wow took you long enough
thanks for baking

I wasn't paying attention sorry, I was watching the factorio update notes, also, this is the first time I've been able to create a thread in months.
>>9458051
I have two sets of encyclopedias. I like to read the crafts stuff in both of them when I am bored. One of them has redundant stories about history I find interesting enough to read.
like this one story about how people were made according to indians, there was a big dinosaur that would inhale animals and everyone was scared of him, but one day a wise fox stood up to them, decided he would save everything that was inhaled by it so it pretended he had a plan to not get inhaled by holding on to a vine, the dino challanged him and eventually broke his vine with a big suck but what he didn't know was that was the foxes plan all along, he took a sharp rock inside his stomach with him and cut his way out and freed all the wildlife and killed the monster, the monster was not dead however, so not knowing what to do, he cut up the monster into people and made different kinds of people from different parts of it and it's why there are so many different races. so we're all children of the fox and that monster according to some obscure indian tribe that probably doesn't exist anymore.
>>9458485
Informative and entertaining. How are the historical accounts redundant?
I printed out wikipedia just in case they go out of business. It is over a million pages but it's well worth it.
An interesting creation story. It has hints of others I have heard but I like the role the fox plays. In a way humans did come from monstrous things.
https://youtu.be/V_h7Lm7C9Nk?t=1m16s
>>9458597
Redundant to me because I am not very interested in historical/political issues. I think people typically delve into this out of their own desire to understand social behavior between different people and how it lead to notable events and then use that understanding to forecast outcomes of current social events and ideas.. Many people get involved with this like how many people join art and drama class in school but only an infinitesimal portion of those ever learn any practical information that reaches further than being able to argue the subject around friends and give off this pseudo aura of intelligence. The effort put into this could have been better spent elsewhere, like finding a way to sterilize the population of India.
>>9459218
How's it going Interrogator?
>>9459297
Good, just got back from my little brothers high school graduation party. I also found my class ring while at my dads too.
How well are you feeling today?
>>9459291
I love reading skitty paragraphs.
>>9459341
been ok today, but the last hour hasn't been too pleasant.
must have been a pretty nice school to get a class ring.
I think mine came third in state my year and we got a shitty over priced jersey we had to pay for.
Though, I did get a ring in my family's tradition for my 21st birthday.
>>9459414
What kind of ring was it, was it just a gold band?
>>9459436
How did things go for you today blew?
>>9459291
Studying history could be very helpful when planning the sterilisation of India. What is so wrong with studying history to see how it affects the future? Do you think there is nothing redeeming about having a casual interest in the arts? What was the last book you read in its entirety? How is the lightning?
>>9459473
pretty good, sold another lightsaber so thats always fun. How's your day going?
>>9459473
Buckle ring, with a sapphire.
Probably my most prized possession.
>>9459291
skitty understands social behavior perfectly. anytime someone does something he doesnt like or that perplexes him he will screech "MUH MENTAL GYMNASTICS" and then masturbate at them until they agree with him.
>>9459493
Pretty good went to my little brothers high school graduation and hung out with family for awhile.

>>9459736
>>9459757
I didn't know that.
Either way I've always liked sapphires... simply the best and most beautiful gemstone.
I mean, what's the point in any others?
All that happens when you get them is that you regret not having bought a sapphire.

>>9459488
lol, I was playing I don't hate indians. I think they're funny, I feel kind of bad for how much /g/ makes fun of them. Like there was this guy on twitter who was an indian and he posted an insiders review of windows 10 s and someone got that and made a thread and suggested only pajeets use windows now and they were just bashing indians over it.. lol like poor dude he was just doing what he likes and these dudes turn it into a full on technological race war.
also i'm just not so interested in history because I don't have an urge to forecast social events on a large scale. It's kind of how you are in a thunderstorm, you're stuck in it, there's not much you can do about it from your position, I'm not inclined to poke my head out and try to manipulate it. I'm just glad to have spawned in it to observe its turbulent nature.
>Do you think there is nothing redeeming about having a casual interest in the arts?
Yeah, I guess so. I like to consider technology to be a more practical/useful art, and when I say technology, I mean in its primitive sense where it alludes towards tools and such. A car is a tool, a dozer, the browser you use to post here.. the water bottle on my desk..
I can't remember what book I've read, I like to think I do a lot of reading but my reading only goes into subjects of my interest. This is where a lot of my reading goes into https://devdocs.io/ if you're interested..
the lightning is gone, i got called to ask if there was light at my house, friends south of me got hit hard and are without electricity, seems my side of town is the only side with electricity atm.

