Neat. Didn't have to make this one myself. Progress. Had a pic ready but this one is better.

Remember to make your human happy

They can become savage if you don't satisfy him/her needs...

Well, later I will post some progress of my ""rape"" little story,

Not a writefag, but just a interesting idea i had a while ago.

I want to make a story where technologically advanced feral snek ayys abduct a human as a pet/service animal. All the sneks would have machines they perch on and use to walk and manipulate the world but humans are the most comfortable pirch.

My head hurts to think all the things on how can work if humans were the pets.

Would they walk in 4-legs?
It's fucking weird to see a human with clothes?
Would be still exist feral animals to make the ecosystem work?

A copy paste of my story from the last thread
>"Ladies and gentlemen, today is the day you've been waiting for..." says a bunny women in the suit holding the microphone
>Every anthro in the bleachers leans towards the field filled with colorful slides, seasaws, and balls
>"I give you... THE HUMAN SHOW!" The bunny women raises her arms with excitement as the audience jumped off from their seats and giving out their cheer
>Meanwhile in the backstage, a green lizard girl with a (fake) darker green afro looked behind the thicc red curtains staring a dozens of anthros looking excited. This started to make her feel uneasy
>"Oh..., anon," she said, "I'm not sure if joinning the Human show was a good idea. I mean look at all those people!"
>Anon peeked behind the curtains only to see a Roster's Hu-meat stand in the area making anon licking his mouth.
>"Anon, PLEASE don't embarrass me in front of THOUSANDS of anthros especially that were in LIVE!"
>Anon didn't hear what his owner said making the afro lizard frustrated only to shift her tone to anger to fear as a poodle appear in the backstage
>"Oh look, Siner, it's that lizard who wishes to have hair!" The smug poodle said, "What are you doing here, Lizzie?"
>"I dunno. What else we think we be doing?" Lizzie bites back at the smug bitch
>"Me? Me and Siren came here to win of course!" The poodle's pet human, with a blue shining hair and a suit, stood proudly

I love Hu-meat

>"Well today is your lucky day 'cause Roster's homemade HuMEAT is here to solve those needs! A place Were me, me and mai wife fried our healthy and stuffed human in our farms and turn them into something DE-liciously good!"
>"Stop by to our resturaunt so you and your family can have a DE-lightfully time together!"

