Yeah, you know. I like misleading pairing as much as the other guy, but with everyone cheering it, including Nick himself, it's kinda hard to take statement seriously. Judy having the only reason she's with Nick is because he's her boyfriend while Jack is the best thing in the world, everyone wants her with Jack and she herself is constantly thinking "Oh Jack~" while twiddling her thumbs. Sure you can have "and she kissed Nick and they were together forever" but you kinda already made Nick the guy who broke both shoulders for just a picture of him and Judy together, while Judy someone who was staying over and nuzzling Jack while her boyfriend is getting beat and thinking "Jack is the best thing ever", having cheat-tier gossip with other characters during her boyfriend fucking birthday after he left the jail. It's kind of hard to feel this is going to end well, even if Judy totally loves Nick now.

As an author who does reply to every comment I elaborate the thoughts behind my action.

I feel very honored for every comment I get on my work, because whoever left it took the time to express his positive support or creative criticizm towards my work that I created with my own hands. How should I put this... I feel like giving a response to them that I saw and noted their comments is the bare minimum that I should do to thank them for taking their time to give me some feedback on my work.

Yeah, that is the fic I am talking about. I couldn't help but laugh every single time a "platonic moment" happened between Jack and Judy; how does Judy not feel even the slightest amount of guilt for any of this? Because she "loves Nick" and is so sure of their relationship? In the latest chapter, when Nick is yelling at Jack because he sees how he "looks at Judy" and Jack tells him this isn't the time for "his insecurities" and that he "isn't trying to steal Judy away", I am just thinking that Nick hasn't even SEEN all the stuff those two have done together, imagine how he would feel then. Outside of making out, they all but act like they are a couple. Really the only things that Nick gets more of from Judy than Jack does is actual kissing, sleeping in the same bed and occasional sex.

Really makes me wonder why they seem to focus on the SavageHopps relationship shit and, considering the main villain group that focus on natural same species couples that can reproduce, ideas easily come to mind.

That sounds like something WildBurr would've wrote. In fact he did have a fic where Nick didn't want to have vaginal sex until he and Judy were married while Judy was constantly horny and wanted that know. So she got drunk, told Nick he's a shifty fox, and kicked him out. Then she went out to get even drunker and bang some random buck, wake up to Nick serving breakfast, to them and introducing himself as her roommate. The buck then proceed to brag about how hard he fucked Judy that night while eating Nick's breakfast. Then he left and Nick pretty much told Judy he's leaving her, and maybe the police force also. It's also implied that Judy got pregnant and Nick was going to propose her the very night she cheated on him. Then Eloquence happened and WildBurr deleted everything.

I seriously don't see the appeal of shit like this beyond the cheap shock value of watching a train wreck. It just leaves you feeling hollow and shitty.

Really, that is just what people sometimes want. They want to see just how much worse a situation can get, and how hard the trainwreck will hit. That fic from WildeBurr, Consequences, had even more potential of "Let us just fuck up these two people's lives completely". The buck could have posted about his "conquest" on social media, "Hey, I banged this hot doe who had a fox roommate", and eventually someone would have connected the dots. Judy would have gotten pregnant and have to deal with having a child on her own, since Nick wasn't staying for that shit. Really, the only "good thing" from that fic was that it was implied that foxes "mate for life" but Nick, never having sex with Judy, hadn't reached the state of complete commitment, so he went to a support group to help him through whatever lingering feelings he may have had.

Now, for something to make us laugh, apparently "ZOOTOPIA: THE SHITPOSTENING" got a sequel.

I remember there was one fic that had Judy with some buck she met when she returned home to Bunnyburrow during the Savage case, but it spent the first 8~ chapters with Nick somewhat depressed and abloo because he "loved Judy" but she was already with someone else. Quickly Nick started getting along with a vixen, Gideon's sister I think, and I just thought to myself "...What was the fucking point of all that? Couldn't we just have skipped that shit?" Personally, I find actual drama surrounding Wildehopps to be interesting, so long as the conflict is believable and the argument surrounds something real. When it's drama about one or both of them being unfaithful, it's garbage, but actual relationship fights written well are a welcome addition. It's just too bad nobody can fucking write them.

There isn't anything bad about WildeSky(e), hell Softlight's stuff made me into even more of fan of that ship. But the issue is something we see in a lot of WildeHopps fanfiction; the idea that Nick could be interested in someone else other than Judy rarely crosses people's minds. He HAS to be obsessed about Judy, completely in love with her to the end of his days because she changed his life around. He can't simply think of her only as a best friend that he would forever have the back of, he has to be romantically attached to her.