>>9459558
>this coming from the guy that expressed legitimate confusion when confronted with a free haircut and could only come to the conclusion that the only motive behind anyone doing something for someone means sex needs to be involved otherwise doing anything for a "friend" is pointless and doesn't make sense
I'm sorry you are this mentally challenged.
>>9459966
I didn't think you did. It does need to sterilised though; the streets run brown with waste and the left hands of the populace are stained with sin. Making fun of Indians online is a popular pastime these days /r/indianpeoplefacebook/
I am not surprised it is a thing on /g/. Indians and tech go hand in hand these days with the outsourcing of tech support call centers.
I understand that, but there is so much more to historical study than using it as a lens to predict the future or understand current times. Are you happy to have been born in the time you were?
You can do both, choosing one does not have to eliminate the other and each is useful in its own way.
I expected as much. And I understand that you have likely consumed quite a bit of technical literature. I am interested only because you are. I know that you like to have some form of entertainment though. Books can be an excellent form of escapism.
That was brief. It's weird, based on the radar it seemed much worse than the night the lightning ruined my great escape in autism blocks. Guess you got lucky. Speaking of, it's sort of sad, I had a passion project in the works which your knee jerk reaction cut short.
>>9460269

How much further up? You don't seem too confident in the future of humanity.
Yes let's, I have all the time in the world. I was collecting every rose in the world to give to you and was rudely interrupted by the storm.
Welp, just watched John Oliver with my parents. Why is this man so predictable?
>>9460776
>>9460761
LOL, pls. you dug a hole in my pig pen and hide inside for 30 minutes when the thunderstorm knocked out the server indefinitely.
>i have all the time in the world
didn't you say you were traveling last night? You're done?
>>9461112
Wow okay
I did not simply dig a hole and hide. I was in the process of making an elaborate tunnel system that would lead the pigs to freedom at the bottom of the mountain. It would have been time consuming but worth it to free the poor swine from slavery and worse. Later on I changed tack and decided to collect flowers while you were gone so I could have a nice surprise for you. oh. no I was not necessarily traveling. https://www.poetryfoundation.org/poems-and-poets/poems/detail/42891
>>9461212
>>9461212
LOL well hey i still do have a copy of that server so if we ever wanted to play again and there were enough people and interest, i could just start it up and take off right where we left off.
Oh, I see. I might not get it but I see.
>>9461289
Surely it will happen some time in the future or in an alternate universe at least. Anyways I have little desire to go back, my plans are foiled, the surprise of my most generous gift is ruined, and the game itself seems aimless. Perhaps if we could venture to the ender dragon it might provide for some fun.
I did have to go some miles on a bike but I wouldn't count it as traveling. wyd
>>9460822
So all of this shit is just mass hypnotism? Why am I even watching it? I'd be better off just spending that time watching cartoons.
>>9461401
>Perhaps if we could venture to the ender dragon it might provide for some fun.
yeah that is usually the objective and what I had in mind, but the journey there isn't just as simple as "lets just go", there is a lot of preparation that goes into it... autistically collecting items by venturing the dangerous lands for them and bringing them back home and then safely making the things you need, storing them away and then digging into the ether to make a tunnel to an end portal, going back and collecting your shit and then going into the end realm to prepare things... I even know how to make an end ship, or a little self propelled platform that takes you away from the end island and out into the other places to find the magic cape that lets you fly.
I was kind of preoccupied looking for a good desktop email client that isn't something like thunderbird. I think I found this thing called shift but I'm not liking it the more I try it.

Yeah I've done it like 3 times. Once with wuma but cheats were involved, then another with i don't remember who and the last time i was with Ruby.
The most fun one was with Ruby because he really prepared for it and we had a solid plan down and executed it well, kinda.
Well, I never really needed it.. It's just a luxury thing..
smaller version, there we go

Your so considerate for our mobile posters.
>>9462000

oh, didn't know you had already done it. Would it even be fun a fourth time? I wonder if you can get the story mode on a cracked version. There are probably better games to play, need to think of some options. Okay.

