Now we're talking.
>>
Its been some time since I was last here, does the humans have the ability to talk and be understood?
>>
>>8985313
For most stories, yes. They tend not to talk though. Mean Dog is the only one I know off the top of my head where they can't communicate.
>>
>>8985313
Well,in Mean Dog,humans can understand furs and can communicate with other humans.
>>
>>8986074
Actually, they can't understand furs since the premise is that Anon is scared of sam because she speaks german, which is a natually more angry sounding language, and he doesn't understand it.
>>
>>8979771
You couldn't be a MILF if you couldn't get a guy, since MILF stands for Mother I'd Like to Fuck.
>>
>>8985313
depends on what you mean and what story.
do you mean the humans as in pets? for most stories, no they can't talk at all. some might at the most have them make noises that might mean some basic want, but a few might have them be capable of learning a few words at the most like parrots. The Fennec Fox tales I been writing might have the most communication capable for the pet humans where they still only can learn a few words or phrases at most, but they can grasp the basic meaning of simple words enough to be capable of being taught that you say 'Hello' when seeing someone as a greeting. Unlike a parrot which would just blabber out 'hello'.

Do you mean the MC humans transported to the furry run world? For the most part, yes they can speak and communicate and understand the furries, a very few have them either speak completely different languages or in the case of the occassional short one off green text post, all attempts at speech come out as barks and growls.

Well, in summer it doesn't matter much but can be important if your human burns easy. Without fur the sun can leave them red and tender. In the winter, they definitely need clothes to stay warm.
>>
>>9007503
Depends on the owner and the human.
Some owners prefer their humans wearing clothing and some thinks it weird.
A lot of humans don't seem to mind clothing if its made of comfortable materials or helps against cold or heat, But if a human doesn't like the clothing they'll let you know. Mostly by trying to tear it off.

The Smooth Among Us

Chapter 2

>Two days have passed since the necromancer's fall, and since I came to this land.
>Two days without any human contact. While normal for the trappers or rangers, was nothing I was familiar with.
>Sometimes, I could swear I heard the voices of my companions. Mostly Luminae, her voice haunted me at nights. Each and every night when I closed my eyes, I could hear her sing. Her voice seemed to come from the darkest corner of my mind, and thus every night I closed my eyes, I was reminded of the price we paid to get rid of the Necromancer.
>Today has been a little more bountiful than yesterday, as I have managed to catch a rabbit.
>It was more of a stroke of good luck actually, On my way through the forest, I saw a hole, in that hole I found a famished hare.
>Thanks to that trap, I now knew that there were trappers about, and I will sooner or later find someone who'll be able to tell me the way to the nearest city.
>Meanwhile however, I had to eat and what little remained from my salted meat was supposed to last me till the day I can replenish my supplies in a shop.
>despite being able to skin the rabbit, a more difficult task was ahead of me.
>Thanks to morning's rain, all the wood I have managed to gather was damp.
>This was an attempt number three to make a fire, and I was running low on tinder too.
>Cursing under my breath as the spark once again failed to set tinder ablaze.
>"Damnation!" I cursed loudly this time around as the spark once again failed.
>After few more moments however, the tinder caught flame, and I saw movement from the corner of my eye. Something was on the prowl.
>I turned my head around to look where I saw it, but saw naught. The lack of wind however made it impossible for the bushes to move on their own.
>Now was a time to choose, what shall I do. Shall I risk losing the fire for some mouse? Or should I die because I underestimated the dangers?
cont.
>>
>>9013815
cont.
>The tinder was smoldering and I couldn't see anything. Making sure that my Pollaxe is by the ground next to the fireplace, I continued to warily blow into the tinder.
>Looking left and right, straining both my eyes and my ears trying to pick up on the intruder.
>Suddenly everything seemed to move, the grass, the leaves, even the bushes.
>The fire started and I slowly put it on the ground among the driest of the twigs.
>Quickly reaching for the not so damp twigs, holding them above the fire, I could feel the warmth rise from the small fire.
>It was like feeding a stray dog, the more you gave, the more hungry it became and stronger it has grown.
>After I was sure that the damp twigs would not smother the flame I placed the twigs in, and once again I saw movement at the same place.
>This time however I waste no time.
>With uncommon swiftness I grab my pollaxe and strike at the place where I saw the movement.
>Scared and screeching the enemy turns to flee. Jumping away from the bush and onto a tree. Quickly clawing its way up its trunk.
>This place seemed to ebb away my sanity. For it is the first time I missed so badly, and the first time I attacked a small squirrel.
>With the monstrous enemy retreating, I could afford to celebrate my victory by returning to the carcass of the hare and its preparation.
>It had little meat on its bones, not enough for a satisfying roasted hare, better suited for a soup, however there was no pot. Unwilling to take off my helmet and use it as an impromptu pot, I decided to roast the hare anyway.
>When I prepared the makeshift holder for the hare, I stood up. Stretching my hands.
>"I'm not as young as I used to be." I mumbled as my aching shoulder slowly stopped hurting.
>There... To my right, a noise was coming from the right.
>Slowly turning my head to ascertain the situation, and prepare for another assault by the abominable squirrel.
cont.
>>
>>9013829
>There seemed to be something hiding behind an outcropping of a big boulder.
>Judging by the size I was rather certain that it was not a squirrel, even though it had the rodent's face.
>I quickly grabbed my Pollaxe and prepared for a battle. The rodent slowly walked around the stone, revealing huge furred body with two pairs of strong legs, and one pair of clawed hands.
>He might've been a cousin of the squirrel I chased away a few moments ago, however his size predicted a little less one-sided fight.
>It seemed like this is going to be a day full of first times.
>First was the miss, then the squirrel, and now this rodent of unusual size.
>"I didn't think you would exist." I said, and with that the animal leapt forward with a screech.
>I knew that this fight is going to be much harder than the last one.