The Smooth Among us:
Chapter 3

>Trum managed to react faster than I did. In a matter of heartbeat he was standing next to me, with his spear raised.
>In a second heartbeat his spear was going down with intent to kill.
>Although heavily armored, his spear found a place between the armor and pierced the flesh.
>A silent wet noise could be heard and coughing stopped.
>"Hotam!" he growled. "If you stand still, Ancients will surely kill you." Lecturing me on the ways of the battle, he retrieved his spear from the dead Ancient one.
>"Its..." I mumbled, looking down at the metallic doll. Trum turned his attention to the doll too.
>"It was this thing." I said, looking on the doll. Gripping the spear, I squatted next to it.
>Lowering my face to see through the small slit on the head, as if the little space could enlighten me about the nature of this doll.
>I saw two eyes, both of them closed, or so it appeared. The lack of light was proving to be a problem.
>There was however person inside all of this metal, however, it was no lizardman, for it was far too small for any lizard face to fit in. It was also not one of the wolves, but I couldn't tell with certainty that there was not a cat inside.
>Whatever it was, it was breathing, silently, but regularly.
>"It's alive, whoever is inside has killed these Ancient ones." I deducted.
>Trum seemed a little skeptic. "It alone killed two ancient ones ?" He asked.
>"I don't know. What I know is, it is injured, and we need to go back." I tried to reason with him.
>"You want to bring this back? Instead of the meat?" he asked, not believing his ears.
>"It is a great warrior." I said, standing up from the doll and trying to roll the dead ancient one off its feet.
>"It might be one of Cat-folks, they might help us if we help them." I said, trying with all my might to push the corpse off it.
>Trum was standing there, uncertain.
>"We'll take this and as much meat as we can carry, but I need your help Trum." I said once again.
>>
>>9450578
>This time around, Trum moved to help me, but not before he voiced his disproval "I still think this is a bad idea."
>With his help, it was still a little difficult to roll the ancient one off the ... Armored one.
>When we finally managed to get it off, I saw how badly injured was the Armored one.
>the armor on his side was bent inwards. There was also a plate of metal on his thigh that literally bit into his thigh through the chainmail. Blood was dripping through that place.
>Suddenly, I was not so sure that the Armored one will survive the whole trek to our village.
>Meanwhile Trum was cutting some selected pieces from the Ancient one, and putting them in his bag.
>I gave the Armored one another look, wondering exactly what or who was hidden inside the armor.
>Then I dropped my smaller sack and was about to gather the meat from the Ancient one too, but something else caught my eye. It was the weapon with which the Armored one fought. The Intricate one, which I pulled out of the corpse earlier.
>I had no idea about who was inside the armor, but I knew pretty well that no warrior would want to lose his weapon, no matter how broken it was.
>The handle was broken, but the head was intact, so I put it in the sack too, only after that I had Trum to cut off some pieces for me to carry.
>Once our pouches, bags and backpacks were full. It was time to lift the Armored one.
>"I will take him under shoulders, you take his legs." I said and Trum shook his head.
>"You forget your own injuries. I'll take him under shoulders."
>Having nothing against that, He moved over while I grabbed his feet.
>When he held him under the shoulders it was a matter of strength to lift him up.
>While saying "Lift him up" was easy, lifting the armored one was no small feat.
>"H-heavy!" Trum groaned, almost buckling under the weight of the Armored one.
>I put the Armored one's legs back to the ground and walked over to Trum's side, grabbing the Armored one under the shoulder.
>>
>>9450594
>This way we'll drag the armored one on the ground, which will not help with his injuries, but we will eventually get back home.
>The trip however wasn't going to be easy. We were an twenty minutes away from the Village when our strength ran out.
>"I-I can't carry him anymore." Trum said, gasping for air. I was in similar condition.
>We needed to rest, but it was already dark. The Ancient ones will be on the prowl already.
>Not to mention that they will be angry about the two dead ones.
>We needed to get back fast or Armored one will not be the only one who will be badly wounded.
>"Leave the food here." I said, and I could already see Trum getting angry.
>"Leave it, and leave me, run to the village, bring others, I'll guard the food and the Armored one."
>His anger dissipated in a matter of seconds. He seemed to consider it.
>"Go, you are faster than me." I urged him.
>That got him moving, he hastily dropped the sack, and was about to leave.
>However he turned around once more and said "Be safe." before leaving.
>With Trum's disappearance, the moon-lady's light suddenly felt dimmer.
>Lizardmen could see in the darkness, but even with that It felt like darkness was creeping in.
>It will take Trum approximately ten minutes to reach village without burden, and another ten to twelve to return.
>For that time, I'm the sole guardian of the food and of the Armored one. With the meat all around me however, I'm a bait too. There was a chance that the smell will attract predators.
>However for the time being, I was safe. "Nothing should be this close to the village." I assured myself out loud.
>I looked over to the Armored one, whose armor was dirty from the way we've dragged him, it also accumulated some mud making him heavier.
>Through the whole time we've dragged him, he was unconscious. Save for occasional coughing fit and bleeding, we wouldn't be sure if he was dead or not.
>>
>>9450611
>The bleeding was a serious problem, and I tried to come up with a way to stop it, but I couldn't find the herbs that help to stop bleeding in the night.
>The application of said herbs would also be problematic, because you need to put them in the wound, not on the armor.
>We will need to figure out how to take off the armor later.
>I had some free time now to rest my feet, however I needed to keep my eyes open. Tasting the wind did not reveal anything, so I risked a little and sat down.
>My mind wandered back to the dead Ancient ones, and how the Armored one managed to kill them.
>I took out the broken weapon from my sack, and for the third time, I examined it.
>It was not a single weapon, but three in one. There was a sharp point like our spears, but there was also a blade resembling the tool which cutters used on trees.
>The name of those tools escaped me however. The third piece was a hammer, a metalshaper' tool.
>I however remember the hammer, the tool had much shorter handle, even now Armored one's weapon had longer handle than the hammer.
>My interest piqued, I put the weapon back into the bag and started to examine the Armored one once again.
>That was however cut short, as I heard a twig snap.
>Fast as a lightning, I picked up my spear from the ground and turned around to face a wild dog.
>It tried to jump on me and tear my throat open. I was unable to position my spear fast enough so I used it to defend myself.
>The pounce didn't force me on my back as one would expect. I took a few steps back, but my back hit a tree.
>The canine attempted to bite me in my face instead, as I held it away from my face.
>Using my tail to push myself away from the tree, I pressed the hound on its back and turned the tables on him. choking him with a spear and biting his nose off.
>I however had no time, because wild dogs usually attack in groups.
>>
>>9450623
>Letting go of the spear with one hand I drove my clawed hand into his eye and gripped.
>The dog gargled as I put one feet under me while using the hand still firmly gripping his skull from inside and outside to push myself back up.
>However I already had another dog on my back.
>I could feel it's bite on my backs, the pain was intense.
>However just as Ancient one hit me with its tail, I hit the dog, but he wouldn't let go. Holding with his teeth and trying to rip off my shoulder.
>Letting go of the first dog I grabbed my spear and drove it into the side of the second dog while roaring in pain, the spear broke at the head.
>The dog let go of my now bleeding shoulder. The pain was almost too much.
>I could hear an angry barking, there was another one, but he was keeping his distance.
>Probably waiting for me to make a mistake, that or die.
>It was circling me.
>But I still stood on my feet, so turning to face him was not a problem.
>Grabbing my the head of my spear from the downed animal, I took a defensive stance with an impromptu knife.
>Why is he circling me like that?
>Coughing fit from behind me made me turn around for a second, only to see the fourth one trying to sneak up on me.
>However as I turned my head, the one in the front attacked.
>In that moment, I knew it will fare badly for me, for I was also losing a lot of blood

