I didn't draw it as a joke. I'm into vore (albeit not object vore), and am one of the longest-running hammerspace dragon fans - and part of their lore is that they tend to keep their hoards in their stomachs to be safe.
I simply can't draw well yet.
...and am still looking for a good way to practice basic 3d shapes to git gud at constructing rather than just copying. All the MUH LOOMIS in the world can't help if I can't get past "draw a sphere looking in a specific direction".

Well it just so happens that I'm a fan of yours (since you actually followed me, you madman), so I'll do my best to help you with any tips I can.

Those simple guides (spheres, etc.) can be tough in the beginning, because geometrically simple things like that have a tendency of making us scrutinize them more intently. Don't focus on them at all.
Nah, what'll -really- have you gain skill quickly, is finding something you like---look around for an artist's style you like, maybe a particular drawing or a character---and try to copy it. (The "construct rather than copy" part comes later, no worries.)
By copying it and drawing it in other angles and such, you end up practicing turning and rotating the shapes as you visualize it.
This'll turn out bad to begin with, but just plow on. Here's what'll happen: A lot of tiny things will "click" in your mind, and you'll quickly get the hang of core principles and elements (about strokes, about what happens to complex shapes when you rotate them, etc.)

Now, you might think that this makes you good at drawing only a single type of thing, but this isn't the case! Whilst familiarizing yourself with a certain design (particularly in the case of heads/faces, which vary more in style than anatomy), you're simultaneously learning a LOT about the core elements of drawing, which will benefit you greatly in drawing your own original stuff later on.

Also, you could try what I did:
Drop the sketch-guides altogether, instead just starting somewhere (I started with the head). Then let the rest of the drawing/sketch grow from there. ..A bit unorthodox, and this way leads to a result that may be a bit different from what you originally wanted/envisioned, but it might make for great results, and still gives you a lot of training (..which you can use later on when drawing "more planned", and from sketched guides). Also use the eraser gratuitously!

Well, cetaceans and fishes have scales (sharks as well), so technically those are scalies.
Birds are a bit more difficult, seeing as how they've come quite the way evolutionarily from the dinosaurs. You could still argue that they're semi-scaly, though, from the type of skin on their legs (which most likely is -very- similar to what the dinosaurs' skin was like; not scaled per se, but a bit similar).

I think a lot of people are ok with posting aquatics, really. Especially seeing as how they don't have any established "home" here yet.
Birds are perhaps a harder pill to swallow for many, I suppose, though I've seen avians posted here before.
There are often avian threads on /trash/, but /scaly/ seems somewhat accepting of them anyway (which is nice)

..Oh. Hmm, if it's hard for you to do that, it might just be because you aren't familiar with it/didn't do it much when little. Thus, you might have to "kickstart" it, so to speak. It's a training issue really (though if you have certified problems with it, it might take longer).

For me, I had the exact same thing as you in the beginning; I'd heard you were supposed to start with these sketch-guides/shapes, but I fussed too much over them, being something of a perfectionist. I eventually ended up just starting on the outlines straight away, using a lot of eraser (and taking a lot of time on each drawing).
Though from what I've gathered this is a bit unorthodox, but screw that.
Just be prepared to erase a lot of crappy things (the more you erase/redo, the more practice you get!)
I'd definitely recommend getting a cheap tablet.
It opens the doors to hell of a lot of powerful tools that'll boost your skill level.

Yeah, I grew up heavy into math and computers, always wanted to make a video game. The art thing is a more recent development due to 1) I want to make cute dragons and griffons whenever I feel like it, 2) I kind of like being well-rounded when feasible, and slightly 3) I'm a cheapskate and this seems like a plausible way to not pay for art assets for a game.

AP, HEAT and HE (now renamed to HESH) now all have the same TTK. To make them "different" they gave AP a velocity increase of 50m/s for every sec it takes before the round hits the target. HEAT now has the fastest reload time and both HESH and HEAT have been given a -100m/s nerf and gravity increase from 4 to 5.

This means that AP is fucking worthless now because velocity increase is not worth given the range tanks tend to fight at (and also since you can just drive closer if you have problems landing your shots) HEAT and HESH are the only way to go.
