Example: non-cannon shipping comics, that openly berate the canon ships. Borba's work is no different. He just doesn't care about canon, because the canon is not what he needs to tell his story.

Step 4: Positive thinking. Understand that no matter what borba is doing it will not have a permament influence on the fandom. People will still be wanting to read any good quality fluffy/warm art and fic with Nick and Judy because that's who they are in the movie. Nothing borba says will leave any substantial impact on the fandom.

Step 5: You didn't forgot to smile right? Keep up the smile as much as you can. Go watch some humorst shows who make you laugh. Cute cat videos on youtube, anything that makes you smile. It will reduce the stress a lot.

So unless you make really good story like Borba's ARCF that people like so much that fans make art for it from sheer passion, you gotta accept that people will await compensation.

I've seen that stupid shit that happened yesterday and I can say that many, if not all, of those "drawfags" were simply trolls.
Sure, maybe there was someone who draws and has the ego the size of a mountain, but really, do not believe everything posted yesterday.
A comic is time used for both who write and who draws.
Both have work to do.
The only difference being that while in writing it is common to continue a work for many chapters (and weeks), in drawing one usually is concentrated on a single panel/image for hours or days but then goes doing something else. The idea of a collaboration, with a project that can span for many weeks, it's more easier to approach from one side than the other.

The fic in question has Judy, out of nowhere, kidnapped by a wolf crimelord in order to marry him. The wolf was just looking to kidnap any female because he needs to have a spouse in order for his mother to hand down the "throne" of his family's empire to him (which, apparently, is so powerful he can "destroy zootopia with ease").

Somehow Judy actually starts to have feelings for the wolf, despite also having feelings for Nick and both have been tiptoeing around a relationship while living together. Judy marries the wolf, has sex with him (when she didn't have to because the wolf had a phobia of sex before Judy managed to calm him down) twice, both times enjoying it and practically instigating the encounters ("You need to do this, for me, the one you love"). The wolf basically keeps her prisoner though, not allowing her freedom and keeping her from seeing Nick. Nick and the ZPD finally rescue Judy, she feels a bit "hollow" from being separated from the wolf crimelord, who is also wanting to die because of what he has done and how he won't ever have Judy again. Judy has had morning sickness and craving chocolate, so she is probably pregnant with a wolf baby.

Oh, and some random detail in this universe where criminals can choose to either go to jail or be given a "contractor", having a shock collar on them and given as basically a slave to someone.

In the case of the OC Wolf/Judy, I doubt the author hates her.
