ITT: Pokemon are real - AKA the Pokemon Roleplaying General.
Everything said in here is an artistic work of fiction, not a representation of the posters - or else we actually would be Pokemon.
Do you battle or do you just have Pokemon as friends?

i have pokemon was friends
but sometimes i do battles too
not the best at battling but it's alright
>>9303772
>pat received
>still sleeping, but happier
>(tfw dont have the pic skits drew in my phone)
>>9303732
I battle, well, we battle, it's a partner thing, ya know? You don't spend a whole year in a frozen wasteland with someone and not become at least friends.
>>9303714
...I'm fucking stupid, that makes a lot more sense now that I think about it.
>>9303732
I've spent my whole damn life training. Trained a ton of different ghosts, stuck with my team finally.
>>9303832
Yyyyyep.
You wanna go do something or am I gonna follow you around until we find something cool to do.
>>9303862
Oh, you too? I've spent like, the past six years building this team up.
...Which is less than half my life, now that I think about it, but still.
Uh... I was gonna get healed up and uh, figure out if I'm ready to do a gym, or eight.
Given that apparently the Elite Four are up to level ninty... uh, I think I'm going to have to put in more practice.
>>9303963
Fifteen here, bud. Got my first ghost when my Growlithe died. Honestly I wish I could live forever just to see all the cool shit.
>He shrugs.
What level is your team?
>>9304078
I've gotten them to the 60s, Oathkeeper and Oblivion -my Doublade- and Zem -my Dragonite- are level 70, they've been with me the longest.
A year in a frozen wasteland doing nothing but training and hunting pokemon to stay alive really helps get stronger.
I wonder how Red did it though, was it just more time alone?
>>9304131
I'm rockin' all my bros in the 70s. Fifteen years does that to you. Just need one of the fancy mega thingies.
>Mort: Have no sense of personal space.
>Pull the bottom zipper up.
How do you get that fuckin' thing off, dude?
>>9304220
GAH!
WOULD YOU STOP!
>Quincy shoves the coat down
Same way you were just doing, it pulls up. I uh... well, I made it myself actually, it's really stupid how it became my go-to outfit, it started out just being a cosplay.

>a single wheel, taken from a car
>a rug from a pokemon adoption centre
>6 chairs from the catalist radio station break room
>4 potted plants also Taken from the Radio Station Break room
>a portable DVD player
>Various wrestling DVD's
>his tea set
>and various random and mostly useless junk
>>9304311
what's cata?
>>9304347
...I don't want to know what the blood cult thing is about.
Uh yeah, actually, I wanted to challenge all the leagues, but uh, I've heard some things about some of the champions, makes me kinda feel inadequate, really, I'm not ready to take on a lot of them... but maybe Sinnoh? I haven't heard who's the champ there.
Green writer here, got a thing for you all.
Male Trainer / Bisharp, finally done.
>You're camping out in the wilds, as young men do on the Trainer circuit.
>Your team's tired, and you're pushing the instant coffee.
>The bushes rustle, something glinting within.
>You perk up, but pay it no mind when the rustling takes off away from camp.
>Big mistake.
>As you finish your coffee, you feel a cool, unfamiliar hand grip your shoulder.
>You flinch and spin around, finding yourself face to face with a Bisharp.
>Panic sets in, as the bladed Pokemon grips you again.
>Your collarbone's caught by its other hand, as cold eyes examine you.
>The Bisharp nods, and its face seems to lighten just a bit.
>It relaxes its grip just a bit, but presses you against a tree.
>"W-What do you want?" Confusion joins the unnerved sound in your voice.
>The Bisharp releases you, and gestures to the ground.
>You obediently take a seat in the grass, as the Pokemon looms over you - then leans in to slice at your attire.
>You protest, but to no avail. Your belt is slashed off, and your hiking pants neatly opened at the seams.
>Then, the Bisharp straddles you. Your body reacts even as your mind dithers, as the Pokemon's powerful thighs come down.
>You're taken roughly, the intense pressure inside Bisharp easing just enough to allow you in.
>Bisharp leans in, prodding your chest with the tip of their torso-blades just hard enough to draw four trickles of blood.
>You're ridden for what feels like hours, before you feel your climax building.
>You gasp, and Bisharp grins.
>Even as you release, the ride continues with no sign besides a sly crack in their cool mask that Bisharp even felt it.
>What feels like an hour passes, before Bisharp hilts you one last time and pulls off.
>The Bisharp nods and walks off, still dripping from your encounter, before pausing.
>The Pokemon kicks an empty Pokeball over to you, giving you a fighting chance at a catch.
>You're too depleted and exhausted to try.
>>9304419
You really don't.
That'd be Diamond. Or Cynthia if he's been gone for a while, and she's going to be hell. But I can probably tag along with you.
I'll be the Brock to your Ash or whatever.
>>9304430

