"Cathy" is, or was, a newspaper comic about a woman in the 90s and early 00s. It is INCREDIBLY obnoxious, and honestly is kind of antifeminist because it only ever portrays the main character as a mess. She's constantly stressed, constantly screwing up, constantly in over her head and having her inadequacies as a businesswoman and a girl exposed. She cries "Ack!" a lot, an expression of her horror and disdain at the world.

Yeah, I too am kinda annoyed by the huge influx of Mabel/Dipper/Wendy fats that tend to clog up these boards, so I decided to be the change I wanted and posted fats and edits of other characters to add some diversity. But I'm pretty happy to see that others have been doing a good job at posting wide variety of fats from other characters (The Supergirl edit, the fattened Minh... HNNNNNNNGH).

Speaking of edits, I really wish we had more edits of comic book girls like that one Moon Girl edit. It's a field full of untapped potential.
