Its a tired thread, but a comfortable one.
What are you all reading, listening to, hoping to see this TT?

Really hoping for some AU love for PI Nick and or Judy.
is now a bad time to ask for a link to the discord or what
>>9479518
I've been listening to a lot of Flaming Lips recently, just finish watching Part 4 of Jojo.
I'm looking forward to having something to contribute for once. I haven't really tried since the first TT, so that will be nice.

That's exciting man, looking to see a first TT submission.

You drawing or writing? Comic can help you out if you need some guidance throughout.
His private workshops are hella useful.
I like this. Have some bondage Nick.

Writing. I might take him up on it sometime, it's more 'how' than anything. How do I get one character from point A to point B? That kind of thing and that's more on me. The TT stuff can go well, that's easier I think. Just need to take the time.

Just dropping in to say this is real fucking funny to see.
Gentlest of reminders that Charlie/Remmy will be canon.
>>9480884
i mean it's okay, i can literally one click filter and then put another pastebin, it takes me less effort than the times he spends since i'm just gonna go check fics or vidya and then mass filter it
So to the guy who does this, what do you get out of this? Seriously, the only thing you are doing is stopping a couple dozen autists from adding pics to their discussion of a kids movie that came out more than a year ago.
>>9480933
He does it because he's angry about something.
He only goes after specific CCs and doesn't go after others, and he knows about things that go on in the threads and the discord.
He says he's two people, but he's one.
He's also been here since the very beginning of the threads and doesn't visit any other generals.
>>9480961
He also goes from faking not knowing english to speaking perfect english.
Someone who is depressed and cant get out of a habit brought on by being on /b/ for too long, and who likes these threads but can't stop from lashing out.

I would also recommend "Welcome to the Jungle" for anyone that is bored and doesn't have a longer story to read. It is basically a one-shot collection, some ideas falling flat, some alright, and some funny. There are a few chapters that turned into their own separate stories, specifically "Violet Diaries".
https://www.fanfiction.net/s/12058627/1/Welcome-to-the-Urban-Jungle
My personal favorite one-shot from this would be an AU where Judy goes on a blind date for the sole purpose of getting laid, while Nick goes on one to find "The One".
What else is everyone here reading tonight?
>>9482705

Just a few comments on Greentext Theatre.
Listened to the first one and it was a bit disorganised,as in not being sure if everybody was on the same page, making sure everyone equipment was ready and working, minor things like that.
I saw some comments from anons about not being sure exactly how the greens were to be formatted, not so sure myself?
I'm then debating whether it would be a good idea to have a little discussion about the work after it has been read, like a book club?
My concern being that in a group environment like this, there is a tendency to see who can pick the most faults instead of constructive criticism, and not putting out just a little praise now and then.
I know you do this (praise) well in your blind reads, but a group can get a little unruly.
Maybe a standardised format like;
-Someone reads green (points to grammatical and spelling as they go)
-Someone else does a quick synopsis of the story to see how it was interpreted,
-Group assessment of story, plot devises, execution,
-And a final 'enjoyment' comment by all.
Sorry if I'm trying to teach you guys how to suck eggs...