no one told me I would explode and die.
also i just remembered, the other time was with RK.
>>9462248
yeah, I still find it fun.
dude that windows 10 story mode is some autistic bullshit, don't even
i got it through windows 10 and it's some crap designed for toddlers, basically it's a game that plays itself, there is no camera control and the whole point is that you press buttons to make the story line progress, there is nothing interesting to it. It's basically minecraft for 5yo's or something
>>9462427
... in what other medium would one shove a didgeridoo up someone's ass? im curious what you were thinking this was about...

seeing as how they can hardly manage a competent developer team since they've replaced everyone internally with pajeets, trans and black people because their previous CEO was fired due to not conforming to political correctness, I don't doubt that future will be a reality soon enough
their previous CEO now leads development of a chromium based browser called brave which is a hilarious middle finger to mozilla and firefox
>>9462517

>>9462721
its Madonna, you goof
>>9462735

>>9462697
Well if brave make it out I will use it. I hate the trend of being PC for no reason but to brag about it.
>>9462758
Madonna was a famous disco band. They all died when their plane crashed South of Dover in 78. They called it the Delaware Disco Massacre. I should probably chickun one of their albums
>>9462778
brave is shit and just the CEOs desperate screams from the ocean as he drowns in desperation. It's features are built in add blocking and cloud synching and replacing websites advertisements with advertisements paid to the CEO.
>>9462842
Firefox has sucked for years, chrome is fast but annoying, cloud syncing is good and if the adds get bag I'll look for something else.
people theorize whether or not we could terraform mars into something more earth like, wouldn't it be easier to just do that with earth since it's closer to our end goal?
>>9462926
i like the cloud synch stuff too, makes it easier for me to have my site logins/passowrds saved accross my browsers/phone/OSs
>>9462938
I don't want cloud anything. Just give me a browser that doesn't suck.
>>9463001
A lot of the motivation behind colonizing mars is due to the forecasting of future on earth, the current direction it is headed is not a good one by most peoples accounts so the idea is to colonize mars and start a civilization there, then maybe one day we could have it reach a point where it is somewhat reminiscent of earth. If people are so confidant we can keep earth looking like earth, what says we will have any luck doing it with a place like mars?

>>9463052

>>9463085

WOW LEWD
I just woke up and remembered this random thing from 5th grade, my teacher took the class out into the woods hiking on native american day, our goal: find arrow heads or indian stuff in general. Since I live on a ranch I find arrow heads all the time and know how to find them, they're always where the water runs the most when it rains so I went about looking for them, found one and so did others but I still wanted to find things on the way back so I was satelliting the group looking for stuff when I spotted the MOTHER LOAD of indian things, a wood pipe with FUCKING FEATHERS, I couldn't believe my eyes it was so well preserved, I had never seen anything like it so you could imagine my astonishment at the historical treasure I had just unearthed and I ran back to the group and everyone was so jealous, then the teacher came in to see what the commotion was all about and slapped the fucking pipe out of my mouth and screamed it was hippy drugs and never to touch it again.

>>9466309
omg im farting and almost crapped
and the next thing is I forgot the picture
>>9466293
enthralling saga
could it be that it was not truly of native american origin and was in fact for smoking hippy drugs in modern times? I'm not sure the feathers could be so well preserved after such a long time. maybe i am picturing it in a better state of preservation than it was. either way you should have kept it what the heck

>>9466343
massive weight loss leads to bad bowels control
>>9466326
Maybe I wasn't clear. The pipe wasn't native american indian stuff at all. It was just some shitty smoke shop pipe some assholes used to smoke weed in the woods behind the school where I found it. Maybe I should have guessed it was unlikely that you would find Indian stuff right across the fence from a park lining the school and some woods :P
>>9466325
rk pls
>>9466345
Oh, you know.. the usual.
>>9466347
Hm. Didn't know that.
>>9466368

I had more of a nap than sleep really. Hoping I can stay up to at least 5 or 6 or something so I can get back on a normal sleep schedule..
>>9466332

>>9466392

>>9466357
still should have kept it, never know when you will need a peace pipe. i guess i thought you were deeper in the woods than right next to the school. do you have any reservations around? I once made the mistake of playing with fireworks on one with near dire consequences.
>>9466375
yeah, hi
I think we slept for about the same time, you got an hour or bit less maybe. i like the initiative but is going to sleep at five a normal sleep schedule? remind me to order those things today. what do you think about this toilet?