>The pain was intense, and all that bleeding made me feel lightheaded.
>For a few seconds I was sure that I lost my weapon, only to find it back in my hands.
>The aggressive snarling and barking meant that I was still in danger.
>This is no time to seize up and die.
>My vision was blurry, but I knew where the enemies were.
>It was my duty to offer protection to those who need it.
>Standing tall, against all odds, that is how I did it up until now.
>So I did just that, Standing tall, with a broken weapon.
>>
>>9450640
>In that moment, I knew that Isol needs help.
>The Rogue clad in green was being assaulted by wolves.
>Stabbing the one who was clinging on him from front, I knew I had to get the one going for his back.
>He was three steps away from me, and my right leg refused to move without excessive pain. My ankle was probably broken and I was injured somewhere around the thighs.
>One step with left foot, and one with the right one. Just doing those two things would get me close enough to kill the wolves.
>Two steps from hell, to save Isol. I could see his face, distorted in pain and in fog. I felt lightheaded and my vision was leaving me.
>One last thrust with my trusty pollaxe, that is all I ask for.
>Jerking forward I stab the wolf who landed on Isol's back in the neck.
>"Isol" I wanted to yell, but it came out as a gasp
>Losing balance, I fell during the thrust. taking the wolf with me down.
>The fall felt eternal, I could swear that I hit the ground, broke through and kept falling. However with the impact, the pain all went away.

>Fighting off the third dog, I saw something incredible.
>Like an undying, the Armored one stood up on his twisted leg, and just as something landed on my back, he hit it off.
>Quickly finishing the third dog who bit my arm several times, I turned around to find Armored one lying face down with a corpse of a hound impaled on his weapon.
>He just saved me.
>Or maybe not. I looked at my shoulder and at my hand, hoping that it would stop bleeding.
>Trum should be here any second.
>"Hotam?" I heard a voice and I knew I was spot on.
>Trum appeared a minute after the fight was over.
>Trum and five warriors.
>Good, that means we're safe.
>"Here" I said as he entered my line of sight.
>"By SunLord, What happened?"
>"I'll tell you when we get back." I said, and I stood up.
>>

>Trum helped me to stand, he was dead tired, yet he helped me.
>The two warriors quickly gathered the bags and the third one grabbed two hounds.
>The remaining two were uncertain about the Armored one.
>"He saved me." I said, "We should save him too"
>With that, they rolled him over, and picked him up like we did the first time.
>"He's heavy" Trum said and I chuckled, but the warriors were stronger than us, so they picked him up and carried him towards the village.
>"Wait Trum..." I said, pointing towards the weapon still lodged in the throat of the last wolf.
>"Armored one is going to need this."

So ends the Chapter 3: Savior Saved
Yo guys, Skreetz the Rat here, sorry for shorter chapter, I was going to end it much farther, but fuck me, its pretty fucking hard to write one handed.
As always, pastebin will be updated in a manner of seconds, and I'm here so tell me where I fucked up and I'll fix it for future generations (Pastebin readers)

Thanks for your time.

>>
>>9450696
I really like how it's going so far.
>>
>>9451774
I am very reluctant to write TTaH now as I have few ideas, but they will decide the course of the story permanently. (No going back) So I'm considering the way it goes much more than I did with any other story before... >>9451899
Thanks, I will do just that.

>>9451947
It is marked by an empty space between the shifts, however I make the story follow a certain way that if you do not register the empty space, it might seem like Hotam is taking action, while actually its Armored one who is doing the deed. This confusion is intentional in an attempt to make the story less predictable, while a black line would mark the change, it would most certainly not keep you on your tiptoes

A different suggestion by my friend said to abandon even the empty spaces, and let the readers figure out who is doing what, but even I found that confusing.

TL;DR watch for empty spaces (enters) they usually mean I'm switching perspective

Hope that helps.
>>
>>9452373
*toes...not tiptoes... fuck my English.

>>9452360
Thanks, means a lot to me.
>>
>>9452373
Actually, you misunderstand me. When writing in greentext, when the person who's perspective it is Ie. the one who we see it from, speaks, their text is in black.

Like so:

"Hello, I'm Bob, and this is my story"
>"Why hello there Bob, I'm Fred, the guy listening to what you're saying"
>And then Bob told his tale.

In example of your story, in the post here: >>9450611 the following lines should look like this:

By having the current perspective's lines in black, it helps break up the monotony of green and also means we instinctively know who's speaking, so you don't have to include character reference text to let us know.