Why do we allow these Catalyst weirdos to do their shit if people keep bombing them and attacking their members?
They seem more like violence attractors then... Peaceful people.
>>9304692
why would you do this
>>9304686

>>9304686

>>9304843
I've uh, never been to Sinnoh, I've been to SinJOH, though.
It's weird, no one else ever goes there, even though there's all these interesting ruins and shit. Found a bunch of weird engravings while we were there.
...And since I've never been to Sinnoh in my life, Zem doesn't know the way, so we'll have to hoof it through that area, unless you've got the cash for transport?
>>9304931
>( Ray here. We have one GM waiting on a ban appeal, me on hiatus and multiple other players dealing with RL Shit. This is Total Plot Hiatus hours. Please. )

Rally, ho. Let's go.
>>9304951
(I'm not on hiatus but I can't really do much with any of my characters and might as well go on hiatus with this one in sympathy)
(You're doing good, man)
>>9304968
(And you're being a total dumbass)
>>9305030
>Replying to a VERY obvious shitpost
SB no
>>9305022
...I'm gonna ignore the cutting yourself part, but uh, you and I should stock up, I have no idea how far it is to Sinnoh on foot, and it's pretty much frozen tundra for... miles and miles and miles, I didn't see anything but ice and snow and pokemon for the entirety of this last year.
Is it weird that sometimes I swear I can make out words from my pokemon?
Right, I should probably check if I've got the money to get food for the trip
>Quincy checks his bank account
...Oh jeez, I really should have been paying attention to those stocks I got from Dad, wow, how do I... there we go.
I don't think I'm rich, but I can afford enough jerky and potions to last another year long stay in the tundra.
>>9305130
(Sorry about that, realized directly naming Devon and Silph was dumb)
>>9305162
I'll be fine. I feed on fear and battles anyway. Besides I can hunt, probably.
...I mean I get what my bros say sometimes, so, no?
Alright then, richie rich. Let's get going, eh?
>It's a pleasant day in Unova.
>A girl fiddles around one of the Catalyst buildings.
>She looks into the windows oohing and aaahing.
>>9305216
Yeah, just hang on
>Quincy pulls his backpack off, pulling a second, much larger set of bags out
>In fact, it's a basic leather saddle and saddlebags
>He turns to Zem, and the big dragon leans down, letting Quincy slip the straps around his chest and adjust them just behind his wings, out of the way.
Alright, now we gotta fill em up, think you can handle that, Zem?
>The dragon nods, smiling, and the duo go over to the pokemart, acquiring an obscene amount of potions, revives, and jerky, stuffing the large saddlebags full.
>The clerk also offers to upgrade Quincy's Dex with the latest translation tech, for a rather large fee. He of course accepts the "deal", but leaves the new feature offline for the moment.
>They walk back, having emptied the pokemart
Alright, you got a way to keep up on our way to Sinjoh?
reminder that if you let your pokemon out of their pokeballs when not feeding them or in a battle then you should be gassed
>>9305323
Yeah, yaoihands mcgee is my ride.
>A Golurk is sent out.
>Mort hops on.
>Fuckin' rocket noise: Happen.
Lead the way, cap'n!!
>>9305323
(Just to make it clear OOC: that was basically an open invite for someone to take one of Quincy's Pokemon as a character so this trip isn't just two idiots in not!Alaska)
>>9305361
And who is going to enforce such stupidity?
You? Good luck kid
>>9305375
Yaoihan- what kinda name is that!?
Whatever
>Quincy climbs up onto Zem's back, and the two take off, headed north, for the Sinjoh Ruins