Naw, I turned 26 back in March. Been working for a couple years now. It's nothing special but it pays the bills and doesn't stress me out too much and lets me have a fair amount of free time, which is more than most people can say.
>Going to do more collabs or projects?
I have no plans to currently, but I know I will start and not finish a million more projects or collabs, while neglecting all of the shit I have already started, because that's just what I do.
Honestly I'm amazed with myself that I've gotten as far as I have with the Moped and Donk comic, it's been going on way longer than anything else I've ever attempted.
>>9483347
Because keeping out bugs is worth any expense. Bugs are the other reason why summer is the worst season.
>>9483108
Well more like a double/triple whammy, that just kept adding up.
They had been writing for Zootopia since it came out, and pretty much non stop, and they had start to get burnt out.
Along with their "Zoot-Hi" which was a rather fun (besides it's sizable short comings) that had a sequel to it. Which was chronicling what happened after it, but it wasn't a major project of theirs, thus not updated enough.
It had only like 3 or so chapters but had nearly 1,000 reviews to it.
Which were all guest reviews and was surmised to be all the same person slamming their inbox to get them to write more, until they finally just gave up and deleted it.
Lastly the "MafiaGuy" troll/freak, which made it his sole purpose to hackle and attack the author to "Take a Stand", sighting how messed up and wrong that Judy is a step parent and everything else in that fic.
MafiaGuy had also made a number of chapters/"stories" where he would use other characters made by authors along with the authors themselves, and trying to enact a "War" between side's of the fandom.
Mafia had originally acted like 1tT4k3sTw0's was a friend of theirs but seemed to have changed when that racoon OC was introduced in "The Violet Diaries" And then preceded to attack them constantly.
Where they then decided that leaving FF and said troll (hopefully) and going over to Ao3 (where they were already established as a solid back up account) But they said it in a way that only the one's that know of them would know where to find them. But an entitled jackass that thought they were doing "good", and thought that 1tT4k3sTw0s was handling it poorly, straight out pretty much told where the troll could find them next.
And I think at that point 1tT4k3sTw0 just decided to throw in the towel. And I don't blame them.
>>9483370

I am so glad our resident autist just spams images and makes threads
Hey thread, two things, and I'm gonna apologize ahead of time because one of them is a tad blog-posty
1: Just found out at the end of August I'll be moving to Japan with my wife, where she'll be teaching English and I'll be translating. If these threads are still around there is a very real possibility I might help Rikuo and other authors release their comics in English even faster. Who knows.
2: Gonna be up all night tonight doing a Japanese assignment anyway, so if you have any one-shots or small comics you want to see translated I'm definitely in the mindset at the moment.

>numerous attempts at comics that COULD have continued past where I left them off and I thought about it but I didnt
>Multiple RPG Maker games
Those are the things that stick out in my mind at the moment
Lurker here.
Is "finishing" stuff the hardest part of making stuff?
>>9483481
Yes and no.
When there's been a large gap in production and you're having trouble finding the energy to finish it, yes. When it's just business as usual and you're working at a steady pace, no. I've dealt with both, so I'm pretty sure.
It's difficult when you finally decide that you're "done", for sure, but actually putting the final paragraph or shade to paper isn't.
>>9483481
For writers if you outline beforehand not that much.
Its probably worse for artists to decide when they are done with a particular piece
>>9483407
If it helps the typesetter is here too
>>9483445
>Freezing cold
>Sneeze every five minutes

>Warm sunny day
>Spend it at the pool
>Comfortably walking around in T-shirt and shorts
>When I look outside it doesn't seem a graveyard
>If I want cold with air conditioning I have glacial temperatures in a matter of minutes
>>9483481
Depends from the work.
Sometimes you have an ending in mind, but it is difficult to reach it. Sometimes it is difficult to finish because you don't know how to tie everything together nicely. Sometimes it all comes natural
>>9483481
I can only speak for myself, though I have heard similar things from a few of the other CC's I interact with.
Finishing stuff is really hard. Starting stuff can be hard, but usually starting something is only hard because of how far away you anticipate finishing it is going to be. If I told my past self before I first drew that image of Donk behind the wheel that if I drew it and posted it, it would expand into a big huge thing of 40 images, the majority of which are full pages with multiple panels each, I might never have started that drawing in the first place. The creative spark for me rarely lasts outside some weird past-midnight hours, and if I take too long to continue working on something, like longer than a day, I use that as justification for not working on it the next day, and the next day, and so on.
>>9483527

>I BET YOU HATE SNOW, TOO
I actually love snow, but it's not like you can have a Tundratown-like climate control where you have nice, dry snow.
No, 90% of the time is that stupid wet snow that becomes immediately sludge.
Compare this with a refreshing rain during a summer day

Goodnight /ztg/!!!
>>9483976
A rather unfortunate study from an artist showing actual signs of some ability, although I suspect a bit of tracing here and there.
Also, why does Nick have two left feet?
>>9484214
I'm coming too! scoot over
>tfw can still stay up late enough to keep bumping my own threads
God, I love being a shitposter.
:^)
>>9484226
cause im not actually a good artist whatsoever ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.
>go to bed
>wake up
>a billion fucking thread

