Thank you Tom for yet again completely fucking with Keidran maturity once again. Zen is only a year older than Natani and if the wolf in this pic is supposed to be Zen, that means that a 1 year old Keidran is basically the equivalent of human 5 year old

So if 1 year = 5 years in Keidran aging and Zen is currently 14 years old than why doesn't he appear 70!

Can't say I've ever actually burned through a Wacom. Worse that happened was that I scratched up my Bamboo pretty bad in college (mostly from shoving it in and out of my backpack so often), but I've been using a protective film on my Intuous 5 ever since I got it.

Maybe if I was actually using my Intuos enough to burn it out I would be a better artist, though.

He has a Cintiq 24HD. Capacitors on the power board are going out, so it's more of an LCD-related problem than anything you would normally encounter with a Bamboo/Intuos. It's something that you can fix with an hour of youtube videos, a trip to the local electronics store for the appropriate replacement caps and a soldering iron (maybe buy one of those LCD clock kits to practice on, if you aren't confident you won't fuck your $3000 tablet), and a little bit of swearing while you try to take apart a monitor that is held together with deep-set screws and blind clips.

I had a Samsung monitor go on me once and I was able to fix it by changing the caps. Unfortunately the motherboard bricked a year later and everyone online said there was no way to repair it, so I trashed it. I had no idea a monitor's motherboard even could brick before that.

I've toyed with the idea of getting a cintiq for many years but currently I'm 2poor, and I've decided I'm not going to get one unless I can make money doing art on my Intuos.

Also there should be no realistic way that flora will come out alright after giving birth. Of not due to the complications of giving birth to a hybrid child for the first time in a really long time (Raine is a special exception so I won't talk about her here) it would be that the other demigods or the demigod representing the humans would do something itself to punish those who have hybrid children since neutral opened the door to that once more. No way that the other mask demigods would not know about neutrals actions and not doing something themselves to "even the playing field"

I don't think Chaos is even aware of what Neutral's done, or at the very least we've gotten no indication of it. Maybe he thinks what the others are assuming, that Flora just cheated behind Trace's back. So by that logic, she's not breaking any universal laws that'd prompt Chaos to attack her, she's just letting nature resume unabated (at least for one couple, we still don't know for sure if it's just exclusive to Trace and Flora or not)

I think although you may be right that all may change when the master seer templars learn of this after spying on flora and trace (probably after moving away from Keith and Natani when they may start to get too intimate for the girls liking.) The cat or bird that the seer controls could over hear Flora and Trace talking about their thoughts on their baby that flora is pregnant. After this chaos will definitely know about the hybrid thing neutral has done and since although chaos basically has the game won at this point, a hybrid of the other races would mean that hw would be cheated out of victory since someone down the line could be 1/128 keidran and though looks completely human neutral would still be in the game since nor all keidran blood is extinct.

My theory is that chaos can't undo what neutral has done since like a game of chess you can't unmoved what the opponent has done. What chaos COULD do though is tat he can make having hybrid children be such an ordeal for the one pregnant that a near 100% fatality rate of the mother giving birth to a hybrid could be a thing. This way neutral could still have the hybrids she wants and chaos can have his detract and punishment for having such a thing happen. But how and why? Chaos punishing Flora for giving birth to the embodiment of what he basically stands for doesn't make any sense.

Part of it is linguistic and it likely comes out of the idea of merging states through marriage. One kingdom has a male heir, and the other has a female heir. Obviously they're not both going to be referred to as king if they marry and their kingdoms merge, so that may be in part why "queen" ended up being both the preferred term for a female monarch and the name for the king's wife.

Oddly enough though, a queen's husband is rarely called king unless he is the crowned monarch. If the queen is the ruler, her husband is usually called a prince.

It makes sense for nocturnal species but much less so for diurnal species which are mostly active during the day. A sunny day with such eyes would be near blinding as everything would appear much more intensely lit than we see it like seeing the world through an intense brightness filter all day long.

I'm not bothered with Natani being sexualized, every non-human character in the comic has been sexualized to death whether they be male or female, so what makes Natani off-limits? Because it triggers special snowflakes? Well fuck them.

No what bugs me with how Natani is being portrayed is that she had a chance to be a genuinely interesting and complex character but since the beginning Tom has steadily steered her towards being he butt of most of the dirty jokes which totally diminishes any chance of her being taken seriously.

Now we have Raine in a similar situation with Natani reaching the climax of her gender-identity plot. While Raine is not gender confused, she is confused about her place in the world given shes both human and keidran, identifying as one while also being curious of the other. How long before the dirty joke focus shifts to Raine and we are left with only characters of Flora and Kat tier?

Maren is expendable, shes only come along to find Trace and when she finds him with Flora and Flora pregnant shes probably going to flip out and abandon the group (though I hope amicably, I'd hate for her to become Judas)

Karen has never been important to the plot, she literally only exists to annoy everybody and amuse the reader. While Madelyn is similar shes at least proven herself useful and competent. Karen however is just there.

Who isn't to say that Natani hasn't been intentionally bulking up over the years to try and make herself look more masculine and to try and better disguise her feminine physique? I'd say that this was met with mixed results as though she does have visibly big muscles her womantly features are still present and she still has somewhat a soft womanly look on her in some places.

Being a melee isn't all about strength, its also about agility and speed. Too much muscle would slow him down and make it easier for his marks to out maneuver him. Remember hes an assassin, not a barbarian.

I agree with Natani bulking up to appear more masculine, shes a mage rather than a melee fighter so her fighting up close and personal doesn't really play to her strengths. However she can draw on Zen's skill as well as Zen doing the same, its how he casted that Maren illusion. In close quarters having all that muscle might slow her down but at least she can fight using Zen's skill through the link rather than being some scrawny mage pushover.