>The darkness has came and it seemed that today I'll return empty handed back to the village.
>After resting for a day, Issa made me stand up and checked my body. Deeming that there was nothing broken, and that I got incredibly lucky, and that I'll be able to leave the tree house, and return to my daily life.
>I was glad that I could do so, lying in a bed is not only boring, but it feels disrespectful towards the elders.
>Nevertheless the pain was still there. High Priest Issa said that the broken bones hurt less so the dying can pass on without too much trouble, but that the bruises hurt much more and longer for such is a price to pay for life.
>I was glad that I could and once again prove useful, but the pain made sure that I'll be in no shape to hunt with spear. Instead I was preparing traps for smaller animals, but I took the spear with me nonetheless.
>It of course included digging holes throughout most of the day. Now that the Sun Lord was chasing the Moon lady over the horizon, and darkness was slowly creeping into the land, my job was nearly over. Fifteen traps have been prepared.
cont.
>>
>>9013850
>Some of them were however already dug out, and only needed some maintenance, others were completely new.
>I was especially looking forward to see if the traps near the hill of the ancients had any good game.
>Unlike other hunters, my day was not over when I set the traps, no. I went back to the first trap and checked upon each and every last one of them. This was my secret of a good hunter. It meant that if the trap caught anything, the prey had less time to escape.
>Walking through the night was one of the less pleasurable things in my life. Darkness creeping from every corner meant that hunter could easily become the hunted.
>It was also the time at which the Ancients were also more active.
>"They come at night" the Chieftain always said, and he knew what he was talking about.
>The first trap was still prepared and the bait was untouched by the smaller animals.
>Turning away I started walking towards the second trap which I prepared. Warily looking around and stopping dead in my tracks quite often due to noises which the forest made at night.
>The crickets were chirping, flies were buzzing, but birds, birds were silent.
>It was a bad sign, where insects have no care for the world and their predators are away, it means that there is something larger lurking around.
>But the second trap was just a few more steps away.
>I crept through the bush towards the trap, and found that the trap has sprung.
>Smiling to myself, I crept over to see just what I managed to catch.
>Bringing food to the village the same day would be a giant stroke of luck.
>Looking left and right to see if anyone else is here, I found nobody, but there were some footprints.
>Footprints this close to the trap meant that it was probably going to be looted, and by looking over the corner, I found only the leaves and some broken sticks.
>Turning my head, I looked at the footprints and examined them thoroughly.
cont.
>>
>>9013863
>The paw which made this mark was lacking in fingers, it looked more like a hoof, but it was much longer than hoof.
>Judging from the depth, it must've weighted around or more than 100 kilos which was on the heavier side considering that it was walking on two legs.
>I have got no idea what this thing was. The only known bipedal aside from us who would be able to walk in here were Horse people, Wolfmen, and Catfolk. Fish kind didn't stray far from water, and the others had different feet.
>The night was almost upon me, yet I felt curiosity which was slightly tugging me, whispering in my mind to follow the trail and see for myself.
>However where is curiosity, there must be vigilance. It might've been a trap.
>Once again, straining my ears to pick up anything that would give me a clue about what was going on. Not forgetting to taste the air too
>There were bugs, there was a slight gust of wind, but nothing that would suggest any imminent danger.
>If I had come here earlier, I would no doubt rush down and track the thing, but with limited light. I had to turn away.
>Then my ears caught a sound of footsteps.
>Turning around, and prepared for anything that was slowly coming my way.
>However, one second later, I knew who was coming.
>"Trum." I said as he emerged from the bushes.
>"Hotam?" He was slightly surprised to see me here. Then he looked between my feet and back up at me.
>"Are you also tracking the beast?" He asked.
>"Yes, it has strange feet, but I doubt it's because of injury." I added, and he nodded.
>"I thought the same." was his answer, and I felt once again the need to go and explore.
>"Let's go." He said, and I agreed without thinking about it.
>We had a little light to go on, but since we were together now, there was almost nothing, short of group of ancient ones, which would dare to attack us now.
>We've tracked the beast for only ten minutes more, until I stopped Trum with a gesture.
cont.
>>
>>9013882
>He looked over my shoulder, but saw naught, I licked the air again, and he did so too.
>There was a fire somewhere close, we couldn't see it now, but the hint of smoke was in the air.
>We continued to prowl onwards until we've heard the screams.
>Bestial screeches that meant only one thing, the Ancient ones, and probably the rodent Ancients.
>I hesitated, whatever was up there was being attacked by the ancients, and not one, but at least two from the sounds, but it was still far away.
>There was also a fire, but it produced a lot of smoke.
>"Should we go there?" Trum asked and I looked at him, unsure what to tell him.
>this has been going for quite some time.
>Those beasts, they are way beyond dangerous. Not only they are slightly bigger than regular knight on a horse, but they also had way too many limbs.
>Me on the other hand. I was heavily armored target for them. Which didn't help at all, but I had reach where they had only strength, and their tails, must not forget their tails.
>Right now the second Squirrel warrior was circling around me, while the first one was screaming in my face.
>My cuirass was bent inwards from the sheer force he used to hit me, but his clawing was for naught.
>That was before the second one showed up.
>Since then, lot has changed. I was still in the fight, but breathing was slightly harder and I was getting tired. However, the first ancient one was clutching his broken elbow on his upper limbs.
>If he circles around me completely, I'll be at huge disadvantage.
>To my right was a tree, to my left was a bonfire which managed to get burning quite nicely, and the hare was burnt already.
>The second one was right next to the fire. In my reach but If I swing the Pollaxe towards him, that'll leave me open to his injured friend here.
>However, there was no other choice, so I took a step back, and swung the bladed part against him.
>>
>>9013920
>He expected it and jumped back. I was reversing the direction already when the first one took a step forward in an attempt to kick me.
>Taking a few steps back and two to left, I was trying to place the fire between us, when the hammer missed him and struck the tree with loud thud.
>The second one attacked through the fire in an attempt to bash my head in.
>Instead of doing so I dodged to the right, and hit him with the spike on the butt of the pollaxe.
>The spike went deep in his forearm.
>However that left me open to the first one who grabbed the other end of the pollaxe and tried to yank it away from me.
>He had strength, but I held on and tried to drive the spike at the head into his shoulder.
>Missing completely, I got bashed once again, this time in my back. However with his injured arm, it didn't have much impact.
>Still holding my weapon, I had no other choice than to let go with left hand and grab the dagger.
>Once he sensed that I had let go of my weapon, it tried to yank it away again.
> By that time however, I had lodged my dagger in his...
>His...
>What is the damnable name of the part where humanoid body joins with that of a horse? belly?
>No matter the name, for it bleeds just the same.
>Pushing the dagger all way in and then twisted the blade.
>The monster let go of my pollaxe and screamed in pain, clutching the nameless body part in agony while spurting blood.
>I hoped that this would put him out of action, but then I felt excruciating pain in my lower back.
>It felt like I was kicked by a horse. I would fall over if the first monster wasn't right in front of me.
>Quickly pushing myself to the side, away from the two.
>I landed on my pollaxe. rolling from top of it, and hearing the screeching monster behind me, I raised it up just in time to stab the...
>The belly of the horse part, I don't care how you call those body parts!
cont.
>>
>>9013931
>The Pollaxe got lodged in the ground and a loud snapping could've been heard as the pole snapped in half.
> The monster however gasped, and fell. Much to my dismay, on me.
>My pain was so intense, that I saw white and then I saw nothing more.
>Trapped beneath a horse-squirrel thing, I blacked out.

>"Am I dreaming Trum?" I asked, once we've managed to come to the campfire.
>Ancient ones usually didn't make fires. However, they were the strongest things in the forest, at least to my knowledge.
>So when we've came to the scene of two dead Ancient Squirrels, My mouth was left hanging.
>"They are dead." Trum said, less shocked than I am.
>We've slowly crept closer to investigate.
>There was a lot of blood, whatever killed those two knew exactly where to strike.
>There was also this strange shiny doll, or a metallic fetish, or whatever it was. Looking like upper half of a faceless bipedal.
>Whoever killed them was either hiding or ran away
>The second Ancient Squirrel was lying on top of it.
>"They were preparing a hare." Trum said, and I looked over, to see what was he talking about.
>There in a fire was laying a charred corpse of a hare.
>"When they got attacked." Trum finished his theory, however there was a slight problem.
>"Ancients don't cook" I said. "Anyway, it's getting really dark, let's take as much meat as we can from these, before whatever killed them comes back."
cont.
>>
>>9013947
>Eating ancient ones was a delicate matter. However High Priest Issa managed to make it clear to us in a simple statement. "If it is not Ancient one that looks like you, it is safe to eat it."
>It was also said that eating a flesh of an ancient one who looks like you would ruin your mind and turn you into living carcass.
>When I wanted to cut the meat from the one with the big doll, I noticed a metallic weapon lodged in the corpse. Pulling it out, revealed an intricate ornaments decorating the incredibly long axe with a hammer and a spike.
>This was definitely not a work of Ancient ones.
>Then my heart froze, as something started coughing right by my feet.

So ends the Chapter 2: The Iron Man.

Holy fucking shit, I Made it before I had to leave. Skreetz the Rat here. Hope you enjoyed today's chapter, and if not, feel free to tell me what's wrong with it.

FUCK! why did I start writing Rabbit but then switched to hare?!

This confused me at first. You should seperate narratives from different characters.

Great work. Happy you continue this story. I enjoy this read.

I did, I could show you the office document where there were the enter was located, also notice that there are enters in the remaining two points where the narratives are switched. for some reason however, it failed there.

>However, the first ancient one...
This is what confused me more personally.
'ancient one' is something the snake people would say not the human, at least from my understanding of the context.

I was looking forward to more of this.
Humans are the dragons is a cool concept.

I really like the story you're telling here, but the grammar is a horrific mess. A lot of sentence structures aren't right at all or there are really awful choices, like
>Deeming that there was nothing broken, and that I got incredibly lucky, and that I'll be able to leave the tree house, and return to my daily life.
Why chain conjunctions over and over? It's also a fragment along with sounding awful. This is something that's in your writing here and there because, I'd assume, nobody is looking at this for you, but this particular update feels like you wrote it up then posted before giving it a single once over.

Please get someone to fix up your work if you can. The good ideas in your stories are being wasted by messy prose.

Mean Dog update
>>
>>9020370
>You always appreciated the effort the dog put in to feed you.
>She made a variety of dishes, let you eat at the table if you wanted, and seemed to be getting really good at it.
>Sometimes she’d make something strange, and of course you couldn’t make any requests since she couldn’t understand you, but everything felt like it was made with you in mind.
>You took a bite of your grilled cheese, savoring the deep flavor of cheddar with the salty tang of ham.
>She was learning your weaknesses.
>Screw it though, it had been what, a decade since your mom made you grilled cheese and tomato soup?
>You chomped into your sandwich, feeling the crunch of butter-fried bread.
>God, this took you back.

