Shill time! Falke here with a super-late completed High Seas TT.
This is a story about Nick and Judy being marooned on an island (resort). As I mentioned last time, it skips back and forth between period piece AU and modern times.
Enjoy!
>The next afternoon they left what Nicholas insisted on describing as camp behind them. There was some sailcloth and rope washed ashore with them, and enough wood to hold it all up in a wobbly tent in the soft sand. They had enough scrap wood and green fronds to set a smoky fire at the beachhead, in case a passing ship happened across them. Even luckier, a spring of fresh water trickled from between two boulders on the treeline. But food would need to be scrounged, and that had finally driven them to action.
>At least the island was picturesque while they explored for something to eat, along broad beaches in front of steep hills covered in greenery. They could hear birdsong and the drone and click of insects, and the constant gentle waves. The occasional brightly-colored crab crossed their path, waving its pincers in tiny challenge.
>"Still no prints," Judith said. She turned and shaded her eyes toward the horizon, straining as if she were listening for something. "And the sun will be down again soon enough. How big is this island?"
>"The larger it is, the better our chances of finding something to eat." Nicholas was determined to stay positive. It was bad enough that he was still limping. Every time he did it where Judith could see, her ears wavered. "Our luck will hold."
>She looked to put the feeling away. "I know."

Judy's pretty stronk so I'd imagine the force behind it would sting a little but
>no pads
>claws will probably miss unless they're angled right, and even then Zootopians probably file those fuckers down.
Also, I'm really having a hard time with the illusion of motion he's going for. It looks like he just slapped a bunch of DRAMA SPEED LINES everywhere and called it good

The whole time while reading this, I was fully expecting there to be signs of one timeline.
The constant skip was a nice way of keeping me interested; swerving from worried and anticipation, to comfy and amused. None of the transitions ever felt like they took away anything from the story. Great job!
>>9105404
Be sure to watch the movie before you die. Nick's got short legs.
>>9105298
Leg muscles > arm muscles, not to mention that scene is cartoon physics at their finest. I will agree that getting slapped, even by rabbit paw, in the muzzle would probably hurt something fierce. Talk about getting your teeth rattled.

You don't have to tell me twice. The shit of it is, only one of those is a course I actually needed. I got it in my head last term that my usual course load was lazy and that I wasn't a "real" college student, so I added on the other three for the holy hell of it.
Granted, I've been in that school for nearly three years. Probably a good idea to speed things up a bit, but still, I think I took it a bit too far.
>>9105923
Rockin' a solid 3 right now my man.
I'm working on a presentation that I'm giving in 10 hours while I still need to work on many other projects before and after it. Got a final project due at 6PM tomorrow (or I guess it's nearly today now) along with a draft due at 4PM. Don't have nearly enough work done on either, so it'll be plenty of work from now until tomorrow night.
Fun stuff!

The water is calm-- too calm... The oarsman rows, the captain keeps watch, the harpooner wants a juice box, and the whale lurks somewhere in the waters. Will they be able to take the great beast down? Did everyone remember not to eat 30 minutes before getting into the water? Find out in Moby Cheetah, by RT_Pilon!

VRbun hating on hoofers again... perhaps its time for some down and dirty bunishment!
Since you can't seem to get over your hatred of ungulates (Poor Dr Donk), how about you research how they survived in medieval times! Were they no more than serfs used as simple pack mules? Or were they masters of their own destiny?
How did they get by without manual dexterity? Did they sell out their skills as swift transportation, messengers, work 'horses' or merchants for clothes or shelter? Did they make deals with other species for protection? Will you be able to squeeze something about bun buns in this one?