I ship the hell out of WildeHopp, I really do, but there are times where I just want to see Nick be with someone that isn't Judy/isn't male. I'd like to see more WildeSky(e), or even WildeViolet, even though that is basically pseudo-WildeHopps. Just for something different.

Those all seem really silly and contrived reasons.

Why can't it be that Nick just meets Skye in her repair shop during in an investigation as a witness or something. Maybe she works for Mr Big and repairs his cars, but then her shop got robbed and she is framed. Now Mr Big is after her, ZPD is after her, and only ones who actually want to help her are Nick and Judy, and then there can be some adventure, bonding, attraction, flirting and eventual WildeSkye romance.

Just an example of how it can totally work without any of that preconceived bullshit.

Aight let's see if I can remember it. (Since I think the author deleted the teaser event, that and it's been months.)
It was made and posted on the end of the prequel they did first, some time before the sequel was made. Though within the teaser Jack's name was never dropped nor did it state what Judy even did to Nick.

But Nick was going to join the BIG BAD organization (That I think they were fighting against?) that has constantly been talked about, but Judy is blocking Nick's way and refuses to back down (No idea where they were at, was never described.)

Judy was apologizing to Nick hoping he would forgive her, and he was down right furious at her. Nearly cursing her very existence and telling her that he would, NEVER forgive her for betraying him again. And that they could never go back to what they were before whatever she did to him.

Judy still refuses to back down, telling him that she still won't let him leave her. At that point Nick threatens her (I don't remember if it was bodily harm, or just a promise that he would do something to her.)

And at that point she starts to break down, realizing she cant stop him, and she was the one to push him to say those things. And instead shows her neck towards him.
Judy tells Nick that if she can't live with him anymore, she doesn't want to live at all. That she doesn't know what to do to ever get him to trust her again. And that she won't know how to live if Nick joins that group, so the only way she is going to let Nick go to that organization, is if he kills her.

And the teaser ends (I believe) at the sentence of "Nick start's to move towards her" or just at the last statement.

At that's it.

It's going to be a fucking mess, and I also only skim whenever a new chapter is posted. So at the most recent chapter has all but confirmed it, that Jack loves her and she is going to do something stupid.

The part that makes me angriest is I can see touches of Judy's actual character in there. She rushes into things, damn the consequences, until they're staring her in the face. She doesn't realize she's screwed up until it's done. That's a known facet of her personality.

But in applying it, the narrative ramps every other bit of character and relationship detail completely beyond the logical extreme. We jumped the shark straight off the planet and now we're headed for fucking Mars.

Judy rushing stuff is quickly becoming more annoying than Nick having no spine. Right now people are going around arguing it would be in character for Judy to shoot Nick in the back and chase a criminal if she was worked up enough for it and he stood in her way. Judy doesn't "ignore" consequences, she knows them and tackles them on. She didn't "wait I have to give my badge?" when Bogo asked her. -He gave insufficent time and no support (at least a partner) to Judy.
-Judy was not in the system even by the time of her thirt day of work. (Bogo probably even ordered the IT guys not to bother with it, because he will have this bunny kicked out in no time)
-He provided no proper transportation for an officer he "assigned" to an investigaion
-The fact that he bet on the succes of the investigation with a new recruit, is very unprofessional.

Bogo literelly did everything that was in his power to ensure Judy's failure despite that that could've costed Emmet Otterton's life! (In missing people cases, time is a very crucial thing. Yes he has been missing for 2 weeks, at which point Bogo probably assumed him dead, but a chief who would sacrefice 2 days of that missing mammal's time, just to get someone kicked out is something a federal investigation would consider as a crime

Yes, she didn't know she wouldn't have help at all, but she knew full well she would get her badge taken if she messed up, she just thought she could do it.

She was mature enough to understand she was walking into a bad situation (I mean, come on, big case, city she has no idea, boss who despise her, no experience), she was mature enough to handle the consequences. That is something I feel fanfics get sometimes, but set the stakes so high it isn't something that it changes the WHOLE character, and more often than not it isn't something that she can simply speech her way through. You can understand the movie where she fucks up with Nick, from all we know only predators were going savage and they were a threat, maybe she was insensible, that is one thing. She wasn't malicious, which people make her while saying "it's just due to how impulsive she is!".

Judy's own fault for forcibly taking a case not assigned to her and she was already on thin ice after the 'Weaselton Chase'. In his defence, Judy was a rookie and assigning a big case on someone fresh is what I would consider a bad move. As for the 'getting fired' part, I like to assume that that was an empty threat designed to scare her and something that he wouldn't act on if she failed to find Otterton.