>A giggle drew your attention to the other side of the table.
>Maurie had her mouth around the straw of her juice box and blew into it, causing the half empty carton to inflate with small crinkling noises.
>You’d think portable juice was the most amazing thing in the world the way she smiled and sucked it concave again, draining it dry this time.
>She picked up another box from the table and turned it around in her hands.

>”Non, where’s the stick?”

“Stuck to the side.”

>She found it after a few rotations, peeled it off with a small grunt, and started shoving it into the side of the box, far from the insert hole.
>Juice leaked out of the side and onto her lap as she tried to force it in.
>Dammit, she was going to make a mess.
>You got up quickly and grabbed it from her.

>”Hey, that one’s mine!”
>>
>>9020379
>You went to one of the kitchen counters, taped the side, and poked the straw through the foil insert.
>Maurie gave you a grumpy stare until you came over and handed it to her.
>Understanding came across her features and she took it from you, sipping away and swinging her feet under her.
>After a moment she met your eyes, looked at her food, then bit her lip and looked back at you.
>She lowered her head and scooted a bit away from the table, pursing her lips and gripping the sides of her chair.
>You narrowed your eyes, trying to figure out what she was up to.
>If you try to think like a pet, this was a lot like submitting to an alpha.
>Poor girl… did she have to do that at the pound?

“I’m not going to take your food, Maurie,” you said and headed back to your spot.

>Maurie stayed quiet and fiddled with her hands in her lap before scooting in and going back to her meal.
>Made you wonder what things were like back at the “big place.”
>Maurie was a bit thin now that you noticed.

>You found yourself taking small bites, watching her.
>She grinned and picked up her sandwich in both hands, then took another massive bite out of the center.
>The sides of her cheeks dripped with cheese and crumbs clung along the sides of her mouth.
>Maurie hadn’t even gotten to the soup yet.
>You can only imagine the mess.
>Suddenly the way the dog had fed you at first made much more sense.
>She’d started with bits of kibble in a bowl, then chicken nuggets and finger foods.
>Then a spoon with apple sauce, which was easy enough to clean and wouldn’t stain if you’d been like this and got it everywhere.
>If Maurie was any clue, humans in this world could handle some tools, as she could pick up the straw and understood it needed to go somewhere on the box, but you remember the strange look the dog girl had given you when you’d eaten with a fork the first time.
>Was that not normal here?
>>
>>9020400
>Maurie gulped down the last of her sandwich, let out a satisfied ‘ah’ and then plunged face first into her soup.
>It splattered across the front of her dress and partway across the table.
>You took another small bite of your sandwich.

>Well that answers that.

>The deer came around the corner and flinched.
>>“Oh baise!” she said.

>The deer rushed over and held up a pointer finger, looking ready to scold Maurie.
>Maurie looked up and smiled innocently, tomato soup dripping all the way from her nose to her chest.
>Giving a sigh, the deer rubbed her forehead and groaned.
>She pulled Maurie’s arms above her head and slipped the dress right off her in one smooth motion.
>You choked as a pair of tanline-free breasts jostled free in the open air.
>It felt like it’d been so long since you’d seen human breasts.
>No internet, and nothing but the two animal girls.
>They had assets, that was for sure, but you couldn’t help but lean forward and feel your mouth open as you stared at her smooth bosom.

>The deer rushed past you into the laundry room, making annoyed sounds under her breath.
>Maurie looked over at you and quirked her head, just as you had the good conscience to avert your eyes.

>”What? Anon, what are you staring at?”
>You cleared your throat.
“N-Nothing. Just… Maurie, does anything feel odd to you right now?”

>”Like what?”

“Don’t you want to…” you said, gesturing with your hand, “put something on?”

>”I’m not cold, Anon. I have warm soup in my tummy.”

>You grumbled and took another bite of your food.
>Humans in this world apparently had no nudity taboo.
>But Maurie had at least come in wearing something, even if it were a moist breeze away from being transparent.
>And the dog had bought clothes and hadn’t had much of a reaction to you dressing yourself.
>Did humans learn to dress themselves or did they do it naturally?
>Maybe some humans naturally had instincts to cover themselve—
>>
>>9020416
>Your view of the wall was replaced by tan cleavage.
>You almost choked for real this time and snapped your eyes up to Maurie’s face.
>She was leaning over, hands on her knees, incidentally pressing her breasts together in front of you while giving you a curious look.

>”Are you mad? You’re scrunching your face real strange and ignoring me.”

>You beat your chest, trying to swallow.
“Maurie, for the love of god...”
>You took off your red, zipperless jacket and popped it over her, pulling her head and arms through with only a bit of trouble and whining from Maurie.
>It was big on her, the sleeves going past her wrists and the torso concealing most of her figure.
>Though it still curved around her chest, and most of her upper thigh remained exposed.
>If she bent over, it would ride up and expose her butt, but it was something for now.
>You tilted your head as you looked her over, watching her getting used to the feeling of the sleeves.
>Maurie looked cute, like an oversized kid wearing their siblings clothes.
>She looked up at you with a small frown.

>”Did I do something weird?”

“No, Maurie it’s just—Did humans wear clothes at the big place?”

>”Of course. We have a bunch of green zipperups that keep us covered, but I really love rolling around and feeling soft grass all over, so I tried to take it off outside all the time. The fluffers at the big place always stopped me though.”

>Zipperups probably meant something like a jumpsuit.
>Makes sense.
>They can’t really give clothes to each and every stray.
>And the material might not be comfortable but it was rugged and it wouldn’t matter if they stained it.

“So the deer, er, I mean your fluffer, she gave you that dress?”

>And skulks around to see if you try it on or not.
>Or maybe she just liked to see you naked.
“Anyhow, I hope the jacket isn’t too hot or uncomfortable for now.”
>>
>>9020430
>Maurie looked down and swished her hips back and forth, feeling the fabric rub up against her.
>”It’s a little warm but my legs are free so it’s not bad. Besides…”
>She pulled the collar up and smushed it up against her nose.
>”It smells really good, Anon,” she said, a hazy look coming over her for a moment.
>Hm, must be nice detergent.
>You wouldn’t know.
>You might be nose blind compared to Maurie.
>Either way, it’ll do for now.

“Alright, I’ll be finished in a bit. Be good, okay?”
>You went back to your lunch without much more and Maurie decided not to bug you.
>She instead went to explore around the kitchen, not going farther than the hallways where she had sightline toward you.
>A few times Maurie came over to see how close to being done you were, and you could tell by the way she shifted her weight she wanted to say something but choose not to.
>No sense in asking, as you were pretty sure she was just impatient to play, but it was good to see she could respect boundaries of sorts.
>She wasn’t an animal, but you wouldn’t say she was a child either.
>You tipped your bowl back, finishing off the last of your meal.

>That did make you think though…
>If Maurie was a typical human in this world, that meant nobody could help you.
>But more than that, it forced you to realize one thing.
>You put your face in your hands and groaned.
“I’m a goddamn pet.”
>You let out a long breath.
>Everything made a lot more sense now.
>It didn’t make it BETTER but you’d take being a cat or dog in this world over being a meal some dog demon kept around.
>But you were still a pet.
>You crossed your fingers in front of your mouth and leaned your elbows on the table.
>A pet with an owner who had a short fuse.
>That was the problem, and the deer was pretty mean sounding too at times, though to a lesser extent.
>>
>>9020455
>Your gaze drifted over to Maurie, who had found a bar of soap by the kitchen sink
>She rotated it around as she looked at it and gave if a sniff.
>Would she be okay?
>Should you do something to help her?
>Maurie would be staying with the deer so you couldn’t really watch over her.
>Then again, it’s not like you could really stop either creature if they really wanted to hurt her.
>But the deer wasn’t nearly as bad.
>When she was alone with you, she seemed calmer, even a bit sensual strangely enough.
>Maurie was a girl so she wouldn’t be molested.
>She’d need to be cautious but she was in a much safer situation.
>Maybe she could take care of herself?

>“Anon, I found a snacky!” Maurie called out, holding up the bar of soap.
>She took a bite and chewed with a bright smile on her face, just as you’d opened your mouth to say something.
>Maurie’s chewing stopped and the look of happiness on her face dissolved away.
>She turned to the bar of soap, a jagged bite mark taken out of the corner and a look of pure betrayal came across her face.
>“Waaaghh, isch baad,” she said, bubbles flying out of her mouth.

>Maybe she’d need some help.