>>9107750
>>9107778
Ah. Awesome to see someone drew that.
>>9108062
>Does this mean Rikuo might draw proto Judy?
The picture of Proto-Nick is sort of old, at least further than November, so we probably won't. Would be funny to see though.
Interesting thing about Rikuo's older/non-Zoot art; quite a bit of it seems to revolve some series of personified ship girls or something like that, and usually skirt the line between teasing and nearly lewd. It is still cute, but it's such a contrast from her Zootopia art.
Was requested to do a tube dood sleeping on a pillow. Didn't know who so I just looked through the fandom and picked Inky's Percy. I thought it was kinda cute, though I can see my own glaring issues.
>>9108203
Its a sleepyhead Percy!
Wonderful, Oak! I bet when Inky sees this, she'll be super excited!
>>9108178
Rikuo should draw Shorty Squad!
>>9108131
Did you draw this?
>>9108175
Oh you sweet innocent soul
I get the sense that Martina is something that Weaver wanted to do, and when anons chatted about the concept he rolled with it.
Honestly the CCs here are pretty chill people that bounce off happy ideas a lot and it's great.
>>9108309
Cute. Wish it is in better resolution.
>>9108303
Martina being Marty's sister it's canon.
Martina being Marty it's not, since traps are gay and Weaver is not into gay stuff.
>>9108260
Sadly, no. I have no artistic talent outside acting. I stumbled on that somewhere. Don't remember who did it.
>>9108355
You know, I had this feeling that he left Martina ambiguous specifically so he could justify any lewds of her as notgay
>>9105923
Oscillating between a comfy 7 and a 0 whenever I remember that I'm more than a quarter of a century old and without any significant interaction with the opposite sex and I can only say this in an anonymous Himalayan woodcarving forum.
I've basically failed at a basic feature of life.
So a 3.5, I guess?
>>9108203
Damn Oak, he's an adorable little sleepy tube!
>>9108432
Martina being Marty is like adding a trans character just to have diversity.
>>9105923
8, spending time with my husbando makes the worries go away.
>>9108432
He left her as ambiguous simply because he likes to screw with us
>>9108355
It's only gay if crossdressing Marty actually takes the dick, and Martina in any form being dicked isn't canon.

She gets a lot of attention from men though
How does that reflect on Marty if he's just cross-dressing? Pretty gay if you ask me
>>9107677
As long as it's not from PS.
>>9108530
Worth noting that in the line "よ、こいせ" I'm not 100% sure that's what it means, I'm just guessing he's saying a colloquialized version of "こっちおいで" (Get over here), since "こいせ" by itself has a lot of weird meanings that don't seem relevant
Wish Rikuo wrote with more kanji; it'd make translation a lot easier
>>9104980
Yeah, this was great

>"Hey Wolt, d-do you, uh-- do you know where a nearby park is?" I stammer, trying to regain control of the conversation.
>"Park?" Wolter leans forward way too close, squinting at me like he's never heard the term.
>Anneke's leaned into my face, squinting at me in a perfect (but way more aggressive) imitation of her brother's earlier behavior.
>"You better not be dickin' with me, sheep," she grumbles menacingly. "I can totally smell if you're lying."

I love all the hidden content Weaver hides in his work. Like in #Sheepfacts.
>"Hey..." Remmy squints his eyes at the aardwolf, "Wolt."
>"Yo Rammy."
>"Remmy.."
>The aardwolf chuckles "Right right, hey did you know me and my sister can't see for shit?"
>"No, why are you.."
>"Blind as fuck! Also in high school I totally got my heart broken by a bunner."
>Remmy takes a step back, clearly looking for an exit, "Okay but.."
>"Ya or maybe it was my sister who got her heart broken... fucking memories man."
>"Gotta go!" Remmy quickly turns and runs right into Ozzy.
>"Shit! Sorry Ozzy I.."
>The yeen shakes his head, "Hey it's cool Wooly Bully, not a big deal."
>"Okay well I should really get going."
>Ozzy's paws strike out and grasp Remmy's shoulders in an vice like kung fu grip. "I think my moms dead..."
>Remmy's eyes go wide and he stammers audibly, unable to say anything coherently.
>Ozzy leans down and bites the shaking ram's neck. "Alho umm a verpeer."