None, realistically. What wild animals actually understand the concept of pets. Your best bet would be ants, which keep aphids as a sort of cattle.
>>
>>9456518
Yeah, even if a species is fully sentient being feral doesn't work well for it. Best bet is apes but a little to human like for my tastes.
>>
About what age would a first heat be? I know it is different species to species, just a rough guess.
>>
>>9457363
O'yeah, would a girl experiencing her first heat and being so aroused that she fucks her pet human be a good idea?
>>
>>9420373
The situation for that is very limited. It couldn't happen in the city. The human must be intelligent to some degree and not as dumb as the pets in other stories. I don't see how a feral animal could build civilization with lack of important appendages to even make discoveries. They need help with more "anthro" creatures or developed telepathic abilities to get through the challenges. Not saying it's impossible, could happen when a giant creature decide to hold a human explorer as a "pet". But if it takes place in a city, like how does that work.

You do realize Feral and Technologically advanced do not in any way shape or form work together, right? Feral literally means "like a wild animal" meaning instinct not intelligence.
>>
>>9468175
Feral is being used in reference to their body type instead of anthropomorphic.
>>
>>9468205
Then why not use "a non-anthro snake" and not Feral? You wouldn't describe a pickup truck as a soapbox cart, so why would you describe an advanced species as an instict driven wild animal?

Not him, but it's a convention of usage. Sense has little to do with it. Feral is mostly used for emphasis, referring first and foremost to body type, not sentience.
Weird, I know, but there you go.

I think it has to do with the concept of non-intelligent wild animal being somewhat morally stigmatized, something not surprising given the fandom's propensity towards sexualizing everything.
Hence, the term refers today almost solely to some character or other with a "wild animal" type body/design, without specifying anything about sentience or intellect at all.

Oh, you're pretty spot on with regards to the definition. ..It's the discrepancy between the definition and the connotative meaning and usage that's the issue.

E.g., in line with your equine example, if you ask an ordinary mentally sound person what a horse's "plot" is, they'd answer (if pressed a bit, that is..) with a confused denotative use or definition of the term.
Some linguists, of course, twist and turn at this discrepancy phenomenon, but it's inevitable, and one can't really do anything about it.

That being said, feral furs with human pets would be an interesting setting. Would need quite a lot of handwaving, I think.
>>
>>9468896
Wouldn't they not be a fur then? If they're just a sentient animal, they wouldn't fall within the idea of a furry, which is an intelligent anthropomorphic animal. It would be like calling, I dunno, Babe the pig a furry, or charelotte the spider.

Hehe, yeah you're right. They wouldn't really be a 'fur' or an anthro creature anymore.
Still.. Technically, furries aren't only about anthros, but any non-human creature, I guess, but the mind-boggling predominance of anthro creatures and elements might make it hard to believe.
Oh well.. Can't expect people to do things logically, I suppose.

Well. The point is, kinda, that actual racial phylogeny (or source of inspiration) doesn't count. Whether it's some creature based off of a real world animal, a wholly fictional creature or alien, or anything in between.. What you're really only worried about is physical characteristics, and what it seems to resemble most.

Hmm, never thought of krogans as toad-like before. That's an interesting thought.

By your definition elves and dwarves are furries too.
>>
>>9470549
Well, to be fair, they wouldn't be too far away from those Japanese catgirls, technically speaking.
For most, however, there's a grey zone of where one's definition stops. (I.e. some people argue that 'furry' is only creatures more animal than human, but I don't think that holds water.)

The problem is it describes an underlying principle.
This principle manifests itself in trends:
For elves and dwarves this principle is nigh unnoticeable (few would say they're more appealing than humans by merit of their non-human features); catgirls, for most people, are a bit more appealing due to their animal characteristics; and for more animal-heavy creatures, there's a whole lot of appeal for most furries.
..but ultimately, the psychological mechanism holds as long as you've got artwork depicting a creature more or less human and with other characteristics.
The rest is "soft" trends and hard-to-pin connotations. ..Most furries wouldn't consider elves and dwarves as such, after all.

Consequently, any "hard" definition would just give a skewed image of the absurdly complex trends and predominant preferences.
>>
>>9470549
Perhaps the best definition would just be an animal characters with human characteristics, whether those characteristics are physical or mental can change. I think that def works the best
>>
>>9470713
I don't agree that if it's just mental changes its a furry, since at that point, any talking animal becomes a furry. Its like comparing Air Bud and say, chip and dale or Alvin the chipmunk. (the animated cartoon stuff, not the new things)
>>
>>9470849
yeah, I guess it needs to be both at the least
>>
>>9470713
>>9470706
No no
A 'furry' is specifically an idiot with a mental condition that likes to pretend he is an animal person by waring an overpriced cartoonish mascot outfit.
Anthropomorphic animals themselves are just a variation on the concept of 'monster' mostly used to express certain exaggerated human traits.
>>

Haha! Well.. Hard to argue with that.
Though to be fair, most furries are pretty "normal" in terms of autistic beliefs about their "inner self" or whatnot. We just see the crazies. Most grow out of it as they pass 25 years or so.

The thing is, it's important here to distinguish between the various terms by their usage, before starting to debate their best definitions.
The word 'furry' can be/are applied both to the broad range of creatures depicting various exaggerated visually attractive traits (ranging from pretty close to human and feral), and the people inclined to acknowledge and appreciate these visually attractive traits. We were debating the former meaning of the word.