--

>The guest room on the upper floor of the house always made you feel at ease.
>A desk sat a small distance away from the bed, next to a window facing the driveway.
>You’d sit and glance through books you couldn’t read, but as long as you left the window open a crack, you could hear the dog come home and look out to know exactly how much time you had to put everything back.
>There were even a few stowed treat boxes that hadn’t been found yet and a few cans of food under the bed.
>Granted they were cans of pizza sauce and you had nothing to open them with.
>But it felt RIGHT.
>Someday the dog would get fed up and choose not to feed you, but you’d just laugh and slurp up pizza-y goodness.
>>
>>9020475
>For now, you had some tests you put Maurie through in front of you.
>You picked up one of the sheets, a basic addition and subtraction exercise set you made, and turned it sideways.
“Maurie, what did you draw on this?”

>The girl bounced on the bed, the red jacket she now owned resting on her shoulders and a bright smile on her face.
>She’d also picked out a pair of bicycle shorts which you’d never wore, saying she liked stuff that felt good on her skin.
>”It’s you me and mama.”

>What? No, that’s clearly a shoe and a—
>Wait.
>You flipped it upside down.
>There it is.
>Before you, across your carefully penned math problems, was a somewhat childish picture of two humans and a deer person all hugging and laying down on a bed, cuddling.
>Shit… that’s actually really cute. Maurie was real sweet.

>”Turn it over.”
>You flipped the page and saw what looked like two humans, one bent over and on their hands and knees, while the second kneeled behind them and was thrusting into their backside.
>There were hearts all over the page.
>”We’re making each other feel good!”
>Your eye twitched.
>You crumpled up the sheet and tossed it in the wastebasket.
>”Hey!”

>Maurie hopped down and grabbed the sheet out of the trash, giving a dirty look as she straightened it out on her chest.
>You sighed.
>Whatever, it was just a drawing.
>What’s important is that you found out math was beyond her, or at the very least, she was completely illiterate.
>You picked up the second sheet, a coloring page featuring some strange human cartoon characters.
>Maurie had carefully colored inside the lines and even added a few small details to the scene that the lineart hadn’t dictated, like a bow tie and small hair accents.
>Nothing crazy but she had surprised you.
>Part of you expected her to hand it back with a bunch of colorful scribbles or covered in drool.
>>
>>9020500
>This gave you a much better idea of where she lay in terms of intelligence.
>It also told you she had as much dexterity as you, if not a little more.
>She seemed able to smell things better too—she’d found your canned food almost right away.
>You’d have to share.
>She made you promise.
>No matter…

>You steepled your fingers and hummed to yourself.
>This was good but you had so many questions still.
>Humans in this world could develop language but not writing, and had, despite humanities clear evolutionary deficiencies, managed to—
>You heard a faint squish from behind, making you pause.
>No, don’t get distracted.
>Maurie probably found a bug or something.

>You took a breath, concentrating again.
>Here, animal people were the dominant ones, maybe causing human evolution to stifle by breeding them as pets.
>But how deep did this rabbit hole go…
>And Maurie… could you even come to understand how her mind works?
>Between her playfulness and innocence, she had an eye for detail, the drawing proves as much.
>What kind of secrets could humans discover they could commune with these other humans?
>It could—
>You heard a wet slick sound and Maurie let out a little eep.
>It could answer some of the age old questions, like where—
>Another squish sound made your ears twitch.
>Like where we come from, or what it means to be truly huma—
>A breathy moan came from behind.

>Okay, what the hell!?

>You turned and locked eyes with Maurie, the girl beet red in the face and her hand down the front of her pants, working it back forth.
>She squirmed, legs giving little twitches as her toes curled.
>Maurie looked up at you with hazy eyes and gave you a loopy looking smile.

>“Mmn, hiyah, An-non. You ready t-to play yet? Ah!”

--

>Be Maurie a little while ago.
>You smoothed out the drawing of you, Anon and Mama, looking it over to make sure it wasn’t smudged or ripped.
>You frowned and hugged it close to your chest, looking over at Anon.
>>
>>9020518
>Why would he toss it out like that? You made it just for him.
>Does he not like you?
>It was rare, but you’ve seen humans push each other away when they came over to feel good together.
>You crossed your legs on the bed and looked down at your new pants—’blew jeames’, Anon called them.
>The red jacket, which was now yours, rest on your torso, still having that light warm musky scent like a hug from a boy human.
>You ran your hands across your pants, feeling the ridges and tracing your fingers around the pocket lining.
>A smile crept onto your face and you pulled your knees to your chest.
>No, Anon didn’t hate you. He was nice and you could tell he was looking out for you.
>Something else was wrong.

>You looked up at his back, gaze wandering over those broad shoulders and that short hair that smelled like shampoo if you got close enough to smell it.
>A tingling sensation sparked in your chest and you squirmed a bit.
>Your breathing hitched as a warm feeling spread through your tummy, traveling lower.
>Yesterday had been busy.
>There was so much cool and fun stuff that you didn’t take care of your urges like you usually do!
>Anon studied your coloring page, and leaned back in his chair, staring at the ceiling.

>You didn’t want to bother him.
>Nonny was super smart, so whatever he was thinking about was probably important.
>It was a good time to take care of yourself.
>Maybe he’d even make himself feel good too before you went to play?
>You shivered as you imagined watching him, stroking his boy part.
>You’ll ask if he can show you—you’d seen a lot of males at the big place but you wanted to see what his looked like.
>>
>>9020533
>Your hand traveled downward and you unbuttoned your pants, sliding the little zipper to give you better access.
>Normally you’d take everything off, but right now the clothes felt good on your skin, and their smell made you feel tingly.
>Your middle finger travelled toward your special place and you slid it along your outer lips.
>A long, breathy sigh left you as the familiar sensation drifted through your body.
>It really had been a while.
>You’d get grabby after another day and Anon didn’t like that, so you needed to take care of this for sure.
>You leaned back against the pillows on the headboard, savoring the feeling as your finger rubbed little circles around your entrance.
>A touch of slipperiness touches on the back of your hand, which means you can start doing the best part!
>You bite your lip some while your finger pushes inside, just a little push, until the tingles slow down.
>You probed a few times at the entrance, savoring the first taste of what was to come, then pushed in, feeling the small ridges and bumps as you went deeper.
>Your finger came back all wet and warm before you plunged in again, this time forcing a small gasp out of yourself.
>Another one, you thought to yourself. Another finger. Now.
>A small squelch noise met your ears as your pointer finger joined in, stretching your folds further.
>You let out a hot breath and slowed, trying to steady yourself.
>Your chest felt hot and tight, like you’ve been playing chase all day, and the tingling made you feel dizzy for a moment.
>That was a little stronger than you were expecting…
>But you didn’t have that much time and you wanted to be ready to follow when Anon got up.
>You shoved both fingers deep inside, slowly but surely heading as far as you could go.
>Pleasure rolled through your hips, making your legs shudder.
>Your insides felt hot and wet around your fingers, gripping tight around them for more of the tingling.
>>
>>9020557
>You pulled out, then in again, unable to keep a steady pace as your body screamed for more, yet quickly found itself overwhelmed in seconds.
>You worked your fingers back and forth, pausing in your rhythm now and again to rub the outside of your entrance with your whole hand before diving back inside.
>The pumping became faster and you felt the warmth spread from your core toward your chest and your face.
>Everything felt hot and you squirmed against your clothes, feeling the softness cuddling your chest.
>You didn’t know they could be so tickly and good.
>You arched your back, pushing your hips forward, trying to push your fingers deeper.
>No matter how good you got, you always wanted to reach farther, feel all the way inside.
>Instead you settled for speeding up.
>Your hips settled back down and you bit your lip, switching fingers and teasing the outside.
>You can’t focus on anything anymore, just whatever makes you feel the fuzziest.
>You let out a moan, feeling a pressure building in your center, deep down inside you.
>Close… getting closer.
>Not much longer.
>Your thumb moved up towards the sensitive nub above your entrance and rubbed small circles on the hood.
>Pleasure rolled through you like lightning and you gasped, feeling suddenly breathless as you squirmed.
>Your mind wandered as you focused, driving closer and closer to the final crescendo.
>The first moments when your mama took you home came to the forefront of your imagination.
>You loved her so much for wanting you.
>You cuddled on the couch that first day, television droning in the background as you nuzzled into her lap with your torso.
>Mama ran her hands across your long hair, combing through it as she looked down at you.
>The two of you felt so close, her warmth spreading into your chest and making you feel safe and cared for.
>So this is what it’s like to have a home, you’d thought.
>>
>>9020587
>The pleasure rose as you imagined it had gone different after that, her hand wandering down to your chest or between your legs.