>>9466418
I'm sorry.
>>9466402
Yeah I failed to mention it was on our way BACK when I found it.. we had ventured into the woods and found bones and arrow heads and then on our way back I found it right across the fence from a park LMFAO! I had really thought I found something..
Reservations? Like indian reservations? No I don't think so, it's not uncommon to see indians though. What happened?!
You like playing with fireworks don't you.
nah it's not normal by most accounts but it helps lazilly get closer to one, in small increments. Just like how we're both literally fucking DYING. In really small increments at a time......

>>9466518
LMAO!
Not much. I did not know it was Indian land, it just looked like a basketball court. I put some fireworks in a cinderblock I found and exploded it and the next thing you know thirty Cree braves ran out with hatchets raised, letting loose a fearsome war cry. If you know anything about the Crees you will know this was a dangerous situation, they are not known for their mercy. Luckily I had a collection of beads and a finely woven blanket, which I likely traded for my freedom or my life. I have never gone back.
We may be both dying but at different rates. You are like the usain bolt of dying. i said that before but whatever. yeah i know though, it works, but you could just be a normal guy and go to bed at eleven.
Just effing remind me to order them jfc.

OK, I'll try.
I think I'd rather spend that kind of money on a glow room.
As in I would use it to make a really dark room, line the edges of everything with assorted glowing colors, mushrooms and probably something in the middle that looks like a weeping willow chandelier that glows and stuff and also some fish tank with colorful fish and build one of these to put somewhere in there https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NXD7Dfo7Ngo

>do you mean with uv lights with neon and stuff?
no, I've done that with my old room, that hurts the eyes... and it's not as cool as what I picture. I mean use that car neon stuff people use to line edges of stuff so it looks all tron and stuff, but like do it with EVERYTHING so it all looks 3d and stuff, i've always wanted to do something like that. must be complicated to set up though.
i gave away my UV lights to a friend like 7 months ago.
>>9466955
huh, well.. be careful
>>9467017
doc told me no drinking then asked about my dick scars/wounds then said no jerking
>>9467007
I actually have no idea where i am. it has been some time
oh so like neon led strips and stuff? yeah that's cool as heck. i will wrap the new toilet with that stuff. yeah the uv lights aren't great for your eyes. i do worry about you though, never once leaving your den of darkness deprives you of vitamin d and the healing and safe uv rays from the sun. plans today?
>dick scars/wounds
>>9467063
>not dick dicing
>>9467052
I'm just as curious as your doctor. How did you scar your dicks?
>>9467055
I'm not sure if you're serious. I do leave my DEN sometimes, not for very long at day. I fucking HATE the sun. Also I'm sure I get enough vitamin D, I eat lots of fish.
I don't have any plans, just avoid the sun and watch AT and stay close to my phone.
Do you have plans?
>>9466304
>>9467121
Yeah exactly, your vampiric hatred of the sun will brittle your bones and feeble your body. The sun is dope af sometimes what the heck. It can also suck. I think I would hate it there as well. Not sure if you can get all you need from fish unless you truly have a ton, and it has to be the right sort. You'd be better off taking D3 supps. Three minutes of sunlight every week is not enough. If you need any more i have some Vitamin D i can give you
Expecting a call?
Not really, just avoiding the overseers and eagerly waiting for wednesday.
>>9467132
Hiya Rap!!!!
Visit go well I hope?
it's a suppository btw
>>9467168
Nah screw that dumb giant hellscape of hydrogen and helium floating up there I don't like it. Three minutes is more than enough. I'd rather take your D supplements.
Yeah, maybe. I'm not sure.
Oh, overseers? What's special about Wednesday?
>>9467169
I'm on a medicine that should help, but it'll take a coupe days to kick in.
if it doesn't I'll need to have an endoscopy.
but!
Either way I'm going to head to bed now, have a good one canon
>>9467253
Well hope you feel better in anycase, nighty!

Holy shit internet concepts of what shit would look like today ten years ago was fucking disgusting
mozillas Aurora browser concept must have been the brainchild of a hippy that ate meth for breakfast, navigating the web with a bunch of tiny badges orbiting a few select hardly visible keywords on a screen? the fuck is wrong with u
>>9467242
>I'd rather take your D supplements.
I guess we will have to go to iceland in the winter, when the days are shortest.
Oh. Is it what I think it is or is it something new? Yes, they are the lords of this fief and it is best to stay out of their vision. out of sight out of mind. i get to leave this place to attend jury duty, or at least that is what I have told them. In reality my reporting dates have been cleared, but they do not know that and I will take this opportunity to escape.
>>9467343
Same thing.