Ever since 10-15 years ago, even creatures that can't rightly be called "anthropomorphic" anymore have been included steadily, more and more, into the term.
Even the bronies eventually acknowledged that a huge part of their fascination of the show was the depiction of various exaggerated/stylized attractive traits (along with the writing, animation, etc.).
>>
>>9470991
> Most grow out of it as they pass 25 years or so.
This.

It's not just the whole inner self shit, either. It could be just a kind of yearning for a group to settle in if you don't fit in anywhere else.
And then you find out you don't even fit in to this shitshow of a group, and just give up with the identity politics and just quietly jerk it to furry porn like normal people.
You know. A tough giant imitating looking anthro having a smol cute human is somewhat fitting. So what dark and abusive story idea would you guys make? I was thinking of a drunk alligator trash trailer gurl who yells at her human for the littlest things and she sometimes rape her human if he made a accident.

Another idea of mine is this furry human supporter who works at Hu-meat and discovers the true horror on how these humans were treated
>>
>>9576546
>anthro wolfgirls in uniforms and hotpants
YES PLEASE

Trailer trash alligator girl sounds interesting as hell.
>Classical cycle of drunken rages and abuse, then apologetic breakdowns followed by shameful sex
If one wanted to make really syrupy (but delicious!) though, you could have Anon eventually redeem her from her lifestyle.

The "Hu-meat" concept is pretty spergy and grimdark, though. The concept of 'pet' is mutually exclusive with processing something solely for its meat. Hence it wouldn't be appropriate for these threads. Consider making a "Humans as livestock for furries" thread or something, perhaps
>>
>>9576546
I have an idea. Similar to the alligator, there's this lizard girl who have unhealty obsession for human males. She would tell her human she "loves" him only when reality, she just adopted a human for her lust and only her lust. She would put up pictures of him cumming by a hand job with the captions saying "baby's first cum! <3"
>>
>>9576682
And the human is actually using his owner for food, shelter, and sexual gratification.

>They wouldn't really be a 'fur' or an anthro creature anymore.
Anthropomorphism classically pertains more to personalities being projected onto things rather than a humanoid shape. As we've decided to focus on using non-niche definitions they'd certainly still be described as such.
>>
>>9580217
Excepting the cases where the creatures are fully savage and mentally feral, you're right; anthroipomorphization is just as much about human mental or social traits, historically.

Still, the term has come to be mostly associated with appearance. ..which is kind of ironic, seeing as how it has then lost its specific denotative qualities in being "watered out" and used to describe an entire fandom, almost.

..but yeah, I momentarily forgot about the mental/cultural/social aspects of anthropomorphism. My mind can rest easy again, knowing that I can call nearly any depicted creature anthro, given a few established traits.

i find it very hard to believe these bears would actually desire a mate who is smaller and weaker than them. what sort of desperation would drive someone that strong, large, and attractive to a man one fourth their size, if not incredible thirst?
>>
>>9598131
Pedophilia, but with unwillingness to actually break the law just to fulfill their fetish.
>>
>>9598131
>size difference fetish
>bears have long, but really thin dicks
>getting off to being bigger/stronger/physically dominate
>not having someone who weighs the same or more than you laying on you
>etc
Bears also aren't family/pack animals so needing a strong mate to help protect their young isn't something they do or even need. Hell, most bears end up having cubs in the middle of their hibernation and get to wake up to find out they're a mother now. Also, there are many species where the males are smaller and weaker than the females.
>>
>>9579923
Geez...
>>
>>9601283
Well it would have to be at some point before humans got really intelligent but we're still modern like in terms of look. Maybe humans don't devolp fire and then are tamed by Anthros. This there is less imptus to advance socially and intelligently.

Humans would be used as assistants for a lot of tasks.

Humans have fairly high endurance in comparison to most animals. So they could be porters carrying stuff for the furry master. Humans use other humans to do the same.

Human dexterity is good so would be good at manipulation of objects.

In fighting Humans could also be used. For example a armoured Fur, with a retinue of serveal humans armed with spears or maces. Plus they could be used as squires in assisting the putting on of armor.

Humans as pets would be smarter then our dogs or cats. Really more at a Whale or Dolphin level. Intelligent but not enough to build a civilisation.

One change that could be made is the humans don't evolve the language centre to the same level. With a limited syntax there is cruder social interaction, which has a knock on effect preventing further advancing.

Sucks that it's the end of thread, but I guess I can just repost in the new one when it comes.
Allergic Anon incoming.