>Movement caught your eyes and you blinked away the haze to see Anon staring at you, a blank stare on his face.
>You squirmed, legs giving little twitches as your toes curled.
>You looked at up at him with unfocused eyes and smiled.

“Mmn, hiyah, An-non. You ready t-to play yet? Ah!”

>He stared open mouth for a moment before speaking.
>“Maurie, what what the heck are you doing?”

”I wanted to feel g-good,” you said, slowing a bit but still coaxing yourself closer to the edge.
”Yesterday there was so much going on when Mama took me home. I didn’t really have time, nnnf. I don’t normally go a whole day without making myself feel good, so the warm feeling is really strong and I had to do something.”

>Anon’s face reddened and he turned away.
>“Well—stop.”

>You furrowed your brow, hand hesitating.
“Huh? But why?”

>“Just,” he said. “It’s not… just not in front of me, okay? Please?”

>You frowned.
>Why would Anon tell you not to feel good?
>You don’t always understand things, but this was a good thing, you knew it was.
>Why would it feel so nice if it wasn’t okay?
>All the humans at the big place did it.
>Granted you did it a little more but… this was the first time.

>Anon shifted in his chair and your eyes drifted down, noticing a tent in his pants.
>But…! He was mad at you just now for needing to feel good!
>If he needs do it too then why did he...
>Your mouth dropped open as everything fell into place.
>A smirk grew on your face and you fought back the urge to giggle.

>Be Anon
>Holy hell, Maurie was just masterbating, and right there in front of you no less.
>She’s at that age when hormones were raging, you suppose.
>Nothing wrong with taking care of yourself really and learning how your body worked, but she needed to learn some damn modesty.
>You shifted in your seat, feeling the uncomfortable stiffness in your pants, which showed no signs of going down.
>Great… just great, now you have to wait for it to go down.

>Maurie snickered and you snapped your gaze over to her.
>She had her hands behind her back and a big, shit eating grin across her face.
>The girl hummed a directionless tune, shifting hips back and forth.

>You sighed.
“What, Maurie?”

>”I know something Mr. Smarty Pants doesn’t know.”

>You quirked an eyebrow at her.
>”And what might that be?”

“You~” she said, booping you on the nose with a finger. “Don’t know how to make yourself feel good, and you’re too embarrassed to ask because you feel silly.”

>Several seconds of silence filled the room as you stared blankly at Maurie.
>Everything seemed to have stopped in your brain for those moments, only her humming running through your ears.
>A glare slowly formed on your face.
“What the…? Maurie, I know how to masterbate.”

>She put a hand to her mouth, as if considering it for a moment.
>”Mastlerbasing is pretty smart BUT I know how to feel good,” she said, crossing her arms over her chest.

>What?
>WHAT?!
“Maurie, it’s the same damn thing! Masterbating IS feeling good.”

>Maurie blinked.
>”Huh? Er, I knew that—I was testing you! But I don’t believe you, anyways. Show me you know how. I wanna see.”

“What the— no, i’m not showing you!”

>She grinned smugly.
>FFFF
>What the heck is going on?
>No, Anon don’t rise to it.
>She’s basically a kid, even if her body is close in age.
>It’s not fair to get mad and—
>You felt the button on your pants pop and a hand gently pull the zipper down.
>>
>>9020630
>“It’s okay, Anon,” Maurie said, seeing your startled expression. “I saw how other human guys did it. If you admit I’m smarter than you, I’ll show you how.”

--

>“Anoooon, lemme out.”

“No.”

>Maurie pawed at the cage door, letting out a small whining sound.
>You remained sitting in front of it, legs crossed, unmoved to her plight.
>She brought this on herself.

>”Anon, I’m sorry for being mean. I’ll be a good girl, I promise. I wanna playeeeeeee.”

>You didn’t answer.
>Instead you softly nudged your treat ball across the carpet toward your left.
>Maurie’s whining stopped and her eyes locked onto the ball, her mouth slightly ajar.
>You rolled the ball back to your right hand after a second and she flinched, letting out a small gasp.
>A treat popped out.
>Maurie gripped the bars tight and let out a small squeak.
>You brought your hand down, slowly encircling the treat and picking it up then holding it up to the light
>It was a yellowish tint this time, which meant it was one you’d normally throw out, but you took a moment to turn it in your hands as if appraising a gem.
>Maurie’s tongue edged out, as if to lick it as you moved the treat toward your mouth.
>You popped it in and started chewing.
>Your least favorite; pineapple.
>You kept your face steady and let out a long mmmmmmmm.

>”Noooohohoho, Nonny pleeeease. I wanna play and have tasties with you!” Maurie said, squirming around on her knees as she held the bars.

>You moved your hand over toward some blocks and nudged one.
>It clicked into place by the magnet ridges.

>“Ahhhh!” Maurie yelled, wrapping her arms around her head and throwing it back while she squirmed. “It looks so fun. Nonny please!”

“No.”

>“But why?” she said, squishing her face against the bars.

“Because this is time out. You were bad.”

>”I’m sorry, Anon. I won’t do it again.”

“Do what again?”

>”Try to grab at your no-go zones with my hands.”
>>
>>9020649
>You gave her a look.

>”O-Or try to lick you. And to always wear clothes because Mama works hard to keep them clean so I can always look pretty.”

>You nodded.
“Good.”
>You rolled your treat ball again.

>Maurie watched for a moment, kneading her hands together.
>”Nonny?” Maurie said. “Can you open the cage now?”

“You still have two minutes left.”

>Maurie flopped on her back and groaned.
>”Aghhhh. When I get out I’m gonna play with you so hard that you’ll never wanna lock me up again!”

>You held down a snicker.
>How threatening.
>You stood and stretched, feeling a few joints pop in your back, then meandered down the hall from your room to keep the deer and dog in earshot.
>If you had to move her suddenly to keep her out of harm's way, you’d need an extra second to get her out of her tiny prison box.
>Maurie had been coaxed into a human cage, similar to the dog crates back home but with a lot more sturdy bars.
>The dog had actually put you in it on your first day here, but the only thing keeping you in had been two sliding bar latches that you could easily reach from inside.
>Maurie had stared at the latches when you slid them in place but only pushed on the door before asking to be let out.
>She probably didn’t know how to free herself.
>You sat down near the top of the stairs, keeping some spare attention on the murmur of conversation drifting up toward you.

“What am I doing to do with this girl…?”
>You turned your head slightly, watching her out of the corner of your eye.
>Her nose scrunched as she stared at the latches.
>She gave one a poke and you heard her grumble.
>You hummed to yourself and turned back to look down the stairs.
>The girl was clever, more so than a housepet for sure, but you suppose if humans could do everything fluffers could, they wouldn’t make good pets.
>>
>>9020676
>Maurie couldn’t use utensils properly, or unlock a door, but she could turn door handles and draw and color within the lines, so it was probably not a matter that she couldn’t learn things, just that nobody had shown her.
>You nodded to yourself.
>With a little bit of coaching, you could help her learn how to take care of herself.
>Neither of you were food, you knew that much now, but that didn’t change how pissed off both your owners could be.
>She had to know how to keep herself safe.

>You glanced at your watch, taking note that it was time to let her out.
>First up would be to show her how to undo the crate latches.
“Hey, Maurie, you did good. Stayed quiet and everythin—”

>The crate door swung limply on it’s hinges, both latches having been slid open.
>She poked her head around the corner, only half her face showing.
>She tilted her head down and looking at you with a guilty, worried expression, one of your oversized teddy bears held in her arms.

>You smiled.
“Clever girl…”

Pastebin is updated

I tried to take as much consideration for criticism last update as I could without completely abandoning what I wanted to do. Should be getting back to fur and human interaction next.

Would love to hear what you guys think.

I actually like the eathHuman/petHuman interaction, gives better context to the situation.

I'm glad you like them. I maybe should clarify that Maurie is going to be around ALONG with the furs next time.

>you are anon
"Hello!"
>and you are still a pet of a college girl

"Hello!'