>>9305252
>A worker waves as he's feeding the Pokemon in the rehab center.
>It's a nice place, all told.
>he mouths "Do you want to come in?"
>(Please don't make this a bombing plot, we're going back to light rp and comfyposting for this weekend)
>>9305361
Slateportfag here, get bent.
Kinda hard to pet an Eevee that's balled 24/7.
>>9305408
That's not actually his name. It's Vilna.
>Mort follows after him.
Hell yeah! This is a real adventure, man!
>>9305361
Eat a dick.
>>9305361
FILTH' LIKE YOU SHOULD BE GASSED
reminder that ghost trainers need to die
>Fluffles pokes around the radio station, looking for someone to talk to
>>9305525
(Maybe pick up one of the pokes with Mort or Quincy?)
>>9305525
Hello...
Good evening, stranger.
How are you faring?
>>9305525
>The admin's office is closed and locked from the inside
>Doesn't seem like anyone is going to come out anytime soon
>>9305541
(Not sure.)
(I'll think about it, though)
>>9305557
Hey there.
I'm doing great.
>He is holding a bottle, with a rolled up piece of paper inside, botb of which look ancient
Can you read old maps and such?
>>9305525
>A smoking gun lies on one of the desks.
>>9305469
>It really doesn't take long to reach Sinjoh, and everyone lands in the light snow outside the stone entrance
This is one of the easiest places to get through the mountains, unless you like more cold and not being able to breathe
>He takes the saddle off of Zem, gently rubbing where the straps were as the big dragon takes a deep breath
Alright dude, you wanna walk with me and Pixel or you wanna stay in the ball?
>The dragon points at his pokeball, and shakes his head
Alright, big guy, let's go then.
>Quincy summons Pixel from her ball, and quickly gets the saddle onto the large fire dog
Alright, Pixel, give us a wisp or five to light the way.
>The Arcanine breathes out several dancing balls of fire, and they float forward, revealing the ruins in more detail
You wanna take the lead... er, I don't think I got your name.
Wow that feels stupid now that I think about it.
>>9305642
Mortimer. Mort works. Yours?
>He takes a step into the ruins.
Don't tell the popo but I keep more than six pokes on me. Mostly for utility reasons.
>Pet fire doggo.
You wouldn't believe the amount of things you need set on fire when you join a cult. Anyway, these are some damn cool ruins.
>>9305613
Can I read old maps?
I was a scribe in training, once...
I can examine your bottled message, and at least tell you if it is written in any language my kinsmen once used.
>Ivenhotep chuckles.
Let us take a look.
>>9305766
Sure thing!
>Hands Ivenhotep the bottle
>Eager and excited fluffball noises
>The ghost can probably read what's within
>>9305749
I don't really need more than six, but I can see why some would.
>Pixel growls at the touch
Hey, woah, not cool man.
Uugh, sorry, she's not a fan of other people and I don't think a year in the wilderness with just me and the rest of the team helped that.
>He runs his fingers through the thick, warm fur under the saddle's straps, his other hand seeming to gravitate towards Zem's wing joints, petting the both of them as the group walks through the long hallway
>>9305843
>Ivenhotep carefully extracts the map and lays it out.
Hmm... At the least, it is not an advertisement for Carbos...
Oh. Oh, my. This was penned a very, very long time ago, indeed.
>Ivenhotep carefully scrutinizes the ancient parchment, concerned for its age and condition.
It appears to be a map, and one inked by one of my, er, former contemporaries. Not anyone I knew personally, but someone alive before, well...
