I wouldn't trust Doc's Lab, that thing goes through a 3-year cycle of crashing and purging most of the stories on it. I'm sure the guy who hosts the site isn't a bad person, he's just really incompetent with website maintenance.

It's a shame too because I remember when the site first opened he had featured a whole bunch of themed stories about the Lab with scientists unleashing all sorts of transformative mayhem on people. Now none of those original stories are even there anymore.

How many characters is a good limit to go on for these sort of side-text stories? I've done green-texts before and I feel like trying out some of these (especially if we're doing TF themed ones) but I have a tendency to go overly long.

The rough idea is that a guy who bested a weeper Synx in combat is recovering in hospital, where the TF also takes place. Since a synx is a creature that preys on the weak, the TF taking place in a location such as a hospital makes for interesting implications.
I intend to grant extra attention to the mental shifting, and have wounds reopen during the process.
There's apparently a synx wikia, where you can read about the weeper thing I mentioned above. Perhaps I will try and integrate some facts from there in the story.

Trainers into their pokemon.
Anon visits the world of splatoon, gets corned by a bunch of inkling girls, and they splat him until he turns into a cute shota inkling-boy.
Midna turns Link into a copy of herself because she's suddenly in the mood for some good old fashioned selfcest. He protests, (she doesn't' care).
I also want to see some disney princesses getting TFed into some of their animal companions (Tigress Jasmine, etc).
In Brother Bear 2 Kenai ends up having his old girlfriend TFed into a bear, but they just go "POOF!" and now you're a bear! I'd much rather she gets TFed by hours of intense ursine sex.

As for another character -> character TF... there was a comic that I saw on Equestria Daily/Deviant Art by an artist called GoingLucky that depicts Twilight fulfilling Rainbow Dash's wish to be a 'griffin' by turning her into Peter Griffin.

I write it up in LibreOffice and then slap it onto the image in MS Paint. It's terribly inefficient and I would advice against it.

I have GIMP but... I'm not familiar with it. You're unable to just unselect whatever tool you have to grab parts of the image and move them around. If you select the text-editor, then you're stuck using the text editor. I can't figure out how to exit that and just edit the actual image. Also saving by exporting in an unnecessary pain.

Have you watched the original series? If not I would check out a few episodes just to see what the characters are like. One of my favorite aspects of cartoon character TFs are the personality changes.

For instance, Blitz is a narcissistic, macho pervert in the show -- so maybe the most girly girly member of the cheerleaders?

Exile's kinda harder to pinpoint though he's my favorite character. He's very Russian and often has trouble mixing Americanisms and Russian-isms (if I recall correctly).

Hunter is just the lovable goof of a leader. He's very naive but good-hearted and brave. Also a bit ditzy, but not really stupid -- again, just naive.

Also the show itself is decent fun. Not great, but the characters are good enough to make it enjoyable.... doesn't hurt that they're mostly sexy AF.

One thing I like in TF stories is when the transformation has a cultural element to it, like the person being changed also has to adapt to the culture of what they are becoming, with or without mind-alteration.

I had this idea where a guy got turned into an anthro rat girl and found themselves having to fit in with a society of rat people with traditional gender roles. She'd have to come to terms not just with the species change but also being a good housewife for her husband, having children, etc.

Anyone else think this idea has potential?

I'm a fan of goo/paint based TFs, personally.

For instance, some character TF's I like are those of Gloria the hippo or Shenzi, mainly b/c they're voiced by black women so the idea of some white dude turning into them has an added bonus.

I like this one. Only thing is I question how much of it is TF versus merely having the victim's body get coated in goo -- like they're the same species underneath rather than the goo actually, physically changing them into actual sheep.

Right, I had the same problem in my writing. The trick is that if you see that happening you can't just swap the words. Better to restructure sentences or paragraphs to work without them. Usually that sort of thing is just the most obvious symptom of an issue rather than the problem itself.