Are there wild foxes out there that are as gay as Nick?
>>9484510
Your father is gay
>>9484510
Maybe. would explain all the furry foxes being gay
>>9484510
>gay as Nick
Don't remember Nick showing any signs of being gay in the movie?
Some fairy trying to self insert again?
Anons, I want you of the dead hours to choose.
Since I have to do TT, I'm left with little time (combined with work I have to do), so I think today I can do only a simple lewd.
I have the following in list: Gertie (hyena), Alice (shrew), Grant (polar bear) or Duke+Travis
>>9484712
I don't know which of those I'd like the most, so allow my roll to decide
1-3: Gertie
4-6: Alice
7-9: Grant
0: Kris (I know it's not on the list but you do her well)
Dubs+: Duke + Travis
>>9484733
The dubs have spoken, Duke x Travis it is
>>9484488
wtf does that mean
>So that other general with all the pathetic Inflation and diaper shit is dead? Good fucking riddens.
^Said the ztg faggot. I don't give a shit about inflation and diaper threads. If it triggers you THAT much why don't you stay in your own fucking thread instead of going full retard.
>>9483407
Just saw this, congrats TL! Hope best of luck in Japan buddy.
About translation, pic related?
>>9484861
>>9482783
I liked Stoutwell, was a good fun read and hit the same cheesy police itch I got form the movie.
Speaking of which will there be more from that author this TT?
>>9484950
Now this, this is what I like to see. Two characters with clashing ideals realizing they cannot give ground. Judy down to earth and cold logic fueled by desire to make the world a better place while Nick with his always idealistic and optimistic view of the world causing attrition on their relationship. I cannot wait for the next five pages, the critique of this comic is so high level I am wondering if these threads CCs shit on it because they'll never reach this many readers and so deep within their readers psyche. The fact this is a Zootopia fancomic posted on dA aches my heart, as it is pearl thrown to the pigs, but if it can convince a single pig to tackle a higher level of thought than "judy &nick zoo xD", then it was worth it.

Think she's doing a bit better
>>9485079
Would you still make Caitlyn your waifu if you knew her mother looks like this?
>>9485079
That's great to hear, seems like she's getting her mojo back pretty quickly. I'm kinda jealous.
>>9485082
I love Caitlin!
>>9480580
This.
>>9485091
Only if she agrees never to use those eye shadows and lipstick.
>>9484989
I must rebuke thee, the coldness and lack of willingness from either of them to give in to the other or to even try to find a middle ground is the dawnfall of the believability of the play. Real couples coming to the realization that thier decision will hurt the one they love will try to reach compromise. However these two do not feel like lovers facing a dilemma they feel like protesters arguing in public. Thus I must ask thee, is the believability of the scene and the likeliness of the characters a worthy sacrifice to make in the name of represent point in an argument? I don't believe so. If the scene and characters are not believable and we can't empathize with them that undermines the very ground their argument should stand on.
Judy knows it isnt nick's, thats why she doesn't want it
>>9485137
Why can't you unpolite fucks quote the original post so you get filtered. I'm starting to think you actually know that and over the fear of getting filtered you avoid quoting.
>>9485132
You probably can't empathize because you never got laid.
>>9485164

To this day I can't tell if Remmy is making that face because Betty is naked in his bed or if she's snoring. I think is the former since most artist make bigger z's to indicate snoring
>>9485898
well the biggest indicator that explains to the viewer the situation of an embarrassed Remmy waking up to find a butt naked wolf on the other half of the bed, possibly post coitus, is a rather obvious one: the blush.
Rip Moore, Roger Moore.
>>9486160
When we hit page 9, do we make a new thread or use one of the clone ones?
is the the One True Thread?
>>9486193
I suggest the second one.
>>9486053
Oh wow my stupid ass just noticed Remmy blushing. I guess snoring is out of the question
>>9486215
How do we choose?
>>9486193