>Adapting to life as a pet proves to be rather... interesting.
>It's almost like living with a girlfriend you get to rub yourself all over but don't exactly talk to or have sex with.
>Or maybe more like a job where you don't have to work but you have a boss who gives you lots of silly tasks and you also cuddle with them.
>A lot of cuddling.
>...
>Well, it's easier than coming up with comparisons to it for the most part.
>Your day usually consists of waking up when she's getting ready for work, and eating breakfast with her.
>Maybe a morning tv show cuddled together if time allows.
>And after she's gone, you try to learn more through tv, or digging through some of the basement boxes.
>Or play with toys if you feel so inclined.
>When she gets back you're almost always there to greet her, usually with a hug.
>After that, you'd watch tv with her, have dinner, and some days, like today, go out to the human park.
>The car pulls in up next to the park, and once again, you look out at all the frolicing humans as Kalia comes around to let you out.
>It's still strange seeing them act like, well, animals, but at the same time, they're happy as can be, so it can't be bad.
>After unbuckling you, you're led out by your hand held gently in her claw.
>You're glad she doesn't use a leash, but you're still stuck with the collar.
>Led into the park, she lets you go before latching the gate.
>"Now go on and try playing with some other humans this time," she says, patting your head before giving a gentle shove.
>Walking out to the grass, you sigh quietly to yourself.
>She is right, you really do need to interact with others, if only to learn by example and experience.
>>
>>9606877

>Watching has taught you several key things, like what's generally acceptable and what isn't, and how humans react to balls and other toys.
>And now, you have to nut up and go for it.
>Letting out a long slow breath, you put on a smile and run out, looking for any humans who seems interested or bored.
>You spot a small group playing nearby, and approaching them you hold a hand out, looking for an invitation to join.
>Only a few steps after you start do they spot you and run away to play elsewhere.
"Of course," you whisper to yourself, letting your hand drop to your side, "I'm a stranger here, in more ways than one."
>Giving your head a vigorous scratch, you regain your smile before looking to other humans to play.
>Can't let this get you down or you'll never learn.
>And Lady Luck seems to at least be looking your way, as it's not long into your search for a playmate that a cute brunette walks over to you, hand held out.
>Taking her hand in your own, she smiles before tugging you along excitedly.
>Her hand slides from yours, and she runs, glancing back at you expectantly, and from what you've seen, she wants to play chase.
>And you're the chaser.
>You might not be in the best shape ever, but that doesn't mean you're not going to try.
>So with determination that would make your hunter ancestors proud, you put some weight in your steps and give chase to the girl.
>This way and that, around crowds of humans or furs and across long stretches, you do everything you can to catch her, but she's always a step out of reach.
>Soft laughter escapes her, and before long, you've caught it too.
>There's something so simple and carefree about this, like chasing your kid brother around when you were younger.
>>
>>9606902

>Nothing to win, nothing to lose, just pure fun.
>Cloth brushes your fingertips as you reach out before stumbling to your knees, breathing hard.
>Your laughter slowly dies down as you catch your breath.
>She almost immediately stops and turns back to you, tilting her head.
>Giving her a small smile you flop back on your butt, still breathing heavily.
>It seems she understands you're tired, and runs off to find a new playmate.
>Leaning back, you look up into the bright blue sky and smile.
>Maybe being here isn't going to be too bad.
>"Anon!" you hear Kalia call out, and you look around for her.
>She's not hard to spot, being the only non-human non-furry in the park.
>Getting back on your feet, you make your way over slowly, legs giving minor protest to the action.
>She's next to a husky Fur, the same one as saturday... you think.
>You're not the best at differentiating between Furs of the same species.
>Then again, it's not like you've had practice with it.
>"Good boy Anon!" Kalia says as you approach, reaching out to pat your head.
>Catching her hand with your own, you smile at her expectantly.
>"Jack, this is Anon, my human," she says, turning to the fur, "Anon, meet Jack."
>She holds your hand out to him, but as she lets go you retract it away from him.
>"Don't be like that, Anon, Jack's a nice guy."
>Making grumbly noises, you sit next to her, with him on the far side.
>"I'm sorry Jack, he's just not a sociable human."
>"Don't worry about it," He replied, waving away her concern, "I've met all sorts of humans, and some just don't like strangers."
>>
>>9606927

