I'm not much of an artist, so I guess I haven't really built up that specific stamina to keep drawing, after I finished the head portion and got tips on how to draw the body well...I never really got around to drawing the body.

I keep telling myself I'll break out the paper and take more cracks at it, I have an idea in my head for some kinda comic, but, I'm at that point all people reach where you realize, that's in fact work lol.

Good to see the threads still around, took a break for a while cuz I felt kinda sheepish about putting out some content and then just falling off the map lol. Spose I could do that, but I'm more just conceptualizing the idea in my head.

Of course I'm keeping it in my head cuz that's easy after all lol.

I do appreciate the words of confidence though, I keep tryin to tell myself if I just stick with it to build it into habit it'll be a much easier battle to stay involved.

A someone who writes stories, I'd say yeah, move some of that stuff outta your head onto paper as soon as possible, because as it expands bits will likely get lost/forgotten...

And yeah, I get told that by artist friends a fair bit - keep drawing as often as you can and it'll become habitual. I really need to stick to that myself.

That's some cute stuff, right there. Have you tried some profile or three-quarter views? I know it's stereotypical to recommend Loomis, but his Fun With A Pencil helped me get a handle on 3D forms for heads.

I definitely need to try that, and naw I don't consider it cliche, I actually had another artist recommend Loomis to me, I guess with multiple people pushing me towards it I should finally take a crack at it. Hoboy... well...

Writing wise, it's mostly plot-with-porn/porn-with-plot for Olga and the setting the Squeakers.com stuff takes place in, a couple of pieces I really have to finish some time... I want to make Squeakers.com a thing, maybe with its own site some day.

As to why I wanted to start these threads... I kind of didn't start them. Truth be told, the Mouse Threads just fell into my lap. If I recall correctly, one day I happened to notice there was a thread full of cute mice on the board, and when it hit the bump limit I asked "are we going to start another?" or something along those lines, and someone just told me to do it.

So I did. And never really stopped. they just kind of snowballed from there and became a thing that people seem to enjoy, with their own little data folders and frequent faces and associated artists. Pretty neat how it all came together. I'm certainly happy to keep them going every Monday.

My take on mice? The very soul of adorability, every feature is cute and appealing in some way, they still manage to be cute even when they're being smutty, they easily lend themselves to the sort of bottom-heavy sexiness I like, a good basis for an underdog/kindhearted protagonist character, good cultural and mythological base to work from, lots of variety available in size, shape and details, and just generally all-around appealing.

Cool stuff, do you happen to have any kinda links or examples of Olga and the world you're creating? I enjoyed browsing and throwing a couple things in but I didn't see the fine details, was wondering if you had anything to share to look at.

I like that your take on mice is honest and includes both the carnal desires and the more, legit interest I'd describe it as, specifically meaning you find more fun about mice than JUST the sexual aspect, not that there's anythin wrong with only liking the gorgeous rodents.

God knows I do.

I like your take on mice from the writing tool aspect as well, how you described them as adorable, and underdog, protagonist. The story I'm rolling around in my head actually kinda touches on these, but I specifically want to draw parallels with humans if that makes sense. We see mice as adorable and heart warming, but of course like any animal they can have instances of great...aggressiveness if that makes sense. Basically I want them to represent how we see ourselves on the surface level, but underneath things can be much more instinctual. I don't want it to be edgy by any means, but I feel it's important to say something with the story, and I do want it to perhaps be jarring in its exposure of the dichotomy of reality, not romanticizing either the cuteness or the aggressiveness, but just saying it can both exist, and again drawing parallel to all people, not just people into mice.

Like the line, paraphrasing from contact, we're all capable of beautiful dreams and horrible nightmares, we can have examples of the cutest mice and the most vicious mice, and neither side is wrong, both qualities can exist in one individual.

I'm sure it's been done before but I have this nagging barb in my back just, wanting to somehow put something like that together, I honestly don't even know where to begin, but it's important to me.

Sorry to offload all that on ya lol, just want to describe it without coming off as edgy or pretentious.

The pic by Rapps has a little vignette on it, if you want a sample of my writing. It's a WIP, really. The whole thing needs to be fleshed out, and the world itself is, at the moment, a collaborative thing with another writer - basically a cute little add-on to his main setting.

