Using frames and guides is absolutely normal, but not so many. I remember you mentioned having troubles with three-dimensional volumes, however?
Still, compare using so many guides to using training wheels when learning to ride a bike: It might help you a bit to get the most rudimentary of grasp and feel, but if you use them too long you'll end up relying on them for too long as well. (And, like training wheels, you can in theory keep using them the rest of your life, but it's best if you learn to do without.)

It'll be uncanny and tough without, but you'll get all the more practice from it. Try using far fewer, more basic shapes to delineate the rough placement of shoulders, hips, etc. Use a line to establish the spine's path, etc.
This will force you into training your ability to visualize volumes projected onto two dimensions much faster.

What makes scales so lovable? Is it the feeling of power, the control of it? The cultures in between?

I think it's more a matter of body shape and anatomy, really, than the actual scales.

Certain kinds of lithe curves seem to be appealing to us, along with spines, claws and fangs. There are theories about this being a result of misattribution of arousal, stemming from primal associations with predators when seeing shapes like that. ..but I don't think that's true.

Anyway, even dragons without any visible/discernible scales are as appealing to people as those with visible ones.

There's this odd thing with horses, too; many people find their lithe, fit, yet curvy body shape appealing (even without being actual horsefuckers). Certain anatomical elements just play well with our senses, and dragons seem to embody a lot of them.
Couple this with the prevalent traditional associations with might, power, splendor and magnificence and what have you, and you have a pretty neatly packaged sperglure, all in one creature.

It's alright 6/10. There were some unanswered plot threads that really can't be ignored for the ending it wants to give us. There's not a whole lot of character development for the main characters either other than the tag-along sidekick.

This is an interesting clip. I was thinking about why this seemed cruel.

Of course, bullfighting is pretty cruel in general, but an entertaining spectacle nonetheless. I'm biased for liking scales but I feel like anyone would feel more bad for the raptor than if it were a bull. I think it's because the raptor is a lot more expressive than a bull is.
Bulls have smaller facial features that all kind of meld together to form a single shape with the rest of the head, their standout feature being their horns.

The raptor, on the other hand, has very big eyes and a big mouth, thus giving it more empathetic features. It's a lot easier to see the raptor feeling pain because of that. Even though a raptor is arguably much more dangerous than a bull due to its agility, cleverness, and sharp claws and teeth, in this situation it is being easily outplayed because in the end, it is still just an animal that thrives due to its environment. The raptor comes off as being helpless and vulnerable and it being killed off at the very end while it notices struggles makes it hard to watch.

Just a thought I had.

Well, see, I was really going to do a gift-exchange thing with a generous-anon from these threads, but as I took today off from studies, and saw the link above, I couldn't resist.

I'm still a bit emotionally trembling after Remy's bad end (and the repercussions of it, for him...)

The music is really nice! I wish the autosave feature saved at the start of every day or something, though, but that's just me being a pleb at games like these. (You pros probably have advanced saving algorithms for optimal tactical choicework)

Now I'm going full-banana. ...except I just realized (after having my heart broken by following tinydragon from the store---I seriously deal poorly with stuff like that. Oof) that I won't be able to get the banana good-end. Which sucks a bit, although I admit I kind of want to see the bad endings too.

Oof, Remy and Adine are just already taking me over entirely. From the first few bouts of dialogue with them I knew they were my favourites..
Also, I expected Anna to be more of a tsundere or "bitchy" character, really. Still not quite my type, but I like her feistyness. (I'd love to show her that despite our lack of claws, scales, fangs, etc, we humans have split the atom and glued it back together again lol)

Yeah.. I expected Bryce to be the option for social masochists, kind of. The character who always beats you down, unless you work real hard to get him to like you, whereafter he'll dom you and make lots of "you're mine" remarks and such. (It's the "white man's male tsundere", truly.)
Luckily, he seems more nuanced than that. I think I'll go with him on my next playthrough. ..or perhaps see if I can get Adine's true end.

I like Adine, as she's basically a normie with a human fetish. She's very relatable, from the fact she has to work paycheck to paycheck, surviving on noodles if she does a bad job... and she is a funny, lighthearted gal. (I think her first scene has really comfy music to lay around to) The good ends require you to have done some "things" that will unlock an extra choice, so it should be visible. (And by the way, how are you liking the main plot? With Reza and the Masked Figure)