"Hello!"
>That horse woman, Naomi was repeatedly opening and exiting through the door
"Hello!"
>And saying 'Hello' at you over
"Hello!"
>And over again
>She been trying to 'train' you into saying 'hello' like you were a parrot
>granted in this world that is rather what humans were, pet parrots
"Hello!"
>But not you, you already have shown too much intellect to your actual owner
>talking would be too risky and easy to fall into the trap of not knowing when you should stop 'learning' more words
>you already fell into that trap with assisting Mina in various tasks without realizing you shouldn't have been that smart til you already did it.
"Hello!"
>However this was not Mina but Naomi
>And Naomi was freakier to you then those horse masks back home
"Anon... Why won't you say something?"
>she finally was giving up it would seem, shutting the door behind her as she fully entered the room
"I know you are smart enough to learn to speak, Mina gets you doing just about everything."
>Well it did help that Mina wasn't a giant horse and was actually smaller then you
"Oh well, all that really wore me out after my training at the gym. I ought to go take a shower"
>Out of the corner of your eye you notice she is taking off her shirt already on her way to the bedroom
>Well if you ignore the fact she is a giant freaky looking horse woman you could enjoy those-
>No anon, no, do not look!
>You must resist, you tell yourself, do not let her think she has a way to capture your attention!

just a one shot that came to mind while putting together other ideas.

I'm not like the other write fags here that have some idea for a long connected story and just keep going like that (or at least that's the impressiion their styles give me). When I get an idea I build on it as far as my mind keeps going and stop writing when I begin to feel like I am just forcing out ideas to continue the scene.

Basically I just let loose my self control on my autism and just ramble on once I got some idea. But I got enough self awareness to know if I am hitting energizer bunny rambling
>>
A lot of these stories involve Anon avoiding getting caught being sentient, it makes me wonder what would actually happen?
>>
>>9036791
Well let's think about how we would react to a talking dog. People would freak out, they will say that the aliens have come to doom us, the government will get the dog and cover up the whole incident by saying "just a social experiment bro", and will do god's know what to it inside area 51.
>>
>>9036949
>>9036791
also think about what you would do if you had the chance to see how humans were treated and acted before you opened your mouth. I feel most would be cautious.

In my story anon is at the point he feels he could potentially trust that Mina wouldn't over react or make a big deal out of it. She might take advantage of it and push him into doing a lot more things for her, but he will largely want to keep up the status quo since he knows he got lucky with his owner. Also it amuses him at times

Update time for the human who can't into furs.

>Barely containing your urge to scratch, you rush into the bathroom and turn on the sink.
>You knew it was coming, a park full of humans covered in furry fur, and of course, the furry owners too.
>The amount of contact was minimal, but you can feel the hives forming, begging you to scratch them.
>Turning on the taps, you climb onto the counter and start vigorously scrubbing your hands.
>You're not alone in the room long though, as Kalia enters as you start to wash up.
>She passes you, heading to the bath before turning it on.
>This makes you pause and reflect on how nice a bath would be.
>"Anon, bath time!" she exclaims, turning to you with a smile.
>Like a deer in headlights, you're torn between the sweet relief the bath would provide and the thought that she wants to watch you bathe.
>This is ended swiftly as she starts taking off her own shirt.
>Her wandering around half dressed is one thing.
>You're NOT going to share a bath with her.
>Hopping down from the counter, you start pushing her out, her bare stomach somewhat cool against your wet hands.
>She doesn't put up much resistance, more confused than anything.
>Once she's out, you close the door and back up next to the tub.
>Stopping the tub before it overflows, you wait, watch and listen for Kalia.
>>
>>9052643

>You don't hear anything that would make you think she's aiming to come in, and so with cautious actions, you remove your clothes before entering the tub.
>A quiet "Ahhhh" escapes you as you sink into the toasty warm water, heat seeping into your core.
>The itching sensation melts away in the water, granting you the greatest of reliefs.
>Oh how you have missed being truly clean.
~~~
>Staring at the door, you feel something gnawing at your heart.
>Sure, he's not the most social human, but to push you away from bathing with him...
>Heading for the phone, you grab it and dial up Natalie's number.
>She seems to know a lot about humans, she should be able to help.
>The dial tone rings twice before you hear the other side pick up and Natalie answers "Hello?"
"Hi Natalie, uh, sorry about earlier, but I need your advice."
>There's a faint hum from the other side before she asks, "What's wrong?"
"You know a lot about humans right? well, Anon and I went to the park earlier, and while everything went well enough, when we got back, he went to wash himself in the sink."
"I had read that bathing is a great way to bond with your human and they will often bathe with just about anyone."
"But when I ran the bath and was undressing to go in with him, he pushed me out of the room and closed the door."
>There's silence on the other side of the line, and the gnawing sensation returns until Natalie answers.
>>
>>9052648
>"Well, you said he's not very social right? Maybe he was just raised that way, I mean, he was all over you last night, so I don't think he dislikes you or anything..."
"I guess..."
>"And besides, getting a human isn't like getting a toy. They're not just there for you to play with right off the bat. It takes time, like a boyfriend."
>"Speaking of..."
>A beep comes through, and you have to cut off your friend.
"Sorry, someone's calling on the other line, talk to you later Nat."
"Hello?" you ask, switching to the other line.
>"Kalia, It's Jannet, from work. I know you have the weekend off, but we need you in tomorrow. There's a big load coming in, and we need you there for it."
"... Okay, Yeah, I'll be there."
>"I know it sucks, Kalia, I feel you, but this is a really important shipment. Anyways, see you then."
"Yeah, bye."
>Hanging up, you listen idly to the faint splashes coming from the bathroom.
>You could have been in there with him, splashing about and scrubbing his back and bonding.
>But now you're stuck going into work tomorrow, and then you might have just enough time to get ready for your date after you get off, and...
"And I'll have no time for Anon..." you sigh before giving your cheeks a light slap.
"It just means I'll have to make today count more!"
~~~
>>
>>9052716

>Water drips off you as you rise from the bath, puddles forming beneath you.
>There's an issue, being there's no towels as far as you can see.
>So after shaking as much off as you can, you use your shirt to dry the rest before re-dressing.
>Here, you come to the second issue.
>You closed the door and don't want her to know you know how to open them.
>Letting out a quiet sigh, you tap on the door softly and wait for her to open it.
>You don't have to wait though, as the door opens almost immediately with her on the other side.
>"All clean and tidy now?" she asks, looking you over, "And you even dressed yourself. What a smart boy!"
>A claw reaches out and pats your bare shoulder, your shirt soggy and dangling from your arm.
>Holding up your shirt for her, she looks at it confused, before accepting it.
>"Oh, this is all wet, you can't go wearing this."
>She takes it and hangs it in the kitchen, before returning to you.
>Kneeling to get on your level, she gently takes one of your hands before speaking.
>"I have to go to work tomorrow, and i'm going to be gone almost all day, so you're going to be a good boy while I'm gone."
>"And so, we need to have some more fun together, okay?"
>You can't help but give her a confused look, which she takes as not a no, and she tugs you to the living room.
>"Now, what should we play..." she says to herself, looking around, still holding your hand.
>"Uh... I know I have something around somewhere... Stay here Anon," she instructs, before heading for the kitchen again.
>The sound of a door opening is followed by the creaking sound of old stairs, and you rush to peek around.
>A door near the one to the back leads downstairs into a concrete basement, and with a small knot of concern, you peek down.
>>
>>9052724