O.M.G.!!!
The author of Striped Up and Fox Hunt thoughts on the latest panel of I Will Survive
Then again, what do you expect from a guy who enjoys Zootopia "Dox Fick Cannot into Bunny But Human Micropenis Can" and writes two fanfics of Judy getting cucked by human female OCs.
>>9112155
>big nail small hole
Nails create holes and make hole biggers, what kind of comparison is that?
>>9112155
Wait, he enjoyed that Human x Judy fic?
I guess taste really is subjective.
>>9112155
I fucking despise how much attention you faggots give to the shitty content created by the fandom but absolutely ignore everything that is decent or even good.
I feel like I really should draw my ass off to make a rape babies ooc comic with humans to see how much discussions this shit would get.
>>9112199
> but absolutely ignore everything that is decent or even good.
>>9111380
>Apparently there's evidence throughout the story that Wolt and Anneke have really bad eyesight.
>>9111442
>"Hey Wolt, d-do you, uh-- do you know where a nearby park is?" I stammer, trying to regain control of the conversation.
>"Park?" Wolter leans forward way too close, squinting at me like he's never heard the term.
>Anneke's leaned into my face, squinting at me in a perfect (but way more aggressive) imitation of her brother's earlier behavior.
>"You better not be dickin' with me, sheep," she grumbles menacingly. "I can totally smell if you're lying."
>"You better not be trying to cockblock me, grazer!" Turning to the coyote, he squints at her. "Let me see that ID again."
>>9111467
>I reluctantly creep the car forward. Craning his neck out the window, his eyes widen as he spots the guard -- a young wolf girl snapping bubble gum and bouncing up and down in her seat to the radio. He slouches over and groans. "Fuck me. I know her."
I would not point any of this as evidence of bad eyesight. All of this is them just being confused, thinking, or trying to look intimidating.
In all of these cases they are really close to the given person and do not seem to have trouble rocognizing what the given person is or anything like that.
Most of the characters in the story did something like that.
He recognized the girl on larger distance. Larger than talking to someone next to you.
>>9112155
>well researched
he knows how discussions go. really enriches my discourses
>>9112199
It's funny how you say you despise such behavior while giving attention to said content.
This added to the fact that you immediately assumed an holier than thou position, giving hyperbolic descriptions of the "others" behavior, chastising them as not giving attention to good works.
Guess what? This is wrong. We give attention to good works, it's just normal though that stupid things like this attract some attention too. But it is not the good kind of attention. We make fun of it, it's like watching a trainwreck, you just want to know how big a disaster this will be.
What I mean to say, if you are serious and not baiting (very probable, giving the hyperboles) is get down your high horse and examine the situation critically.
Why all the hate for Borba? Everyone's just throwing shit at him and I'm just sitting here waiting the next page. Can't we all just agree that we all want to see more?
>>9112428
It's a theme too mature and real to this childish fandom. Also he roasted everyone after he proven that everything in the fandom was OOC since most things people create weren't shown in the movie.
>>9112428
I don't. I think Borbas art is fantastic but I despise this comic
I'm conflicted. On one hand, I agree with Nick about the baby and how it's a bloody miracle it exists in the first place. But I also agree with Judy wanting to have a career and not being ready for a baby. Though the scientist in me wins out. That baby is a data goldmine. Have the kid and give it up if it won't harm her then. I'm sure Nick would love to care for it. I'd just want the data from studying it.
>>9112428
My problem with Borba isn't that he's tackling a major issue such as what I Will Survive is tackling.
My problem is that not only is he just using Nick & Judy for the sake of using Nick & Judy (thus leading to the accusations of out of character behavior), but also...
...he's just not that good at voicing the subject. It's honestly like listening to JonTron parrot what he's heard other people say about immigration reform all over again.
He's also kinda proven he's just as bad as Spin when it comes to taking criticism.
His other Zootopia comics are alright for the most part, but IWS just... feels like a political cartoon wearing Zootopia skin.
>>9112428
Arguing with readers over feedback, e
portuguese only drama alongside with lightning flash reconsideration, pretentious commentary over a disney movie fanfic(especially one that got under my skin of how "not open minded about discussion of a heavy theme"), people acting like his writing is amazing because it contain abortion. This of course ignoring the TIWTLLL tier story since different strokes for different folks.
Have a transnick.
>>9112352
As a cc? Yeah, what he's saying is wrong, but it still feels right. It seems like an "Any attention is good attention" scenario where talent is superseded by the ability to disgust.
I know that's not the case, it just feels hard to argue as much at times.

It can't be a worse fumble than some other stuff I've heard or seen.
>>9112552
I understand, being a cc myself, that it can be seriously bothersome.
I mean, creating something about an highly discussed topic, where the protagonists act seriously OOC just for the sake of drama can generate an huge amount of replies, something that can be discouraging for someone who put body and soul into a work that tries to be good and gets only a fraction of said attention.
What I can say is only to create more and keep in mind that even a single comment of praise on a work well done is worth hundreds of the ones generated by a shitty work that exists only to arouse discussions.
When confronted with such a situation you have only two possibilities: a defeatist attitude or a constructive one, that will push you more toward the path of creation. I chose the second.