>Ivenhotep chuckles.
>>9305871
Mostly because I hate letting my friends rot in a PC or giving them away to a scumbag. Call me a hoarder.
>Mort laughs.
Oh no~
>He lets out a Chandelure that he gives a pat to.
No, Wisp, we aren't eating their souls. Nooo.
Hey, Quinc. If I die you gotta Exsanguinate me and feed my soul to Wisp, got it? I promised it to him since I didn't let him eat his last trainer's soul.
>Mort laughs and keeps walking.
So, where's Arceus anyway?
>>9305965
(Gonna pretend I actually remembered to say his name in the last post)
That's fair, kinda why I keep myself to six Pokemon, I couldn't handle any more.
>He gives Pixel the most valuable thing he can offer at the moment: ear scritches
Uhhh, I don't know if I can do that, even with Oathkeeper and Oblivion, I'm not really comfortable with the kind of ghosts that feed on things like that.
... Arceus? What's he got to do with this?
>>9305934
A map?
>Excitement
What does it say?!
>>9306024
(No worries. I feel I should say if you need to go or sleep or anything don't feel pressured to stay.)
Make it a party here, man. We're all running 20 pokes.
>Mort laughs.
I was mostly joking. Doesn't Arceus live here or something.
Watch me get smited, dude.
>Mort cups his hands around his helmet.
HEY ARCEUS! GIGI IS WAY COOLER!
>>9306077
I would appear in the flesh to call you an idiot but take this as a warning.
Cease,
>>9306057
It appears to be...
Oh, sweet gods, this is treasure from my kinsmen.
Swept away before our apparent collapse.
>Ivenhotep looks up.
If you choose to pursue this treasure, I wish to accompany you.
In any case... thank you. It has been a rare treat to examine a relic of my past.
>>9306077
WHAT ARE YOU DOING DUDE!?
>Panicked weeb noises
ARE YOU TRYING TO GET US KILLED!?
>He draws his Pokemon closer, pulling a third ball out, but not calling out anyone else yet.
Why would you do something like that!?
>The group enters the Mystri Stage room, with it's huge raised platform carved with the strange circles
>>9306161
A treasure?
That's...great!
Where is it?!
You can come along!
>>9306098
Hey Gigi.
Gotcha.
>Cough.
>>9306175
See, I see why you're worrying but we haven't been smited yet. Not every day you get to do that.
Woah.
>He walks up the stairs and stops before stepping onto the platform.
>There is so much disrespect going on I don't see Mort surviving very long.
...
>He tosses a bag of dank onto the platform.
Ghostdad, I beseech thee! Take my offering in honor to thyself.
Uh, it's pretty good dank.
>>9306228
It is far, far from here. There will likely be guards, and traps.
Alas, I am not a robust combatant. We will undoubtedly need allies.
Perhaps... perhaps I can convince a friend or two to accompany us?
>>9306233
>Phase head up out of the floor
oh man i thought you'd never show u...p..
you aren't my dealer.
...
>Snatch the dank
thank.
>Chuck a SpookyDad™ approved trumpet at the dork
>Doot out.
>>9306342
Danger, huh?
...
I'm sure we'll be fine.
But I think having more friends with us would be good.
>>9306416
>OhmygodanothersenpainoticedmehowluckyamI?
Thank you...Sir.
(I assume Quinjamin went to bed so.)
>Mort unpacks camp in a side of the room and crashes out snuggling a warm chandelier.
>Anyone want to take bets on how long this idiot is going to survive?
PAR is dying
>>9306747
You're dying.
>Blap
>>9306497
I believe my cheery associate Ruffles, a fellow Pokemon from out of time, would be a good addition to our... Adventuring party? War-band?Team? I am not sure what to call our venture as of yet.
>>9306817
Hmm.
Adventuring party has a nice ring to it.
Let's go with that.
>>9306817

