Really, I can't say I hate the comic either; I have seen way worse characterizations in fics and other comics.

The only thing I would really be annoyed at is the "get out of jail free" card that borba wrote; because the characters were never in this situation, we don't know how they would act, so anything would be considered OOC.
To a degree, yes, this is true. We can't say with a hundred percent accuracy what Nick and Judy would do here; we can, however, make educated guesses based on how they acted within the movie (and the comics and game I guess). Yet borba kind of just waves it off instead of acknowledging it and trying to give reasoning on why they act like they do.

But I do understand your point; it is a difficult subject to use with characters that aren't completely yours, and compared to some other crap out there, it isn't the worst.
