Well there's the other anon that focuses on skin/texture mods, but yeah other than that, no other modders here. Really wish there was more around. Would be so much better working with fellow /trash/ members than HF or the discord group I'm in since we would all have a common interest in Kemono.

Still, I've gotten pretty lucky with finding and requesting mods. I even managed to get a mod that I once thought was lost to the ether of the internet... Sometimes you just need to go exploring and keep asking around wherever to find what you're looking for.

Good news people.
I managed to enable the rim on the kemono face nose by editing the .model file.

Left is the new version.

I know that the bright muzzle design on the left mitigates a lot of the visibility problems the pink nose design has in general, try to focus on the effect that the rim has.

Also still haven't lowered the brightness of the texture.

How does it look?
Any suggestions?

I actually throw my recorded videos into Sony Vegas and add smooth transitions between scenes, then re-render the video before throwing it into the converter. Going through all that trouble usually keeps a decent playback length and retained visual quality.

Mods should never be that much of an issue to get working unless the mod creator messed up. Literally just drop the mods into a folder and load the game.

Alrighty! I learned all about backface culling (one-sided faces) in blender and how to fix the issue. Now I'll be able to apply this to some of the messed up ears and tails I've done previously.

A lesson I learned after trying to run Reipatcher and Sybaris simultaneously.

Scream, curse, resignate, install, backup update, DLC, backup, plugin, backup, mod, play.
I filled my external HD with backups of the game in several stages so I can fuck around with stuff without losing an hour of mindless updating.

THEN I saw that you can use the update merger to make a single Update/DLC install file and exploded in a sea of rage.

This is the one earpiece that's driving me nuts. Been trying to fix the normals/faces on the outer fluff in the ears so their edges are transparent and can be seen from all angles, instead of them disappearing when you look at them from certain angles.

I'm here now. I saw your posts yesterday but I was too tired + pissed off at a particular video game to make a response.

Anyway, I use CM3D2 maidvoicepitch's wideslider + BodyParamChanger to make my thick or muscular characters. BodyParamChanger requires the old and busted Reipatcher method of loading plugins in order to use. Most people say that Wideslider is enough, but as I always tell them: BodyParamChanger works completely differently from Wideslider and lets you change body size values in ways that Wideslider cannot. Using both together will let you tweak your characters a lot better and easier than just having one or the other.

Not to mention that BodyParamChanger is mandatory if you want to give muscular arms to your characters since Wildslider's arm scaling messes up hand sizes horrifically. Of course, BodyParamChanger isn't perfect since the higher number values you go with arms, the more blocky they become, but you can at least user Wildeslider to smooth them out.

With BodyParamChanger, the sheet you've mentioned does not appear. This is because how BodyParamChanger works as a "unlocked sliders", so it works just like the normal sliders but with out limits (or rather limits that you can raise or decrease) so you can give your character long and broader shoulders than normal.

Getting Reipatcher to work for BodyParamChanger was a huge pain in the ass to figure out the first time, and it's the only reason I even use Reipatcher. I'm not even completely sure how I managed to get it all working, but what I think I did was

download BodyParamChanger, Reipatcher and the CM3D2 config files for Reipatcher from HF (google them)
extract files to appropriate CM3D2 folders
edit either CM3D2x86 or CM3D2x64.ini files to locate "Assembly-CSharp=Assembly-CSharp.dll" for either the CM3D2x86_Data or the CM3D2x64_Data folder. (obviously depends on wether your run CM3D2 in 32 or 64 bit mode)
Create a .bat file with command line "ReiPatcher.exe -c <configFile>'" (confgfile being either CM3D2x64 or CM3D2x86 like before) (No quotation marks)
Run the bat file.

That's all I remember trying to get it to work. If this doesn't help than all I can say is that you'll have to read into using Reipatcher on your own.

But a lot of things really are just out there, anon. I only recently jumped onto CM3D2 about a month ago and yet I was able to get everything up to speed with updates, DLC and mods within a day or so. Sure, some mods are harder to come by than others and there's nothing inherently wrong about asking for things, but I can't help but shake my head everytime someone asks for something like a mod that can be found in the pastebins, in the mod directory, in previous archived threads or with a google search.

Trying to recreate existing characters as closely as possible usually never turns out well, especially when making a jump from 2D to 3D. It's much better to just make character that are inspired from other existing creations instead. Or at least that's the conclusion I came to when I tried to recreate Michiyoshi's racoon dog girl (Maroe, or whatever her name is.)