>Mort is eating a definitely moldy sandwich.
>In the house of our lord and savior Arceus.
Morning sleepyhead. Do you normally faint?
>>9312210
I want to register one in my pokedex, I'm also looking for Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres, and Mewtwo, and... pretty much every other pokemon that doesn't exist in Kanto.
>>9312210
Hey Mew, Mort said Arceus is a fuck
>>9312267
No, but I also don't normally see the face of God come out of the floor!
Uugh, let's just, keep going, I guess.
>Quincy worms his way out from the two large pokemon he had been sandwiched by, and adjusts his coat
Alright alright alright, let's get out of here before something worse happens.
>>9312374
I DID NOT YOU FUCKIN' SNITCH!
Okay I kinda did.
>>9312381

>>9312446
I'm not making this shit up, dude, it's been confirmed for the past few years that they exist, fucking google it.
Of course, that doesn't mean they aren't rare as all balls, and registering one in my Dex is going to be a pain in the ass... but still, gotta try.
>>9312488

>Chemicals are making Froakie gay!

Mort/Quincy/Cam - Twoweebsandanedgelord
>>9312433
My hair is always this spiky, dude.
>Quincy pulls his hood up, blocking out as much of the chill as possible, and follows Pixel down the hall on the other side of the Mystri Stage, occasionally glancing at the detailed engravings that line the walls
So... Mort, did you get a good look at that design on the platform? Like, it seems like it was used for some sort of ritual, but I've got no idea what kind, and I've never seen anyone else come up this far, so I can't exactly just ask about it.
>He habitually tucks a hand under one of the straps on Pixel's saddlebag, letting the warmth of the Arcanine's body seep through his glove.
>Behind him, Zem flutters his wings, stretching them as best he can in the confined space
It's just... I swear that place is important, like, something HUGE happened here... and then it all fell to ruin, and I don't get it. Kinda why I chose the area beyond this to train, wanted to see if there were like, abandoned cities up here or something, and... well, there are.
>They reach the end of the hallway, and with Zem's help, pushes aside a large stone door, revealing the world on the other side.
>There's a large staircase leading down into a very old, very dead city, containing architectural styles of both Johto and Sinnoh
>All are frozen over, and in a state of disrepair
>A chill wind sweeps through the hall, wiping out the wisps of flame Pixel had been using to light the way.
Welcome to the real Sinjoh, I guess.

Looks like a summoning or creation ritual. The leader of one of the places I rolled with used those kinds of circles. Not as large, must be more accurate depending on size.
>Mort shudders a bit at the cold, moving closer to Wisp.
Fuck me, I've always wanted to find weird shit but this is not what I had in mind. I assume you've ransacked the place already?

(probably should have mentioned they were level 40 but yeah)
>>9312979
So... let me get this straight. What you're proposing is that, should you meet Mew, you would capture her in a small sphere, sealing her off from the outside world, for just long enough for an electronic device to say that you have, at one point, owned her, and then you would simply release her. And that's assuming you're being completely honest.
>>9313026
And that's the other one. Dude, we're tough enough to probably reclaim this entire place. Unless Kyurem is here. Fuck Kyurem though, he's a nerd.
>Mort pokes through the house.

Uh, yeah pretty much, though the Dex doesn't register ownership, just like, other data, like how much the pokemon weighs and what it looks like and all that stuff. I want to fill out the whole Dex, one region at a time, and it's the legendaries and mythics that are making that difficult. I've only kept three pokemon, and only with their permission, so I guess that makes me honest.

Well, there's the keeping them warm thing that Mort said.

Pixiv usually doesn't tag individual pokemon names, the main boorus don't have much, and most sites ignore non-porn artwork. Even if I sift through Pokebooru, Deviantart, Tumblr pages, and other bad websites western artists use, I still see anons posting art I couldn't find.

...And assuming it isn't... do they sell toys for Pokemon that would be safe for her?