>A single lightbulb sheds a tired light over the open room.
>Nothing strange can be seen though, granting you a shred of relief.
>No rape dungeon here.
>Just a bunch of normal stuff, boxes, washer, dryer and the like.
>And from one of these boxes, you see Kalia's back end, tail swishing as she digs for something.
>It's actually kind of interesting, seeing how her tail is attached to her body like this.
>A natural extension of her spine, it curves off at an angle where an ass would normally be.
>Her pants sit tight around it too though, which begs you the question as to how hard it must be to have clothes for all the different body types.
>And human clothes too...
>On the surface things may seem the same, but things might be subtly different like this.
>Like food.
>That might have been chicken the other day, but can you be sure?
>Retreating back upstairs, you decide to duck behind the loveseat to look out the front window and think.
>Humans are white meat too, aren't they?
>But they wouldn't...
~~~
>Digging through your boxes of old stuff, you eventually find some of your childhood toys you kept.
>They're not exactly human toys, but they should do.
>There's a small shred of disappointment that your human isn't peeking down here curiously, but he's probably being a good boy and listening to you.
>Maybe this means he'll play with you, and then you can snuggle up on the couch later for tv.
>Restraining a big smile, you hurry up the old wood stairs and nudge the door closed with a foot before rushing to the living room.
>But Anon's not there...
>>
>>9052736
"Anon? Where are you?" you call out softly, "I got some things for you to play with."
>Laying out the toys across the floor, you peek behind the couch for him before moving onto the loveseat.
>Just like this morning, he's sitting behind it, gazing out the front window, but this time, he has an... unpleasant look on his face.
>It's not scared, but pretty close, and leaves you feeling worried.
>Part of you wants to pick him up and cradle him and comfort him, but the logical side of you understands he's not comfortable enough with you for that.
>Looking at your toys, you take an old doll and laying down so you're alongside the loveseat, you walk it towards him.
>It's not easy, puppeting the doll like this, but you manage to have it tap Anon's side to draw his attention.
>He looks down at it, before over at you briefly before returning his gaze out the window.
>Your worry escalates, as he doesn't really react to you bringing around other toys either.
"Okay, so what could be wrong?" you ask yourself, standing and slowly walking around your house.
"It's almost noon, so he could be getting hungry, but hungry humans are usually beggy humans, even Anon."
"Is he lonely?"
>Sitting down on the edge of your bed, you look over at your laptop and debate searching for help.
"He shouldn't be lonely since he didn't want to play with the other humans at the park."
>A sudden realization strikes you, making you rise from your bed.
"He's probably scared I'm going to abandon him or something, since I said I had to work tomorrow."
"I bet a nice lunch will perk him up!"
>Flexing your claws, you hurry to the kitchen and start digging through the cupboards for something to make.
>He really liked dinner last night, but you don't have the stuff to make it again.
>>
>>9052752
>Soup would be too messy and you don't have the stuff left for sandwiches or a salad...
"Oh, hey, chicken strips, that'll be perfect!" you exclaim, opening the freezer.
>They don't take long to cook, and soon you have a plate for you and a bowl for Anon.
>Your little human is still staring out the front window, even as you set the bowl next to him.
>He does pay it some attention though, and that's a good sign, right?
>Your own lunch is eaten while you watch some tv, and before long, Anon does come out, if only briefly to put his now empty bowl on the coffee table.
>Before long, he retreats to his room, and peering over, you see him laying in his bed looking up.
>This is not how you expected to spend your saturday with a new human, but well, it could be worse.
>Right?
>It's dinner time before you know it, and Anon remains in his room, leaving once to use the toilet.
>Dinner is just kibble for him, and in what seems far too soon, it's time for bed.
~~~
>You're not sure at what point you fell asleep, but morning arrives to the sound of step and the rustle of clothes.
>Kalia stops in front of the doorway, noticing you rising.
>"I've got to run to work, Anon, I'll see you when I get back!"
>And with that, she's out the door, and as soon as the sounds of her car driving away fade, you're left with a dead silent house.
>Stretching, you pull yourself from bed and wander into the bathroom.
>After a quick leak, you start opening drawers.
>If you're going to figure out how this world is different, this is the perfect time to look.
>Also, you're starting to develop some facial hair, and a razor would not go amiss.
>>
>>9052766

>Male humans here definitely grow facial hair, you've seen one or two with it at the center, but do furs shave their humans?
>Or more likely, human groomers.
>Nothing jumps out at you as you dig through drawers and cupboards, though you do find where she keeps her towels.
>A bowl of food is waiting for you in the kitchen, along with one of water.
>The water's still cool, attesting to its freshness so you bring it along with the food to the living room.
>Since the owner's away, the pets will play, or however that saying went.
>And while the toys are interesting in their own right, you're a grown man, and that means television.
>The power button is obvious, and immediately upon turning the tv on, you are greeted by a low detail animated human waving energetically.
>Hitting a combination of what you hope are numbers, the channel changes to some commercials.
>Grabbing a handful of kibble, you change the channel again, finding a sports channel showing something that looks like baseball.
>You find the guide with little issue, but it's basically latin to you, as you still can't read fur runes.
>And so you do what any bored person does.
>Channel surf.
>Food channel, kids channel, music channel, nature channel, two humans fucking with a furry watching and narrating it, another sports channel.
>...
>>
>>9052777

>Flipping back a channel, you stare as two humans go to pound town with a furry explaining human breeding information to the viewers.
>Disgust, but mild arousal would sum up what you feel, because, well, it is basically porn, but at the same time, it's seen as such casual television.
>At least, you think so.
>This might be an adult channel, but you can't tell yet.
>Though if it is, doesn't that confirm that this isn't bestiality?
>At the same time, it's human on human, so that probably means this is like, a nature channel, and doesn't explain if human on furry is common or normal.
>Sighing at your mental loops, you watch the little Blonde girl take it from behind for a few more minutes before switching to something else.
"Ah fuck it," you sigh after flipping a few more channels, "Nothings on to explain anything."
>Letting out another sigh, you lay back and look for something interesting.
>After all, if something's going to happen, you're just going to have to deal with it at that time anyways.
~~~
>Pulling into your driveway, you shut off the headlights and resist the urge to bang your head against the steering wheel.
>Today would have had serious troubles trying to be worse than it was.
>An accident stuck you almost half an hour behind, and when you finally got to work, apparently the shipment was running behind schedule as well.
>When it arrived, it turned out you didn't quite have enough space cleared out, so some people had to work on that while others brought stuff in, and by the time everything was done, it was an hour and a half past when it should have been done.
>That left you no time to go home to clean up for your date, though it probably wouldn't have mattered, as that crashed and burned quick.
>>
>>9052791
>You're pretty sure he stayed for the whole thing out of pity, or maybe a chance to get laid.
>And truth be told, you can't exactly blame him.
>Hell, your human doesn't even like spending time with you.
>Leaving your car, you lock it before trudging up to the door.
>Anon's probably not even waiting on the other side for you to get home.
>Unless he's really hungry because you couldn't make it back to at least give him dinner...
>Banging your head against the door, you curse yourself silently.
>You're terrible at this, no wonder he doesn't spend time with you.
"I'm home," you say to the dark entry hallway once inside, before letting out a sigh.
>Slowly making your way down the hall, you glance into Anon's room to see him lying there, looking up at you with tired eyes.
>But he doesn't smile or jump up or anything like that.
>No, he just lays there sleepily.
>Letting out a low sigh, you drag your claws as you make your way to your room.
>At this point, you want to just fall asleep, and hope tomorrow is less shit.
~~~
>A thunk on the door shakes you from your sleep, making you rub your eyes.
>There's a clink of the lock opening, followed by the door.
>Looking over, you see Kalia walk past, her eyes locking briefly with yours before she passes.
>She... she actually looks bad.
>Like, you really want to give her a hug better.
>There's another thunk, and you roll over and stand, sneaking to the door.
>Peeking around, you see her with her forehead pressed to the door, claws dangling at her side.
>She got you as a pet, a companion, and if you're going to be her pet, even if for only a little while, you should at least do this.
>Hurrying to her, she's opened her door to go in, but you catch her claw in your hand.
>When she stops, you let go before hugging around her waist.
>Her clothes have picked up some fur from whatever she was doing, but you don't let it bother you as you bury your face in her chest.
>>
>>9052806

>After a moment, you feel her relax and wrap her arms around you.
>Looking up at her, you can feel your eyes starting to water from the fur.
>Her own eyes are watering, a smile gracing her toothy jaw.
>"I'm sorry I couldn't get you dinner Anon," she says, rubbing your head, "How about I make us a treat instead?"
>She gently levers your hands off her, before leading you to the kitchen while holding one.
>Stretching out, she digs through the cupboards with one hand, the other held around yours.
>"I know it's in here somewhere... Ah!"
>She pulls out a bag before sitting on the ground in front of you.
>When it's opened, the rich smell of jerky wafts out, drawing you to sit with her.
>A piece is pulled out and given to you, and as you accept it, you shimmy over and try to sit in her lap.
>Confusion is evident from her, but as you settle in and lean up against her, she reaches an arm around you comfortingly.
>"I'm not sure if this is you accepting me, or just trying to be sweet for more snacks, but you know what, right now, I don't care."
>"My human wants to cuddle me, and so who am I to say no."
>Leaning back against her relatively small but still ample chest, you feel similar.
>If this is what it's like being a pet, it's not actually too bad.
>At least, as long as she's not going to have you do silly pet stuff.
>You are NOT going to... uh...
>Well, you'll think of something, but for now, beef jerky and affection.
>"You know, how about we watch a little tv before bed?"
>>
>>9052843

>Rather impressively, she picks you up and carries you with her to the couch, grabbing the remote before sitting down.
>A sudden thought hits you, and you cringe as she hits the power button.
>You forgot to change it off the porn channel you found.