Nick wants to join the academy but he's got no job experience or degree. I won't spoil it, but it's a lot more realistic than boom, Nick's a cop. Very detailed and an amazing plot. Nick needs to prove that a former criminal has what it takes to earn the badge.
>>9113931
And it's one of the few stories where Nick is shown to be competent as hell. Nick was once in the inner circle of the most powerful mob boss in the city. No common criminal could do that.

THANKS!
>>9114035
>And it's one of the few stories where Nick is shown to be competent as hell. Nick was once in the inner circle of the most powerful mob boss in the city. No common criminal could do that.
And yet, he still sold a skunk butt rug to Mr. Big; it makes me wonder if there is any truth to the fan theories of that event being faked by both Big and Nick, it was a way for Nick to get out of the mob, but for appearance sake Big would have to kill Nick should be come near any of Big's business.
Above anything else in the movie, that is the one question I want answered. Especially since Nick almost seems regretful while being berated, unless that expression was also an act.
>>9114193
The fact that he did something so disrespectful and survived shows us that he had a shit ton of respect from Mr. Big. Only the most loyal and powerful members of the family could survive something like that. So it's safe to say Nick did it to leave the mob and had a high up position in the family.
>>9114288
It's not. Give it a try before dismissing it. https://www.fanfiction.net/s/12124275/1/Earning-The-Badge
It sounds simple but it's one of the best Zootopia stories in my opinion.

>AU where Nick joins back with Mr. Big after Judy botches the press conference.
>After Bellwether's arrest, it becomes a game of cat-and-mouse between the fox and the bunny; him leading her on supposedly random chases that end up being big busts.
>Drug and mammal trafficking rings, shining light on corrupt local officials and other officers, and the hardest case of her first three years, a slaughter house hidden under a church.
>And it's always while chasing that fox.
>Then, the night after returning from a visit to her home in the burrows, he's sitting in her kitchen, suave, dressed sharp, and with a little fluff sticking out around his neck, with a large meal layed out on her table.
>She's unarmed, and sees that her gun is on the kitchen counter, disassembled.
>She reaches for her cellphone, but there is no signal.
>So, after he points out that he just wants to have a nice meal, she plays along.
>It was actually an enjoyable dinner, with good conversation, she admitted to herself as he left.
>It happens again, a few days later, as the chief somewhat reluctantly tells her she's being promoted to Lieutenant.
>He tells her, though he feels it's a bit early, and he's not comfortable with skipping ranks, she does fit the bill, and it was a request from above.
>And Nick is in her apartment, coat smooth and groomed, relaxing on her couch with a gift box beside him.
>She opens it with a little hesitation, and pulls out a coat.
>It's red and cream-coloured, and somewhat coarse.
>She looks at him, confused.
>He tells her it's a fox coat, and she throws it at the couch as she backs away.
>After he's done laughing at her, he corrects himself, telling her the minute difference between the words 'fox' and 'faux' before adding it's made from real fox, but not a fox pelt.
>He holds it up to her, telling her to feel it.
>It's so fluffy!
>Taking her by the pay, he asks if she wants to have the best night of her life.
>She says 'Sure,' and he carries her to her bedroom.

That was a lie.
"Hey grazer, check it out," Wolt says, hopping into the driver's seat with a pair of sunglasses slung on over his muzzle. "Whaddya think of my new shades? Pretty nice, huh?"
It's like, one in the morning -- should you really be driving with sunglasses on at night, Wolt? "Oh, real nice. Those Elkleys?"
"Friend of mine found a case of them that'd fallen off the back of a truck," he boasts, adjusting the seat up a dozen or so notches so he can see over the steering wheel.
"Not bad. You, uh, you might want to take the price tag off though," I chuckle. He glances at himself in the rearview mirror, blushing a little before plucking the tag loose from the right earpiece.
>>9115787
It's possible.
Still, given his defence was that he wasn't sure if he wanted to return them, I doubt they were dollar store. They did appear to be "Elkleys", who do make good sunglasses including prescription ones I think.
