Honestly it is a good plot point, but not of a character who justifies her wrongdoings on "I want to make the world a better place" to be saying. The comic undermines Judy whole character, not that it doesn't already do that with Nick by making Judy the calm collected voice of reason while Nick is the crazy emotional blackmailer.

I just want a story where both nick and judy are in character, where there's no fucking stupid love octagons and relationship tension comes from *within* the relationship, and where the drama is believable and not too edgy.

I know it's a lot to ask of fanfiction. Unreasonably so. But every time I wonder if I should maybe cut the fandom some slack, shit like these abortion comics or the whatever the fuck that serial killer one is comes along, and I decide that no, fuck this, I am going to be shallow and snooty and ruthlessly judge everything that doesn't meet those standards. The inability to characterize or stick to reasonable plots is actually kind of offensive sometimes.
