.


One last thing to consider is, why do you need a family with a grandmother?
You could have a family at the mercy of a witch using her magic to beguile and fatten them. Maybe when on vacation. or when they are stranded somewhere, or they move in next door to her. She has them trapped in someway that she can take her time and cast spells or feed them magic treats designed to turn them into proper piggies. She could even use her magic to brain wash them into thinking she is their family matriarch, further toying with them as she has her way with their waistlines.