I like that idea, mixing stereotype with realism. Mice *can* be aggressive when put on the spot, it's a good trait for a character, too. I think mice could be good for making parallels to human behaviour. So this is going to be about Business Maus living his day to day life?

That's interesting, I've always been curious how collaborations go with other writers / artists. Are you comfortable with adding to his main setting or do you have any interest in striking out and doing something purely of your own creation at some point?

On my side, I'm honestly not sure if it will be about business maus. Depends on the business for sure, my idea right now is to conceptualize and put to paper, and then put up for critique some kind of semi regular, web comicy style thing where I can explore the nature of surface personality vs instinct. This could be about business maus, but I'm rolling around a couple other character ideas, mostly in space cuz I'm a scifi buff. And MOST importantly get feedback, because my ultimate goal after putting this out to be ridiculed and learned from, is to create something, and this is far far down the line and just in the most recessed imaginative ideas, but to create something that touches on individualism vs group mentality, and really tries to get to the core of, again the dichotomy of just, whatever I can conceptualize. I mean, it's hard to describe because it's still excessively abstract to me, as you can tell I haven't really gotten much further than the feels and inspiration stage of what I'm trying to convey, which is why I want to do something much lighter, open to critique, get burned in the flames of judgement, and learn before trying to make some kind of statement.

If I do write somethin out, I'll be sure to add it here, the whole goal is just, put myself out there for more talented people to destroy and mold into something better lol.

It will be cool followin you if you intend to publicly flesh out the world regardless though, you seem like a very competent writer, just from our interaction and what little I've seen. I'll ESPECIALLY be followin if she keeps nice and lewd lol, man she is really quite the cute.

I really think she may be my favoritest mouse character. Just this mother thrust into a much larger world, not the strongest, not the fastest, definitely full of fear throughout the whole ordeal, but her love for her son giving her just enough courage and resilience to push on.

It was such a nice film, no cheap laughs, or pop culture jokes, would have been fine with the crow getting removed but he certainly wasn't as pure annoying as Olaf from Frozen or somethin.

I could be way off or speaking only for myself, but I can try to explain why I personally like feet.
For one, it's a semi-taboo thing. Next to the pelvic and chest areas, feet seem to be the most covered up body part, so it feels special when you get to experience them.
For two, it's a trust and comfort thing. Feet are how we move around. To have someone else's in your care can feel like a greater show of vulnerability, I guess? Feet are really sensitive.
For three, it can also be a dominance thing. Feet are what people put on the ground, so to put them on someone else, depending on how you do it, can be up there with sitting on them.
Those all stack really well with other fetishes, too--and I have many.

I'd say that my OC would attempt to reflect me, so I'd say that he was basically a raging alcoholic but stopped drinking alcohol all together. In the real world, I drank quite frequently and found it hard to cope with some things without it. The reason I stopped was actually, I find, by going off the deep-end and having a really bad night because of it. I woke up and everything felt twisted, and on top of that I had a terrible hangover.

I usually would drink at least 5 or 6 and that'd make me drunk though not stupid drunk, but then I drank around a total of probably 10 in probably less than 2 hours. I don't recall why but I think I was really stressed and ended up just grabbing one after the other and typing different shit to people I knew, though most of it was related to me saying that I thought they were great friends and etc, I loved them and so on. Not sure -why- anymore, but it's what I remember (mostly from the morning after.)

Also, sleeping pills. I was hooked on sleeping pills & alcohol or one of the two alone for a bit, though I'm clean now. I haven't touched sleeping pills or alcohol in months, and I was going to go and get alcohol last night to cope with something that was going on. I managed to not do that.

Sleeping pills made me feel drowsy and I really liked it since it also numbed me and made sleep seem easy (obviously).

It's not a good combo tho never do it. I never actually had any of the usual talked about issues regarding the combination, luckily, but it can make you do things like sleepwalk, or lose awareness that you're even awake while you do something. Also, it can kill you, and so I'm surprised I'm actually alive still. Probably because I didn't take over one or two pills.

tl;dr, no -- not anymore.