>"Well, if you're not bothered by it..."
>"Good boy Anon, you can go back and play," she says, giving you a gentle push.
>Giving her a confused glance, you turn back to return to playing before sneezing.
>Rubbing your nose, you rush off to play, sparing a single glance back at her and Jack.
>A small frown graces your lips, but you're in no position to complain.
~~~
"Again, I'm so sorry, Jack, he's really not sociable, and the adoption agency speculated he had been mistreated, leading to it."
>He just smiles and pats your claw, looking out at the humans in the park.
>"He's definitely gotten better, if he listens to you so well."
"You think?"
>"I've known tons of humans in my life, and if they don't like someone, they'll rarely come to them, and he came right away."
"The people at the adoption center said he may have been abused before, which is why he's so unsocial."
>"Do you think that?"
>Scratching your chin, you look out as Anon tries to find another human to play with.
"I think something definitely happened while he was younger, he's not exactly a normal adult human."
>"How so?" he asks, paw on his muzzle.
"This might sound silly, but he didn't want to share a bath with me."
>An odd silence fills the air around you, despite the humans playing everywhere, and you resist the urge to gulp as you look at Jack's thinking face.
>After what feels like an eternity, he says, "That is unusual, and like you said is usually caused by trauma or abuse while young, but there's another possibility."
"What would that be?" you ask, leaning in, curious.
>"It's entirely possible he was rarely or never exposed to other humans while young. It might explain some oddities or habits that seem more furry in nature."
>"Add in having his previous family abandon him or worse, well..."
"You sure know a lot about humans."
>>
>>9606950
>He smiles, sharp white teeth becoming visible as he does, "Decades of experience with all sorts of humans. Just a real shame I can't keep one now."
"Can't keep one?"
>"Work and all that, you know."
"That does suck, doesn't it?"
>"Like you wouldn't believe," he says, eyes wandering out to the frolicing humans, "Like you wouldn't believe."
>Anon wanders back over before you know it, sitting on the ground next to you, resting his head on your hip.
>Reaching down your ruffle his hair with your claw, his face rubbing against your thigh as you do.
"Getting tired already, Anon?"
>He looks up at you with reddish, watery eyes and lets out a sniffle.
"Alright alright, we can head home for a bath," you say, rising to your feet, holding out a hand for Anon.
>He takes hold of your own, and you pull him to his feet.
"I suppose I'll see you later then, Jack."
>"How about this Saturday, at the Stardoe's near here? I can be there at two if you want to talk more about humans."
"That sounds good," you reply, a smile pulling at your jaw, "I'll see you then."
>A tugging on your hand pulls you back towards your car, Anon eager to get home to clean himself.
>"Aaa, Aaaa," Anon says tugging you harder, looking up at you.
"Yes, yes I'm coming," you say with a grin.
>Your grin only grows as you walk back with him, your human who has opened up to you now.
>When you got him he'd barely pay attention to you, and now he's asking for your attention.
>Maybe he'll share a bath with you today.
>Giggling to yourself, you roll your eyes.
"That'll be the day."
>Back in the car, it's not long before you're home and Anon is tugging you to start the bath for him.
>As you suspected he still won't bathe with you, but him laying his head on your lap as you watch tv after dinner certainly makes it worth it.
>Days pass like this in idyllic happiness till Saturday arrives.
>Staring at the cookie on the coffee table, you find yourself torn.
>It's a human treat, it's obviously meant for you, but it doesn't seem like it was set out for you.
>Is this a trap?
>A test to see how you react?
>Has she realized you're intelligent?
>Will taking it make you seem more like other humans, or will she get mad that you took it when it wasn't given to you.
>Did she happen to take it out earlier and forget it?
>Leaning back against the couch you scratch your head and stare at the ceiling while you think.
>"Anon!" Kalia calls out, "I'm going out soon!"
>Looking back down, you see her at the door wearing a semi-formal shirt and skirt, pulling on a shoe.
>"You can have the treat Anon, be good while I'm gone."
>As she steps outside, you grab the cookie and duck in behind the loveseat to look out the front window.
>Her car pulls out of the driveway, and as she's about to drive off, she spots you and waves.
>Putting a hand up on the glass, you give her a sad face as she leaves.
>You can see her almost stop to come back, but in the end she drives off, leaving you in the house alone for a while.
>Cookie entering your mouth, you move back to the couch and grab the remote.
>Making a note of the original channel this time, you flip around, looking for any pet channels.
>Eventually you find something, an adoption show.
>And you're almost immediately introduced to, well, for lack of a better term, a human farm.
>It's a pleasant looking place, a farmhouse with a large secondary house-like building and a huge fenced off area that's panned over by the camera, revealing a number of humans running around.
>A family is introduced and they're recorded walking up to the house, where other furs are, all the while a vividly blonde haired human male stands next to one.
>"The Richardson's here are one of the countries few breeders of northern breed humans, known for their distinct blonde hair and blue or green eyes.
>>
>>9607013
>"Not as large as western breeds, they do oftens share similarities though."
>The camera pans over to what you assume is one of the rooms in the human house, focusing on a couple young blondes all chasing a ball.
>"Very energetic, they make good pets for older children, and tend to live well into 50 years of age."
>The furs kids are introduced, and you feel your heart melt a little.
>It really is like human kids being introduced to puppies, if the puppies were bigger and more co-ordinated.
>And humans were furry dog people.
>Still, you can kind of understand why furries like humans as pets.
>Cute in their own way, intelligent and friendly to boot.
>You'd be more openly friendly too, if it wasn't for the fact that furs made you feel sickly.
>The show moves on from the first human farm, and passes to a more urban one, showcasing a different breed of humans this time,
>Laying down, you absorb the information the show is giving out, committing it to memory as best you can as you wait for your owner to return.
>This show ends and another begins, followed by one more before you hear her car pulling into the driveway.
>Quickly turning off the TV, you hurry to the door, waiting for her just like dogs do.
>Seconds tick before the lock clicks, and the door swings open.
>"Anon!" she exclaims, holding her arms out for an embrace, and you almost do.
>Until you spot the fur on her shirt.
>She looks down at where you're looking, before rolling her eyes and closing the door behind her.
>"Alright, I get it, you don't like his smell," she says, before stripping her shirt off, and holding her arms out to you again for a hug.
>It's not like you can decline now, even if she's only got a bra on now.
>Wrapping your arms around her smooth, scaled waist in an embrace, your face is squeezed against her half clothed reptilian mammaries as she puts her arms around you.
>>
>>9607047
>"I guess I need to remember to keep some cleaning stuff in my car if I want hugs when I get back, huh," she says, rubbing your head with a claw.
>Looking up, she's got a soft smile, and you feel her gently break your embrace.
>"If you're missing me this much after only an hour or so, hmn..." she muses to herself as she walks to her room, returning shortly after with a new shirt on.
>She saunters into the living room before sitting on the couch, patting it to gesture you up.
>Clambering up with her, she reaches over and rubs your head before saying, "Anon, what do you think about me getting another human as a friend for you?"
>Say what?!
~~~
>Despite her sudden question, things don't change and days pass as usual.
>More of her friends are brought over to meet you over the week, but all of them are furry, meaning you're suffering through fur filling the house.
>Especially friday, when Natalie comes back again for movies.
>At this rate, you'll never get to use the loveseat.
>Okay, that's not so much a problem, but the fact it tends to spread everywhere is an issue.
>Sneezing, you look out the window as the sound of a car suddenly reaches your ears.
>Jumping up from the couch, you see her car pulling in and so you run to the door again.
>She really likes it, and frankly, you don't mind the hug either.
>The lock clicks, the door opens and in steps Kalia, smiling and with arms held out.
>Something wafts in from behind her though, making you sneeze before you can react.
>Clawed hands wrap around you, lifting you up into her arms with surprising ease.
>"Well, this my home," Kalia says, turning and granting you the ability to see who she's talking to.
>"Cute place," Jack says, looking around as he walks in past you and Kalia.
>Setting you down, Kalia's claw pats your head before she says, "Jack's staying for dinner, Anon, be sure to be a good boy while he's here."
>Your eyes turn to the Husky anthro as he steps into the livingroom.
>>
>>9607073