I like this new version of events when compered to the original.
Comes across as a lot more sensible. While the original version suddenly changed the mood to pretty depressive, this is an appropriate depiction of a hard day and isn't too radical a shift from the rest of the story so far.
Good job.

The change is good. Everything is a lot more subtle, and there's not a feeling of wasted time. Every scene pretty much has a purpose, though I wish the TV scene had more point to it besides setting up a joke for later. Still, downplaying the interactions a bit but still giving them the attention they deserved adds a lot more power to the scenes in a way.

I'd like some sort of plot direction to kick in though.

Alright, i know maybe this question has been asked before...

But what lifespan would have humans in a fur world?

12-15 years like dogs? Or even less?
>>
>>9085820
Some types of pets (like bigger parrots) have ridiculous lifespans that rival humans, so I wouldn't see why human pets couldn't have a normal lifespan. It might even lead to scenarios like a human being a "family pet" that stays with them for decades, getting essentially passed down every generation to a new owner.
>>
>>9085820
I tend to imagine Fur world humans have shorter youth years (like, 4-5 years to adult to late teen age) and then live another 30-40 before declining rather quickly, something like 3 years till average death.
>>
>>9085820
Mmmmm. Numbers. Nothing like numbers to kick a thread back to life huh? And theoretical numbers that will never be proven to be correct! My favorite.

>>

>>9090714
Oh.. Yeah, it seems it's supposed to be great for removing powerful smells. I wonder if that's just an hold folklore tip thing with no actual merit.

Either way, I'd love to be the pet of a huge anthro skunk. Modern civilized skunks would probably either have evolved to the point where their most potent scent glands were congenital, or they would never use them.
>>
>>9090831
Even skunks aren't fond of their spray and use that has a last resort. Skunks also have really shit directional instincts and easily get lost. The glands can be surgically removed with no lasting harm to them. but anthro skunks might keep them because it's built in pepper spray. Of course, they would need to pull down their pants and underwear.panties to shoot it at people.

Hmm, interesting.
A modern, civilized culture with anthro skunks would probably look down harshly on spraying in public, though. It might be something embarassing kids to, voluntarily or not, kind of like crapping yourself.
(Hence, adults would be very hesitant to do it, since it probably wouldn't have any effect on a determined assailant anyway. It's just a scent, after all.)
>>
>>9090922
No it's not, that stuff is worse than pepper spray and can actually blind you. A lot of sulfur in it and is powerful enough to ward off nears. Also, think how much worse it is for species whose sense of smell is much much stronger than humans.

I love how Hardiman drew fur, claws/fangs, and gaping mouths

>>9090958
Keep in mind that pepper spray cannot blind you. It's chemically very inert, not being caustic or anything. It's just a neural receptor agonist, really, which means it tricks your body into feeling as if it fucks you up, when it really doesn't. (So technically/medically, it doesn't "blind" people. Heh, yeah I know it's kind of funny)
Sulfur in itself (or rather, the hydrogen sulfide compounts that's part of the skunk's "cocktail") isn't that chemically reactive or caustic, but is an extremely potent aromatic.
Concentrated, I'm sure it could cause some irritation, but keep in mind a skunk sprays minuscule amounts of this stuff out. It's the aerosolization and consequent spreading through air that makes it seem like a lot, since it smells so incredibly potent.

>Keener sense of smell than humans
Interesting point, but remember that animals (mammals, mostly) have an evolved aversion towards skatole and sulfide compounds (prominent in the spray) because of their abundance in decomposing (and thus poisonous) organic matter.
Many scavenger/carrion-eating species can smell it just as well (if not better) than others, but don't have the aversion.
I think skunks have far less aversion to the scent than most other mammals, really.

Why o you people go right to comparing human pets to contemporary pets for things like this? Makes no sense use your heads a little bit.

A) you could look at our closest relatives in the primate world and realize they have lifespans of around 30-50 years depending on the species. Chimps are rather long lived
B) understand that most of our lifespan is possible thanks to medicine and way of life, it is not a natural lifespan. So you must ask yourself how likely would they want to give humans all the treatment necessary for living to such old ages? Personally I think diet would be usually good enough to keep them going a good while, since I like to imagine they rare more likely to cook human pets the same things they eat so if they are eating healthy so is the human.
C) and this is the big one, we already have human lifespan without all the medical advancements. 100 years ago the expected lifespan was just 50 years, like a lot of our primates. So now ask yourself this, did those humans age faster? no, they just died at a younger age.

TL:DR, human pet lifespan should be in theory roughly 40-50 years. This does not mean they age faster and look like 80 years old at their peak. They die looking like they are fifty.
>>
>>9090714
>>9090831
it does not remove the smell att all, this has been debunked numerous times. It IS very good at covering and obscuring the scent, but you have to keep bathing in it until the scent naturally dissipates.

A proper remover is baking soda and hydrogen peroxide with a dash of liquid soap. The chemicals responsible for the odor in skunk spray are not water soluble which is why people resorted to bathing in tomato sauce since water does nothing. Instead you have to chemically nuetralize them, which is were the peroxide comes in. This oxidizes them and renders the smell inert.
>>
>>9091263
This is a slight misconception. While it was true that our lifespans were shorter it wasn't dramatically so. What it really meant was that children died all the time and easily. This brought the average down significantly. If you survived to reach your twentieth birthday there was a good chance you would make it to at least 70 something or older provided you didn't die from things other than old age (also common and brought down the average age).

There were two rows of gnarled old people, wrinkled, bowed and bent, dressed up in their Sunday best, because photos was a big thing back in the day.

Looking at them i guesstimated them to be about eighty or so. Then i read the text. They were all between 51 to 55.

As a Fur with a human medical licence, semi-frequent sexual release is actually very important for humans. Most will take care of it themselves, but some raised in stricter households who have trained their human not to masturbate often wind up develloping symptoms of depression, occasionally including self harm.
It may seem wrong, but if your human seems depressed or less responsive, first take them to a vet to get them checked out. The vet may reccomend "sexual therapy" though this usually just consists of teaching your human when and where, and sometimes how to masturbate, or sessions with a sexual therapy human.
Actual sex with your human would never be reccomended by a professional, but it is an option most of the time.

Haven't read much yet since I stumbled upon here recently. What about interactions between humans and other kinds of pets? Do you imagine they have cats and dogs too? That To Tame story had them as feral but even if they were domesticated would they be as friendly to humans? Maybe being bipedal would be enough. Or not. If humans are bright enough for menial tasks then you could have your pets feed your pets.

Somewhat unrelated, but isabelle was by far the best fucking thing about animal crossing.
>>
You know quite a few Cats can operate doors, and do so without being at the right height or having proper hands. So stories with humans not being able to do so is a bit weird.

I can't use spoilered text so avoid this if you want to go in dry.
She's a troublesome teenager sent to work for her aunt over summer break to try to give her some structure. Her aunt owns a human day care service which Anon and Maurie are sent to for a day. Saying anything more will give away the fun.

Will we see more of her around anon, like at home or in a grocery store.

>pet anon gets lost
>wanders into downtown
>gets wrapped up in the seedy underbelly of human fighting
>pitted in a fight to the death with some poor bastard
>slowly becomes rising star of human "gladiator" fighting, smashing people's faces in with the pommel of his broadsword.
>owner desperately tries to find him the whole time, while anon slowly gets a new personality from his newfound hobby.
>Eventually breaks out and kills the ringmasters, ala Spartacus
Fund it.

>TFW your master don't even care of what you do to her/him because she/he think you are not sentient.

What kind of thing would you do because of this "advantage"?
>>
>>9200341
Was tempted to say prank, but it would honestly be pretty cruel to freak them like that. Imagine coming home and something had changed despite nobody else having a key and only your cat was around. You'd think you had a stalker or something before you figured the cat did it.

Honestly I can't think of much beyond chest and butt touching. Sometimes with my face.
I'd probably be more taking advantage of the rent and responsibilities free room and board.
>>
>>9200341
Get into her clothes, run around when guests are around with her panties on my head and like, a sock on one hand. Make a bed from her dirty laundry to lie on. Moterboat her. Lay my head on her lap as we watch tv on the couch. Make angry noises at guys who get too close to her. Suck on her tits while pretending to be asleep.

*Sapient.

Well I can't wait for her to do... pet stuff

I would absolutely bury my nose under her furry tail---clothes or no---when she least expected it. Repeatedly.
