So I recently watched Mahou Shoujo Ikusei Keikaku and I remembered why I enjoy RWBY despite it being kind of terrible. And that's because it doesn't overuse cute girls murdering each other or dying in horrible ways (Pyrrha and Penny notwithstanding). I feel that Madoka and the like has hurt the entire mahou shoujo genre on the whole, even the new Nanoha series seem to have taken a turn for the worse in the same kind of way.
Makes me wish there was a better range of mahou shoujo anime with cool fighting but isn't steeped in grimdark and edge. There's only so much PreCure and RWBY I can watch before it starts to get stale.

As to what this has to do with RWBYgt, some of the character concepts were kind of cool, I guess. Could make for some neat OCs, allowing for toned-down edge of course.