>A sharp exhalation comes through your nose as your minor displeasure lets itself be known, and you return to your room.
>"So it's just you and Anon who live here?" Jack asks, looking around in the living room, "Your career must be going pretty well then, I take it."
>"Hmnnn, well enough," Kalia replies, her voice echoing from the kitchen.
>Settling down on your bed, you eye Jack as he sits down on the couch, contaminating it.
>He glances over at you briefly before his eyes turn over to the kitchen.
>"What do you do for work, if you don't mind me asking?"
>"I'm a logistics manager at a shipping company," Kalia replies, "so mostly just paperwork, though I do sometimes have to help out with assorted jobs when others are sick or on break."
>"Though there's this workshop coming up that I have to fly out of town for, and I'll be gone for about a week. Should I be worried about Anon, if I've got someone coming over to feed him daily?"
>"Well that depends on what he's like," Jack replies, "For instance..."
>This semi-personal and often human related back and forth continues between the two while you just sit in your room, unhappy.
>Partly because now you'll have to clean the couch before you use it, and partly because you'd rather not have your owner dating a furry.
>Sure, it's a personal issue on your side, and sure, you really have no say in her personal life, but that doesn't mean you can't be just a little grumpy about it.
>Eventually dinner is ready and you take your dish away to your room, leaving them so you can eat in peace.
>Dinner talk is quieter, and you can't make out everything, but what they talk about sounds fairly normal.
>There's a bit of happy laughter from Kalia as you get up to bring your dish back to the kitchen, leaving you... irked.
>>
>>9607091

>It really shouldn't, if she's happy, as her pet you should be happy for her, but...
>Setting your dish on the counter, you look over at them briefly before leaving the room.
>Kalia's got a bright smile on for him, and he's got a happy grin as well, waving his fork a little as he talks about something.
>Plopping down onto your bed, you sigh, and lean against the wall.
>If she likes him, you should try to be happy for her, or at least, not do anything to stop her from interacting with him.
>And the Furs at the adoption center did say that there were allergy tests out for you.
>Maybe they'll come back soon and inform Kalia, and then she could get meds or something for you.
>Or she might choose not to date him...
>Well, probably not, but she might take steps to make it easier on you.
>Letting out a sigh, you lay down and relax, worrying isn't going to get you anywhere right now.
>That can come when something worth worrying about happens.

And that's this update. It might get tweaked a little before the repost next thread, but not a whole lot.

Nice to see this continued.
Though at this point given that quite some time has passed one must ask when will Kalia contact the pound for the allergy test results or they contact her. Given it is an obvious and recurring condition.
Need to expand/evolve/move on from the original premise as the story gets longer.
>>

Nice to see that this story is still going, thank you.

Exciting, thank dude!

Also, new thread soon?
>>
>>9608221
To put it in a way with minimal spoilers, certain things had/have to happen before she gets the test results, or else it breaks the story I have planned.
Also, given the doctors doing the testing are probably furries, false positives might be popping up and causing the tests to need to be redone, delaying things.
